High resolution images in mails

I'm trying to send a high-resolution image from outlook in my HD, but it keeps cropping my images. I haven't found how to disable this, can it be done?
And one more question, in many menu-screens, the content is shown compressed togeather in the upper left corner of the display making it very hard to see all the text in the options, is there a solution to this?
(edit: not cropping, reducing quality is the correct description)
Try to zip it first ?
yes, ofcaurce I could, but it's just an annoying thing.. I understand why the function has been implemented, but I have unlimited data-transfer so for me it's just a irritating limitation. And even if I didn't have unlimited data-transfer, I still wouldn't want the phone to mess with my pictures, if I wan't to send big ones and pay for it, that sould be my decision.

Changing text size in froyo browser?

Is it me or did the ability to change text size in the froyo browser disappear?
Yeah and its kinda missing from email you have small, medium large you used to have smellets, smaller, small, medium, large, larger
I still have it via pinch-to-zoom. Some websites (BBC mobile) don't work with it though.
If anything it's better than it was previously as before I had to double-tap to do text reflow, but now it does it automatically. This wasn't on by default and I had to change it in settings.
Digging up this old thread because I've come up with a method for the Epic4g which I believe will also work on i9000 and other Galaxy S phones:

If someone can confirm it works that would be awesome as I don't have an i9000 to test.

Adjust MMS compression settings

Anyone know if there's a way to adjust the mms compression settings? I use shootme to take screenshots and when I send them to friends, it's completely unreadable and blocky. I'm guessing because it gets compressed so dam much.
Some roms raise the mms size limit, that should help.

Hey guys, my fiance's Shift has somewhat of the same problem. She'd take a picture with every possible setting on 'high' and they look great on the phone itself. If you view the pics on a PC from the SD card, they look pretty good, too. The problem appears when she sends pics as mms to me or other phones (other 'droids, iphones, BBs...you name it): these attachments arrive in 'thumbnail' format! You can zoom in, but all the original quality goes down the drain
Shift is rooted and I flashed....don't remember what lol. I think it was the 'official' update...is it called AOSP? Sorry, kinda of a n00b here
Any ideas?

Might want to try MikShifted G v1.76 or Supreme Sense v8 . Both have the MMS Compression settings adjustments your talking about. The pic quality is also great even when you send an MMS.
To add to prboy1969's point the you will probably need to be on a custom rom that has those settings tweaked. Although you should still be able to send a pic and have it come out ok on the other end.

[Q] email Font

This is an issue that I have had since I got the phone.
As I have gotten older, my eyes have gotten worse, so I need glasses to read small print. I can read my text messages just fine, but I have trouble reading many of my emails. The font is just too small. This stinks, since I don't carry reading glasses around. I contacted Samsung customer service about how to increase the size of the font, and they said that it cannot be done. The size of the font is set in stone. I do not believe this is a problem on other Samsung Galaxy S phones, and from I can tell the new Froyo update did not provided a fix.
Anyone else find this annoying? Anyone know of a way to get around this problem. Too bad you can't tap the screen to enlarge the font.

All i can think of is changing the screen density, but...will also make parts of the screen not visible, so if you do go this route, only do increments of 10, i am not sure if our phone supports font swap but i will look into it asap.

Pat tried to change the screen density, in Miunia and it had all sorts of wierd consequences. Not to mention, you'd have to be rooted, and edit build prop to do it. It might be easier (If you are rooted) to get into the apk and change the font sizes in drawable. How large do you want it? And are you rooted? If so, I'll see about decompiling and tweaking it. Also, which e'mail app are you referring to? stock e'mail, or Gmail or what?
Email font
Yes, I am rooted.
I an using the email client provided by Verizon. It connects to my pop3 accounts As far as font size 10 would be good 12 would be better. Getting a new email app might work. Are you using one that allows enlarging of the font. Can you recommend an email app that enlarges the font?

Picture Quality Decrease in Messenger

I've recently noticed that when sending pictures/screenshots, the quality goes down.
Before when I sent screenshots, they would take up the whole message bubble. When tapped on it would bring the image up in great quality.
Now the image is downsized and when tapped it comes up a little pixelated.
At first I thought it was an issue with me being at my data limit and being throttled. However, it's a new cycle and I'm still noticing the issue. I don't believe I've changed any settings that would affect this but maybe there's something I did but didn't mean to.
Each carrier has a mms limit. I'm on Verizon so my pics get compressed to around 1MB reducing the quality. I use Google photos to send links after I've uploaded the pics or I email them if I need to preserve the quality.
