i took a look quickly, it seems serious, but complicated. u need a SD card, and, moreover, it looks like it flashes the Artemis, so i am not ready to do it first.
i will do it after some feedbacks.
here is the archive.
there is also a .doc tutorial, step by step, nice try guys. if someone succeed, tell us about it plz.

Hey man, can you get one CID Unlock?
1. Execute this app.
2. Insert the HTC customized key card into SD card reader and assign the SD Drive to this app.
This key card should be customized by HTC before. It should contain following files:
a. excadiag.nbh / Artediag.nbh --> The signed NBH file of CST diagnostic image.
b. diagdata.dat --> The encrypted RSA key file.
3. Import an IMEI list and assigned an output file path for IMEI/Unlock code mappingg.
4. Input the MCCMNC code which will be assigned into those devices.
5. Press the "Generate SD Card" button to generate configuration file into SD card.
After this process, you will find a cstdata.dat file into the key card. And you can also find
an IMEI/Unlock code mapping table into the path that you assigned before.
You may insert the key card in the HTC device which you want to enable SIM lock in power off status. Enter bootloader mode. The key card will automatically start to enable SIM lock mechanism ,
ok, i took a serious look on that tool, and i am blocked at 4th step. i have to input my MCCMNC but i dont know what it is. it searche on google and find mine:
mcc = mobile country code. i'm from france so my mcc is 208.
mnc = mobile network code. mine is orange: maybe 01 or 03, dunno.
etc
can som1 would be more precise about this point plz?

I think yor are right !!! It does not work.
Every time i generate SD card i got another unlock code.
An when i set ppc in bootloader mode to unlock nothing happens!!!
it seems like inserting the memory card with the files really is not necessary. as far as i am concerned, i just take a look on my output file to pick up the unlock code after the sd card is generated.
but as said before, the curious thing is that it always generates a different unlock code.

What if you run the memory card with bootloader first and it creates a file on the card? Just an idea.
I would try it, but I can not get bootloader to work, it just goes to a multi-coloured screen!
did anybody get this to work?

I also tried it and yes, it randomly generates unlock codes. and no, putting it into bootloader (record button + soft reset) doesn't do anything. it only says reading content from usb card, but it doesn't unlock it! when i put in another sim, i get an unlock screen after putting in my pin, and then when i try the unlock code provided by the unlocker, it fails.
so, the unlocker did not work for me but i might be doing something wrong... as for now, thanx for the effort of putting it up online, but we will have to wait for another solution.
Maybe try cstdata.dat as unlockfile for the software used by imei-check?
Don't know if that's gonna work cause I don't know what the unlockfile imei-check gives you looks like.

first of all , thanks to all the crackeres and progarmers here who do their best to make our life easier .
ok i'll describe what i found in breif
i'm still new to this field but i got intersted in it and i had a friend who was complaining that his p3300 mobile was sim locked when he was trying to upgrade to wm6
so i offered to help him as i have a good background in pc progarams cracking
i searched ur forums for the sim unlock but i couldn't find it
so i tried to use the tools available here to figure out how i can unlock it
and here are my results :
1 - i found that the program which locks the phone is called " simlock.exe "
and this file is well hidden in the windows folder and u can't see it inhe i - mate or even using win xp
the only way to see it is by 2 methods :
u can see it if u are using win vista and u showed hidden files and system files
or u can see it using xda utlities " pdir -v windows\s*.exe"
2 - i tried to delete this file or copy it to my pc to analyze it using my set of cracking programs but it always gave me ( access denied )
3 - finally i could get rid of this stupid screen that is asking for ( unlock key ) using the command " pkill simlock.exe " and i could open the phone while the sim is in without any interference from this program .
4 - there were 2 drawsback for my method
- the phone got simlocked again when i restart the phone because the program is set to run again .
- there was no signal from the sim ( just say it is searching for signal )
5 - i tried to debug the simlock.exe while it is running and i found that it is attached to another file called ( compime.dll ) which is also hidden and inaccessible .
after all what i found , i have a conclosion here which i want the experts to discuss and try to use it to make a program for unlocking this i-mate
this file ( simunlock ) is started when the windows load its files either by regestry key or another way
then when u enter code it sends it to the compime.dll library which compares it with the serial it generates
and there is another 1 or more programs which prevent sim from working properly
so to sim unlock this phone we need to find how simunlock.exe and the other programs which prevents the user from using the phone starts and we disable or delete them
or another more complicated smart way is to figure out how compime.dll generates and compares the codes and make a sim keymaker using the same algorithm
this is what i found till now
i don't know if u know these information or not but i felt that it is my duty to tell u what i know as u tell me what u know

hi. can anybody please help me on how to activate my hd2. i am currently running Pdaimatejam Wp7.5 mango 7740 build. and in its features , it says no chevron unlocker needed, i already have the activation code. i have tried several times but it says its wrong. i want to know whether i have to use any special procedures , like using the HD2 Unlocker kit ? or maybe my activation code is just wrong...

Two possible possibilities :
1- Do a reset from "about" menu. (once, my code didn't work, told it was invalid, after a rest it worked)
2- Your code is invalid, get a new one.

If you need a activation code, I just did one for this rom the other day. I read a few threads where people are stating you have to call etc. I got in touch with their live online support (mind you I was doing this at 4am in Australia) and only gave them a contact number and name.. they generated a key and made sure it worked.
otherwise follow Marvlesz advice
