the fourth option of Phone Profile on HTCHOME is perfect for me
Ringer on when no meetings and vibrate during meeting
Is there anybody who can help me to know what is the program and/or registry change ?
I don't want to have HTCHOME just for this function
with spb phone suite I see Personalized Profile but I can't see the customization
I've installed HTCDiamond clock,icon and background on HTCHOME , good clock thank you guys here for your work
I'm interested in the same thing, and i would like to know if there is any plugin with ringer options

Hi all,
I have been using PPC Profiles for some time now- I have recently discovered the PhoneAlarm app...
I love all the features of PhoneAlarm- especially the repeating alarm on sms etc.
I don't really need many of the display items of the PhoneAlarm today bar; what I do want is all the Profiles listed side by side (as with PPC Profiles).
As PhoneAlarm is generally better- is it possible to have the above feature in PhoneAlarm?
So, all I really need is an app that has repeating alarms and profiles displayed side by side. Even an individual app that does the repeating alarm thing would be great.

I currently use PhoneAlarm, but check out SuperAlert for PPCPhone edition. You should be able to find it at www.pocketfillers.com This is just a repeating alarms app that runs in background, accessible from a icon in the system tray. You can use in conjunction with your current profile software, or try the excellent PocketZenPhone for profile functionality. PZP is available in today screen and system tray versions, so you can keep your today screen really clean with this and SuperAlert.

Phonealarm Profile switching
you can use the buttons of the navigation pad (left-right) on your macigcan to switch between the profiles. this is just like having the profiles side by side. first klick down until the phonealarm is marked, then use right or left to switch.

Timed Tab Functionality...
I know this is probably the wrong forum for this, but how does the Timed-tab work? I've attempted to set appointments for busy/outofoffice, etc... for the Timed-tab to work but it doesn't. I'm starting to think there is some configuration somewhere else to enable it.

i installed the cab called htchome 6tab
if you installed the cab called htcHome 5tabs then thats
prob the reason
if you installed the one called 6tab then i have no idea
For 6 tabs there is a registry setting in /HKey_Local_Machine/Software/HTC/HTCHome/ and a key called Tabsetting which if you change it to 1,2,3,4,5,6 and then soft reset you will have the 6 tabs

Something like SPB Phone Suite or Phonealarm allow you to set time-based profiles.
Might be what you are looking for?
Ie, I have it set so it goes vibrate from 9am-5pm and Ring+Vibrate the other hours.

Still trialing both really, just to test the functionality.
I used to play with rlToday great today plugin and have many skin for it. I liked my rlToday skins change based on time of day. So I wrote simple mortscript which run on specific time of day (setted in setting.ini file) and change my today screen plus ringer volume, vibrate, backlight, flight mode on/off!
I think if you were familiar with mortscript your can modify my script (see attachment) and create your own AutoRingToneChange

I was wondering if there was a program out there that lets you schedule vibrate on/off. This would be really useful so that it would change before and after classes, after 11:00pm or whatever.

Just a quick explanation of how this works. the HTC Home plugin has four options for setting the volume/vibrate of the phone. Normal, silent, vibrate, and automatic. Automatic is the one your looking for. Basically, what it does is put your phone into silent when you have an appointment in your calendar. The only problem is that it doesn't take into account whether the appointment is listed as "free" or "busy". I personally wish it would not silence the phone when the appointment is listed as free, but you take what you can get.
so it's tied to the calendar ?
you cannot schedule it to do it at certain hours even though the calendar is empty ?

Any suggestions of programs that don't need to take over the Today screen? I'm using Windows Mobile 6.5 default today screen which doesn't seem to have automatic vibrate like TouchFLO 3D had.. I'd also rather have it as automatic silent, not vibrate, so I still need a real program even if I go back to TF3D.

Try Spb Plus, it should do what you need and there is many more that has this as a possibility, anything installed can be tagged with plug in, Also the applications you stated should had changed to default once installed. Should also be able to do it with changing anything.
