Does anyone know of a way to record the uptime or last powered on time for the wizard. Due to the high number of posts regarding the Wizard rebooting itself every now and again, it would be good to be able to view when it was last switched on and current uptime to help troubleshooting.
I wouldnt even know where to start looking....can anyone help ??

Did anyone get it working correctly for a while? I have very strange results. I'm most interested in uptime since last soft reset. But it somehow doesn't show correct values even after couple of hours. For example if it was working about 1 hour it shows 11 minutes and so on. After some while it starts counting from beginning.
After some experiments I had to uninstall this app.
I have Wizard with I-mate K-JAM 216901, 2169101, 020710 rom.
Might want to try this one instead... no Today Item yet, but he's pondering adding that:

To write a today plugin i must learn enough C++ or C# to be able to write one (you can't make dll's in visual basic apparently).

can anyone help, i changed some settings and i am using the trial version, now i need to undo one of the settings as it has made some sort of "block" over where my signal and clock are.
anyone know of a serial/keygen/ something that i can do to get rid of this block???

Have you tried 'living in the past'? Put the date on your device back about a year and see if it works... No guarantees, sometimes it works (particularly with simpler protection schemes) and sometimes it doesn't.
Could you post a screengrab? I'm curious as to what you mean by 'a block'.

Hello all,
The clock on my HD2, which replaces the battery icon when using an application was originally digital, i dont know what i have done (if anything) which has turned it to analog.
It is very difficult due to the size to read this analog version, can anyone on here tell me a way to change this back to digital?
At one time if you hold down the clock up top on the today screen you could choose digital or analogue, maybe you still can and you changed it by accident. I have a task manager getting in my way to test it at the moment.

I have tried looking at all the settings to do with time but still haven't been able to find anything, not sure how it could have happened in the first place.
I take it by the lack of interest no one else is having this problem.

U can change your clock back to digital from the following registry key:
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Shell\AnalogClock
Change the value from 1 to 0... That should solve your issue.

Hey, just gave it a try and it works a charm, needs a reset after changing the code but apart from that thats it.

I have searched high and low for a cab file for this app. I got a T-Mobile software upgrade for my TP2. Cool, it was alright, nothing by comparison to NRG's ROM. I did however lose a few apps that were pretty cool: Co-Pilot,Visual Voicemail,etc.
The one that is of importance, though, is the Mobile Backup App. I have checked the threads on here and have ended up with nothing. I DO KNOW this file exists for this format of Windows Mobile. I tried to copy the correct files to my SD Card, but apparently am missing some and don't know what to look for anyway.
So, if somebody out there knows what's up with a cab or exe or files that I could extract from the stock rom, I would appreciate a little "heads up." Thanks in advance for any help.
EDIT: Thanks to SirPhunkee, we have a cab for any T-Mo users that is tested and works perfect on our TP2's. Here's his link to the cab

Did we already have you try this cab? I've handed it to a couple of people recently, can't remember if you were one of them
It's the tmo mobile backup that was extracted from the tmo HD2 ROM, and I think it works on the TP2...too Even if it's looking like it's running ok, make sure you test the sync in both directions (saving to their server and backing up from it) before you rely on it.
I still highly recommend myphone to accomplish the same tasks and more, but this is admittedly a lean solution, so definitely use whichever works best for you

Man, I gotta buy you a beer someday. That's great. I did not receive that from you recently, but thanks for posting it. It works well if I ever lose my phone or something happens to my pc whatever and I can't sync my original device with my contacts. NRG should cook this into his ROMs, uhum.

Thank You Sir Phunkee... Too bad you could not have given this to me on the 2.5 sense cab thread... lol But having all these Carrier Specific .cabs would be nice there is a thread for the HD2... There you can get a lot of defaults.

Yes, that HD2 thread is where I found this copy, but I thought it was the same as WarlockW's posted cab (which didn't have as handy as this copy). I suspect that they're not different by phone model, but rather by WM version...but I'm just guessing there

You have to call T-Mobile and get them to set this app up on your "plan." What I mean is, it IS free to add to you payment plan, but you actually have to call customer care and get them to add it, but like I said it's FREE. Don't ask me why, but they just have it set up that way. I had the same problem, and it took like 10 minutes from dialing their number to having the software work. It's apparently a matter of account settings or something that they have to tweak.

Now WHAT??
I am running the new NRG ROM in my sig, but IT won't allow me to install mobile backup to this version. I haven't tried the newest ROM from the 13th, but I sense it is gonna have the same problem.
When I try to install the cab, it just says installation was not successful.Anyone else having this problem with the newer ROMs?

Have tried the newest 13th ROM from NRG and it does not let this sync with the server. It says that the device is not supported.

ok, this is just a wilda$$ guess...but isn't it desirable in some cases (like to correct MMS pic size issues) to have some agent ID in your registy other than what the phone actually is? Maybe possible that NRG bakes that in? Or, maybe it just only acceps a certain specific range of WM versions?

Ok, that's an idea, but what exactly could I do to change this? Plus, I am not sure what you mean about agentID. Just thought I would ask, cause I really hate not having this app.

It's a key somewhere in the registry that indicates what model of phone it is (independent of the IMEI), I believe it's used to identify it to the network for things like what size MMS files the phone can handle, etc...and I'm just surmising this becasue I recall that's where I saw the references to it. So, I would probably suggest looking in any threads related to MMS size issues, you'll probably see someone make a reference to a regedit or cab that makes that change, you can reverse-engineer the rest from there I guess.
I rarely go through any of the forum sections other than the rhodium boards and the Tmo HD2 section, so you can probably confine your search to those places if it helps. I'll keep my eyes open for it too.
Still no luck, sir phunkee. I am hoping that when I flash this newest NRG Rom, maybe I will have some luck, but to be honest, I am kinda tired of flashing his new ROM's cuz, they are "supposedly" faster or better, etc.
We will see, but hopefully someone will have a cab or link that could lead me somewhere.

I get this error when I set up a new project...I didnt even touch the project yet...every new project starts of and is created with this error. I would really like to get back to my work!!!! did you import something recently??? check your import at the top of the java file.. remove all imported "R's" that do not belong in the same package, then click "Project" and select "Clean"..
I had MAJOR problems with this and Eclipse. Cleaned project, deleted gen folder, re-started program multiple times and it was still happening. Started to effect my productivity.
Switched to Intellij Idea and have not had one problem with this.

Ive seen alot of people have been using Eclipse and ive always thought that IntelliJ is a far better and integrated IDE. the code complete and all the refactoring is amazing.

its a known issue with Eclipse.
when you get the error message, just go to the top of your project hierarchy, right click and choose refresh.
this generally works for me.
another way to deal with this issue is to go get the R.java file (which believe me ITS THERE) and delete manually. then rebuild.

Thanks everyone! The error is there for brand new projects, just created, nothing done to them at all. My android development has been severely crippled due to this....nothing found on google works for me, deleting the R.java file wont work, freshly reinstalling everything wont work, refreshing, rebuilding and anything else suggested has not worked....my heart is broken.....
Have your tried more then one version of eclipse? Have you checked your java installation? Path environment variable? Reinstalled android sdk and adt plugin?

I have reinstalled the sdk...twice. Still same results, however I havent tried other versions of eclipse...I will try this route, thank you!
You'll miss a couple of things in Eclipse vs Intellij Community, but it's FREE and you'll never be troubled by the R.java problem again. Takes a day or 2 to get used to their color coding and code completion, but you'll soon appreciate the time spent. NOTE: I have no affiliation with the company
One thing I really miss in Intellij (or haven't found it) is hovering over or clicking a method and getting shown all the parameters and overloaded methods available.

Thanks, I will try this when I get off work!! I love android development and haven't been able to do anything for weeks because of this. Is Intellij better then NetBeans?
Never tried NetBeans...didn't like the name. But, that's just me
Yeah, I don't know what the issue is with Eclipse..I've done all the steps indicated in this thread and even have wiped-out complete xml files and re-typed them in. It was still happening and I just couldn't handle it anymore.

Hey...you have given me the best solution I could hope to find! Thanks!! Your right or will take a boy to get used yo the colors but this is it! Eclipse has been blocked out by an Intellij Idea!!! Thanks again and again....I scoured Google with no results! Thanks for showing me the light!!!!
