Installing Adroid on devices has been discussed multiple times here. Please use the search function at the top right of this screen with keyword "Android". That will get some results for you. Please post in those threads. If you have further needs about the specific device post in that device forum. Always search before posting and when in doubt Dont start new threads.

I doubt there'll be an answer in this forum as the k750 is neither HTC nor WM based.
That means drivers etc are going to be rare, and a working Android kernel would be even harder to find...

Sure, http://teavuihuang.com/android/

Oh, again you!
What next? Install Vista to k750i? Or Ubuntu k750i Edition?
Thats fine.
Mod Edit: Now, now, play nicely

You seem to be new to the forums. Thank you for joining XDA-Developers.
Please take a minute to go over the Rules and Regulations of the forum.
Also, it seems that you are a Blue Angel owner, in which case I will encourage you to go over the BA forum regulations here
For questions, please use the search function in the site or simply Google for an answer. More than likely, your question has probably been answered before and the answer is floating around somewhere in the site. That being said, unless you are contributing to the site with either skins, roms, ports, new applications, programs, games, etc., please do not open new threads. However, if you do have questions, you can post them either in the BA Q&A section or in the General Q&A section.
This thread will be closed and your post will be moved to the Q&A section of the BA forum.
Thanks.

I doubt it will work on a QVGA device as the omnia is probably WVGA, a very different screen resolution.
Well, if you ask whether is possible or not, I would say its possible. But no one port it.
By the way, the easiest way is to install Spb Mobile Shell.

So, basically you are just looking for the background, top and bottom colored bars, and possibly the icons? And just to be completely sure, you are not looking for the widgets engine from the Omnia, am I correct?
If I am correct, then you may want to direct your search to this thread. You may find something in there. Alternatively, you can use the search engine of the site in the Development and Hacking section. Do not open a new thread there asking for stuff or else your thread will be moved to the Q&A section.
Now, if what you are looking for is indeed the widgets engine, then you may want to look for something called FEWidgets, which in essence is a flash Today plugin application that uses widget apps made by some of the site's devs.
Netsurfz is right though. No one has bothered porting the UI (at least not that I am aware of). I guess it isn't cool enough for some people
Hopefully, this will help...

what you could try is:

Didn't know we had so many comedians here on XDA, have any of you thought about trying out for Last Comic Standing?
Did you catch a hint of sarcasm, you sure did!
Should the OP have used search, yes. Should the OP take a look at the XDA homepage from time to time, sure. But really, whats the point in replying if you have nothing to contribute of value. Reply #4, even though it was blunt and could be read in a not so pleasant tone, still offered a valid answer and link without leading the OP down the path to a possible brick. Everything other reply was useless. Go ahead, flame me all you want, I don't give a ____.
To the OP, no, there is not a direct port of Android in any flavor for the HD2, or any other WinMo based phone for that matter. Yet. This doesn't mean it won't be possible, amazing things have happened here on XDA since I joined in 2007. There are options though, keep watching this thread as there are currently 6 known working HTC WinMo devices that can run Android via a WinMo app called haret.

I think there's more than 6 winmo devices that can run android through haret. But otherwise, you're completely right.
I don't think a lot of the people on these forums asking for android on HD2 understand the fact that there has been no perfect android port for any winmo devices, yet. I've noticed there's a lot of new winmo users on these hd2 forums who think that a port should come soon and they will be able to install/flash it and have a perfectly working android phone. I've even heard people say they bought the hd2 anticipating an android port.
It doesn't work like that. It never has. These ports take time. They are very buggy at first, and even when they iron out the bugs, it is still not fully functional. It will probably be years before we have a port that can use bluetooth, wifi, camera, sensors, etc.
If you want to use android full-time as your main phone os, get an android phone. It's great when we can boot into android when you want and use some android apps, but it's going to be a very long time before its functional enough to want to use full-time. If you want to have a hd2 and make full use of its features, your gonna have to use winmo. A bootable android will be a great feature and fun thing to play with, but thats all its going to be good for for a long time.... something to play with. I dont think theres been a fully functional port to a winmo phone, yet.
So to the people waiting for android on your hd2... be patient, and dont expect a fully working version anytime soon.

i just asked if it was possible to run the android from htc touch pro 2 on our touch 2
Well, if you insist THAT much and really don't want to click link, the answer is NO for the HTC MEGA/Touch 2 but we sure hope it will happen someday.
For the Touch Pro 2, I don't know...
This thread made me laugh out loud. Thank you.
ps. good luck with Android, and nice work with your stuff so far. Much appreciated.

ps. I have not asked about installing an android rom
I have asked if it is possible to install android ON THE ROM of the device
and well if you have seen this question asked and answered before please kindly provide me with the link .. I will be grateful .. thanks
You're not the only one with this question. I've searched and searched for an answer but hopeless... Either I don't know how to search (which I doubt) or search engine works in really weird way.
Anyway, my question is: can you delete windows (or maybe leave it) and install android on your phone memory?

ok, to be honest, it's hard for newbies to click a sticky titled "nand updates." they don't even know what nand means. but if the OP tried to browse the q&a subforums i'm sure he would've found a thread like this.

How does Darkstone's SuperRAM build help a guy asking how to flash a build onto the ROM?
I think there should be something at the very top of the first sticky that says something in big bold and colourful letters, like "Android ROM flashing is not available. Please search for NAND for further info"
Let's face it, you'd never think to search for the word NAND if you were looking for the same thing as the OP, unless you've spent time on the forums and already know about it.

Thats true ... never knew the the term nand until i was told to search for it in post 5. . Anyways ... if somebody does come here searching for android on ROM ..
There are people working on putting android on ROM .. but that thread is strictly for devs. The thing is this. Android on ROM (aka NAND) is actually NOT faster than android on the sd card. At this point when android on a win mobile is really buggy ..its also for your own good that you stick to loading windows then booting to android. If in case anything happens to the android installation then atleast you would have your windows installation. 2 days after my first post I am running android installed on my sd card on my hd2. There are no lags and everything is working, although its a bit buggy .. like the in call volume keeps increasing and dropping but i think its gonna be fixed pretty soon. After going through atleast 4 different versions of win rom and an android rom, here is what i found to be the most stable
ChuckyROM with radio 2.15
cyanogenmod for hd2 v0.34
its working nicely and there are no animation lags , video plays properly and music is good too .. its a little buggy but nothing too alarming ...
and all this thanks to ultramag69 who atleast set me off searching in the right direction
