A2DP BT Patch

Where can i find the A2DP BT patch for magician,

Does this CAB work on the orange (out-the-box stock ROM) M500?
I have tried but it does nothing?!?

I installed it on my M500 when I had it but never got around to using it.

thanks but it looks like there is no new version yet, just a description of bug fixes (no CAB).
I tried the original patch, which even though it installs and runs, I can't pipe any audio to my H3 headset, which I'm beginning think does not work for BT audio streaming.

it doesnt work with mono BT headset ...
Has anyone try the bluesoil Stack? does it have headset profile?
I really want every BT headset to have A2DP profile, even the one side one....

a2dp already in universal (dopod 900)
I have been using the dopod 900 a2dp lsiten to music (mp3), radio (through GPRS), voice command (not quite accurate) and phoning by pressing the BT headphone once.

I can only transfer audio but it is not stereo.
All you need is to change the registry.
hklm\software\oem\voicecommand and set the value of "launchapenable" from 1 to 0

AVRCP works only in WMP with Nokia HS-12W. Anyone has idea how to make it work for other players?
A2DP has some registry hack software somewhere in this forum, please search for it, cannot remember which link. With this hack, it works well with Universal + Nokia HS-12W and maybe also someother Stereo BT Headset.

A2DP only requires changing registry?

How can I know the BT version on Dopod 838 (aka wizzard)

Dear all,
I know that Microsoft is developing WM5 AKU2 which will include A2DP protocol; however I just can't wait for it. I saw many BT providers like Widcomm, BlueSoleil had released the A2DP stack. How can I know the BT version used on wizzard, so I can try those stacks. Many thanks in advance.

unfortunaitly those will not work on wm5, they only work on wm2003.

if you go into bluetooth settings you will only have three buttons at the moment, "Mode,Devices,COM Ports" you have got bt v1.2
one thing to watch out for also, is that some of the new bt headset's with a2dp with not work with voice dial, you can answer or hangup from headset, but you have to dial from the phone.
I think this is because the headset is able to be used for AVRCP (Audio Video Remote Control Profile).
(but i may be wrong)

Bluetooth Headset - no music

Hello @ all
I get a new Headset from Sony DR-BT20NX.
It works nice with the telephone, but now I also want to play my music.
I tried to install the cab from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=263735
But only the Bluetooth headset has a new entry in the Bluetooth-device-folder.
"Wireless stereo"
But nothing happend.
I did softreset, and on/off and so on...
But I have the feeling, that something is missing.
And what is AKU2, and where can I get it for my XDA NEO with german O2-properties

Download VjVolubilis application, and install on the device. After turning BT on, press the AGOn icon and the audio output will be transferred to the BT headset.
NB. For me only works if Volubilis is installed on device not on storage card. My headset is Motorola H500.

The tool is great,
but no way to enable Audio-Gateway.
When I click on it, it takes a while and then the message appears:
- Bluetooth On
- AG Audio failed
Maybe, there is something missing on my device???

I really don't know why it is not working for you.
The only thing that comes to mind is either headset incompatibility, or the fact that I had added a2dp to my AKU2.0 Rom before installing VjVolubilis.
Maybe you can try to install a2dp if not already installed.

I don't think it is related to a2dp. I was using VjVolubilis for Skype calls without any problems long before I installed a2dp on my AKU2 rom... Maybe its a hardware problem?...

I have tested this. You just need to go into the bluetooth preferences for your device, enable 'headset' and disable 'wireless stereo'. The sound quality is terrible in comparison to the A2DP module. Don't expect music out of it.

BCHS or Widcomm for Trinity for audio -> BT Headset

It looks like BCHS is an add-on for the MS stack , but why doesn't it work? It has posissibilities to redirect sound to a headset and to select that all audio has to that device.
I tried BCHS107.ARMV4_mod.cab and bchs_for_pocket_pc_ozone.armv4.cab, the last one gives me a white screen after restarting.
Anyway .. if widcomm stack doesn't work, why not trying this one? Or am I too simple ??
I'm looking for something that I can still use Voice Dail and that it's possible to switch all audio (= for example WMP) to my Jabra headset.
I know all the keys to make Voice Dail work (works no standard in mUn 2.0 SE = WM6). I know it's possible to hack and stream all audio to my headset, but this switching isn't that userfriendly ...
Can someone plz help me to get this work done?

The p3600 allready has the A2DP profile on it with Bluetooth 1.2 or2.0 you can send audio to A stereo headset ---only stereo headset---- and than all sound wil go to the headset.
