Data not restroring!!! - Wing, P4350 General

When my Wing(Herald) waas in perfect condition with all the software i needed, i performed a full system backup using HTC Backup 3.1. Then when i was experimenting around, i screwed up with some things, so i thought i'll just Hard reset and then restore the backup. But when i did hard reset and downloaded the utitlity again and went to the backup file it started to restore the data, but at 2% is just stopped and performed a soft reset, and noone of my prgrams returned. What can i do to restore my data???????

Phone did a factory reset after being turned off following crash - help please!!

I've had the MARY ROM running on my Orange M700 for 2/3 months now but I expect this problem isn't ROM-related. It's been fairly stable, but occassionally crashes.
It crashed yesterday morning so I turned it off (should have soft rest really but brain was still asleep). When i turned it back on it has done a factory reset!!! Fortunately I have contacts backed up but not everything.
Long shot: is there any way to get it back to how it was?
How can I make sure this never happens again?
Really grateful for any help.
first: you have to setup it manually, but you could buy additional backup software. i recommend spb backup. it has the feature to make backups of the entire internal storage to sd card. i have it configured to make a full backup every night at 4:00 am and it makes backup for the past 7 days. all older backups will be deleted automatically. i test it with hard reset and restoring the backup. you can make .exe for backup, so you don't need install the app for restore. after restore, everything is like before. give it a shot.
second: never trust an electronic device. in short: you can't make sure, that this will never happens again, so use backups for your important data.
OK, thanks for your advice. I had my contacts backed up fortunately but that all-in-one backup sounds really good. I'll look into it...

Hard reset

Would doing a hard reset and restoring stuff via titanium backup pretty much bring back the problems from before the reset?

[Q] Factory Reset Q's

My tpt has been acting a little flaky. So, I am thinking a factory reset is in order. But, I don't want to have to set everything up again from scratch. So, I was wondering what would be the best way to backup apps and homescreen config data?
I've done a Titanium Backup of all user apps and system data. But, I'm worried that restoring system data might bring back whatever is causing my current flakiness.
Also, if the factory reset destroys all data on the TPT, how do I save the Titanium data for restoration? Can I copy the Titanium Backup folder to an SD or PC, and restore from there after reset?
Should I temporarily unroot using RK before reset?
I assume I will have to download and re-install RK, TB, and SU after reset. I'm just worried that if my current issue of the Play Store not being able to DL apps isn't fixed by the reset, I'll be screwed.
TIA

[Q] Problem restoring backup

I tried a new rom (http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...galaxy-s5-stock-rom-final-fast-clean-t2888215) for the first time and it wouldn't work properly (no mobile connection, menu and back buttons didn't work, etc.)
When I restored my backup, I did it like I always did on my last phone: wipe data/cache/davlik cache, restore backup, reboot.
I can't get past multiple notifications that process.google.gapps (might not be exactly what it said) has stopped, and I can't do anything but pull my battery and try another ROM.

Help With Backup - Urgent

hi guys,
so i was trying to clear the phone's cache for some gallery cache problems... anyway long story short from the recovery menu of TWRP (the external one) i chose "wipe" by mistake and that included data+dalvik+cache and the phone reverted back to original settings which sucks.
Now i have a GOOD backup of EVERYTHING (which i did 1 week ago) with the same TWRP and i tried to restore that one right away - but when the phone restarts there's quite a few apps errors, gmail apps, etc etc... and it seems i dont have root anymore.
I previously restored that backup and it was perfect, - although i didnt wipe the data first - it was because installed exposed and the phone went in bootloop, restored backup, put up proper version and all was good.
Anyway what's the best way to have my backup to work properly in this situation? hopefully there's a simple way.
many thanks,
Gabrio
Seems i managed to find the "way out" - i restored yet again the same backup but before restarting phone after restoring, i did a "fix permission + wipe cache + wipe dalvik cache" - That seems to have worked! phewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
that should be it right?????
