Can you please help me? I have an IPAQ 614c but the OS is in Italian and i want to change it into English.
I've tried already with the latest FW ver on the support page at HP (English) with successful upgrade but the issue
is still the same.
Is there any World Wide ROM for this model? I'll appreciate if you provide me such one. Otherwise i'll be not able to use the device sad.gif

Hi,
I think you can backup the english version and share it
I can do so with the Italian if someone needs it.
There are two options i think, the one is to make a key boot combination and to save the ROM on a SD and the other one is with a utility but for this somebody else has to share his experience.
Hello Stanimir,I've the genuine english rom if you want for you,you have to install from sd card.I need of your italian rom fom my Ipaq.Could you please share me and I will share to you the english?

Official EN rom. Windows Pro 6.0.
Dont forget to make the HP update, this rom is very old.

Hi!!! our problem is that we want to charge my Spanish ROM on to another 2020i that has WWE ROM with an SD backup of my ROM so we find the language problem and we can´t solve it with MaupgradeUT because it´s and SD backup.........

I also have a 6915.. Freakin phone doesn't even have a WINmo 6.1 rom stuck with winmo 5.0... damn!
I got a German hw6915 and would like to change the language to English. I read that it should be possible to backup an English ROM and flash it to my iPAQ.

English ROM
Thanks for everyone and in particular, commanddos, Wikidork and Drathman. No thanks to HP Customer Support, I now have an English 6945 !!. I will keep trying to fix the radio stack, somebody has suggested that I insert a known working SIM card before upgrading the radio stack. I used the UK1.21 flash tools as suggested and it fixed the OS problem. I've included a zip file in here that will change to english and also included the french and spanish one if anyone needs them. If you want to load the Spanish one, rename the CEOS.nbf to CEOS.nbf.english and the CEOS.spanish to CEOS.nbf. Likewise for the French one. Sorry I dont have an Italian one, but I'm sure somebody can help here.
If anyone has any suggestions about the radio stack, please let me know. BTW It wont let me upload the zip file, so if you would like it, please drop me a line at [email protected] and I will send it to you personally. Its the least I can do for getting this working.

P.s. This will undoubtley damage the radio stack making the phone part inoperable until a radio fix is posted. I take no responsibily for the damage!!
