I have a T-Mobile wing that has error "data crashes".
I have tried to preform some updates to resolve this but is still an error.
Any ideas on where to go? I have the hard-spl on it. I thought that it must be the radio that is causing the issue.

I upgraded my pda with t mobile 4.01 beta rom then i was trying to get rid of it and upgrade to ATT latest rom. but it was not letting me to GET rid of it. SO i was trying many thing after doing them i saw that my pda`s phone feature is gone. then i installed RSU "PROGRAM B" SOURCEO2.com that is 4.0 something. I HAVE TRIED MANY THING BUT NO USE I HAVE ALSO DOWNGRADED TO WIN CD 2002
may be the att RSU will solve the problem. please tell me where to download it from.

Looks like you have the same Problem as i have. Check if your GSM-Module is still doing: You have to get into the Bootloader and check if it says "GSM OK" (then you are a lucky owner) or if it says "GSM Error" (then you´ve got the same problem as I´ve got). I downloaded the rsu for ATT from yorch.net and now its getting signals.
Only been happening recently, two different WLANs.
Is there a known issue about this?

I have the same on mine, but it says inccorect passkey, which its not???
Oh and by the way, what steps did you take to upgrade your G4 to WM6, i cannot, i've tried loads, keeps saying error 114: Radio Rom Update Error? sorry for different subject.

Whenever I try to upgrade my BA (ROM, Radio.....etc) I keep getting - Error 101: Connection Error and can't get any further!!!
Has anyone else had this issue? Is there a fix / work around??

Hello All,
I upgraded my EXEC to WM6 with the ROM of lucathebig. I did not upgrade the radio rom.
I don't know how it happened but, every time I switch it on, even without the sim card in, I can't access the phone settings! Or even the dialpad for that matter.
When I click on the signal icon, the balloon comes on but says "The phone is off"
When I tap settings nothing happens.
Please note that it was working a couple of days ago. I reset it to factory defaults but nothing happened.
Has anyone else got any suggestions? I will try to avoid flashing the ROM again and I'll keep it as the last option.
Update:
I noticed that there's no Radio version or IMEI on the system information on my phone so I figured that the radio got corrupted or something like that.
I tried to flash the Radio but i get the 114 error from the upgrade tool.
I tried all sorts of different upgrade tools with different radio version but none of it worked...
I am now downloading the official O2 update Xda_Exec_Upgrade_v113188.exe and try to install this instead to see if it fixes the Radio.
Has anyone found a solution for the 114 error? I have read tens of posts but can't seem to fins anything that helps. The people who solve it, use different versions of the update tools or they remove the USB hubs or try the upgrade 3 times.

I tried O2 update but the upgrade executable gave me a country ID error.
So I took the WM ROM and the Radio Rom from the zip file and tried to upgrade both but on the the WM ROM was updated. The Radio rom still gives me an error when I try to Flash...

Hi guys i have just bought a HD2 from ebay. It was supposedly locked to o2 in the UK which was fine as thats my network and i thought it would save any problems.
This is the first phone of this kind i have bought so i was completly green when it came to the roms etc. Having read a bit it appears my phone is unlocked as i get the HTC splash screen when it starts and not the o2 screen.
I have also checked the spl and its 1.42.0000.
So ok im guessing it being unlocked shouldn't be a problem but the 'get location' and weather features won't work. When i try them i get a 'there was a connection error while trying to download weather data'.
Also when i view wireless Controls i cannot activate data connection and when i try i get 'The answering modem has disconnected' warning.
Does anyone have any idea what causes this and should i consider installing HSPL and a modded rom or is it possible to install an o2 stock rom and would this correct these issues ?

Hard reset the phone, and let the phone install your wireless data settings.
Sounds like it's not setup for O2 properly.
