the original one is too colorful for me..
i've seen a beautiful blue gauge on smartphones..
i'm also looking for the Icons' font from smartphones.. it's a beautiful font.

Ok.. we all know how to change the color of the glossy bars on top and bottom.
Is it possible to change the color to white? I didnt find something only about changing to all the colors of the rainbow, but not white.
thx for help
its really not possible unless you change the battery graphics and stuff because they are all white...

mmhh.. yes i know that. but just basically, is it possible to change the color by - for example - another dword entry in the registry's basehue.
i know you can change it to silver or something..
I don't know what values are changed, but the installer name is "base hue fix". If you don't find it, you could always create a theme with the white bars. Spb has a free theme generator.
And this is kind of off topic but it has to do with theming, how do i get the 6.1 themes with the matte taskbar and the glossy bottom bars?

xml. actualy, there is a .provxml that changes the top bar to green for 6.1 I am trying to figure out how to change the color of that to black instead of green. I would use the ,provxml from diamond, however that also changes the bottom bar, and some of my programs rely on the botom bar (where the softkeys are) to remain uncovered. anybody?
We have a Diamond Background Changer which changes wallpaper according to time of the day. Would it be great also if we also have a wallpaper changer that can changes background according to battery life remaining?
Probably we can also 'remove' the battery indicator at the top taskbar (freeing up space for a cleaner look) if such an app is possible.
* Just a suggestion. I do not have any programming knowledge hence i don't know if this is even possible.
Thank you
Would you really install it and use it?
sure its, even quite "easy" to do, just adapt the mortscript from the daylight background changer, to take the batterystatus as input instead of the time...
i remember i saw some commands in the mortscript manual whic make it possible to read out battery status...
but on the other hand, why would you want it? you already have a battery indicator right on top of all things....
having a changing background to indicate status doesnt seem logical to me...
Well Ithink it would be very handy if the background would slowly change from green to red using backgrounds in according colours...
i think it's a great idea.
of course i would use it, haha. I have to admit that i'm an app / rom junkie.
Anyway i was thinking if it would be great to remove the whole top and bottom taskbars for a totally 'windowmobileless' look. BUt to do that we need something to replace the battery/ network/ connection/ sound indicators.
The Quickstart menu shouldn't be a problem as i have high hopes for 'touchlaunch'
I actually think this is not a bad idea at all. If you look at some of the colour battery icons, this kind of makes sense. The moment your phone is activated for whatever reason, you can immediately see that status of the battery, without having to look at the (rather small) icon on the taskbar
Hence.. Hello to developers.. any takers?
Great idea, I would use it too! We could add a corresponding battery symbol on each wallpaper, like in S2U2 but smaller
Cool idea, I think also if the wallpaper could change based on the weather that would be really cool.
Ok, I'm using the default HTC theme (*.tsk - attached), the only problem is that the bars arent 3d. does anyone have a version that looks the same, but with black 3d bars?
so essentially, all that is needed is for the bars to be changed to 3d

without screenshots I have no idea what you're actually after.
also, you already started a thread about this. this new one is clutter.
the first (screen08) and second (screen09) pic is what it looks like (flat)
the third (black_3d) pic is what i want it to look like (3d)
the catch is that there are settings in the registry... (screen08)
It very easy. Search for an executable called Glossy Black Bars. After running it, you will have the 3d bars.
By the way, it is off topic if you don't mind, how can you get the percentage of the battery showing on the top bar next to the original battery icon? Just like the third screenshot. Thanks
Run a search for ThemeGenCE and you can make your own themes... No reg edits either.....
ive tried both. neither worked
theme gen doesnt open it because it is a newer version of a theme
btw, it is a wm6.1 theme
im pretty sure the battery thing is default when enabled via registry
got it...
removed the flattile bits in the registry
Its possible to do the same thing, but with white or silver colors? I have only che originale themes, with the bar in black, red, green or blue...
where can i found the -white Sprint clock & icons
in below ROM
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=458788
it's really nice and beautiful.
any one???????
Can someone help please?
I've gone through that big list, but it only has the sprite coloured icons and not the white one. Damnnnnnn....
Here you go =)
I noticed that under setting> Home> Display clock in taskbar, that this give you option of having ONLY your digital clock "OR" your battery icon. Not both.
Without installing something like battclock, etc, Is there a way to make both the clock and batter to be present but not overlapping?
Thanks.
Battclock seems to be the only way.

i refuse to use it because the background is not able to go transparent. its always some solid color. And plus, it uses more RAM.
rebump 10char
Does anyone know if SPB PocketPlus battery bar works on HD2? I used to use this on my TytnII, but I haven't tried it yet on my HD2.
personally im using the "Display clock in taskbar" option along with VistaHide Battery Gauge, so i got a nice little bar on the top of the screen showing the battery and the clock in the taskbar.
(it looks something like this)

lol. i only see the battery in the task bar. the clock isnt' the clock is on manila.
the vistahide battery meter suggestion is meaningful (as you can see in the screenshot) because the battery can now be represented by the 1-2 pixel line across the top of the screen, leaving the default battery meter free to be changed to the time/clock.
however, i understand your requirement because i am also searching for this solution. i remember back in the days of WM6.0 and WM6.1, the "display the clock on the title bar in all programs" worked a bit better. it would show battery when on the home screen (because your home screen might display a better and bigger clock) and it would show the clock when an application/program was in the foreground. i really miss that behavior in WM6.5, though WM6.5.x handles this situation a bit better if i remember correctly.
the link on my previous post, is just the vistahide battery gauge ofc.
i have attached the screen of my phone this time to check the whole thing.
the bar shows that i have more or less 50% battery left
i dont like the rainbow looks. is it possible to make the meter one solid color? anyone?
any solution to this guys?
