is anyone here to know how to reset call duration,, come on xda forum tell me,,,,, help
Go to Call History -> Menu -> Call Timers. There should be a reset button there to reset the timers for recent calls. HTH.
Or hard reset
Flash radio is the only way to reset ALL call timers.

I'm afraid that resetting all call timers in Device Info is not possible even if you flash a new radio or even a complete rom.

To reset the Recent Calls counter, tap Menu > Call Timers > Reset. The All Calls counter cannot be reset.

Hi,
is there now a solution to reset the call duration on xda orbit 2 out now?
Kindly Regards
Puky70
check this out
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=386084
Which one? The first page of the same thread?
As of now i don't think thats possible, someone tried doing the mtty command in the Kaiser forum and messed up his handset,my suggestion is to leave it alone and not to experiment.Eventually there will be someone who will figure out how to do it.
There s no option for windows mobile systems.
The only solution is: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=2142073&postcount=10.
Works 100%!
Ok guys, here is a dirty trick that worked on older devices and not sure if it doesn't on newer ones.

Yes, but the trick is NOT to reset the device after modifying the registry. That's quite unexpected from my point of view. That part is mentioned in the thread I pointed to.
Everybody try Axii_Wi_Fifix.cab. Really 100% works.

thanks everyone for all your help
BTW, another solution for some of you may be to use a different ROM. I'm using Topaz Essentials 1.6 ROM (TESS1.6) from chef Aman, and this ROM doesn't have the wifi turning off problem.

It only works (worked for me) if you do the followings:
make the changes in reg:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\BCMSDDHD1\Parms]
"HTCKeepWifiOnWhenUnattended"=dword:00000001
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\TNETW12511\Parms]
"HTCKeepWifiOnWhenUnattended"=dword:00000001
as mentioned here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=524490
But if you reset your device you will have to re do it again
So, we really need a little cap with on/off
Hi guys,
after flashing and reflashing i saw that the life time was untouch... So now i need to know if there is a trick, software o reg key that can reset my HD2 life time...
I've 5h incoming call and 21h outgoing call, i want to reset this values and set to 0!
Somebody can help me please?
Thanks to all!
May I ask why you would reset the timer?
Maybe he needs to sell it, or he doesn't want his wife to know he's talking to his mistress all the time. Who cares? xD
True, just curious
But it's enough with one thread, this forum is cluttered already.

Really? My kaiser carried the call timers over past OS and radio ROM flashes.

I believe he is - and to be honest I would love that option myself, or if not a second set of timers which can indeed be reset.

Hi!
I did a diff between two backups of my registry because last week I started having problems with my bluetooth headset.
And by hasard, I found this registry folder:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Shell\CumulativeCallTimers\Line_0]
There are entries like OutgoingVoiceCurrentNumCalls, OutgoingVoicePhoneLifeTime and AllPhoneLifeTime and they increased from one backup to another.
I have no reason to touch them, but maybe you want to try or search a little more about those entries.
Edit: Weird! Somehow, the forum insert a space in the name of the registry folder, but the space is not here when I edit the post. Anyway, just ignore the space in the "cumulative" above.
Anyone tested that? Would it work also on other devices?

If the answer above does not work ......................
Have you flashed a custom rom? I would put the phone into bootloader (press and hold down the lower volume key and then push the reset button with a pen to get the tri colour screen. You need the battery cover off to access the reset button.)
Then flash a stock rom suitable for your device.
I had this issue once, are you using Sprite Backup to restore your phone data? If you do, please dont use Sprite backup anymore, use another apps like PIM backup or SPB backup.
Today setting
I had this issue before. Check whether the below setting is enabled.
Start > Settings > Menu > All Settings > Today > Items
The setting "Today timeout", at the bottom left hand corner,
should not be selected/enabled.
i also have this problem before if the following requirements are met:
1) Over 1000 SMS on the phone, very oftenly the phone will not wake up after a notification, will not wake up out of no reason, will not wake up after a missed call
2) when the facebook app is updating the contact details (I have only 40+ linked contacts but it still lags the phone during update). Not often.
I am on stock 1.66 non-tweak
I also have this issue. Stock 1.66 rom.
Have 1000+ SMS.
Phone does lag when facebook app is updating contacts.
Just tried disabling today timeout as suggested. Will see what happens.
To the OP,
Search for a thread called "HD2 died.. or did it". You will find answers in there that will help you.

using sprite backup, probably you're also restoring those settings that screw up the phone
That's why you would be better off not using it... and isntead configure and save your preferred system with SASHIMI by bengalih

Sprite Backup doesnt work so well with some cooked Roms and It took me few days to figure out what happened to my phone, I like the way Sprite Backup does but totally not the way it affected my phone.
AND...please note this, trying remove your battery many times when your phone is still on may damage your phone's hardwares and trust me, it happened to me and now I have to be sending my phone back to do a warranty.
Congratulations !!!

Thank you very much for all this informations. Concerning to me, i have solved my problem with a new configuration of the options of sprite backup. I changed "merge to" by "replace all". Congratulation it was actually the origin of this issue.
