Artemis - Roms - Live On My Site

Hello
Just to let you know that my website is finally gone live and that i am going to upload 4 roms that i currently have onto the website.
The structure of the site will be simple just navigate to roms folder and click to download.
It will be about 8pm before everything is uploaded properly.
PM me if you have ROMS that you can upload and i will then link them in onto the site.
If you have Extended Roms, tools anything for Artemis PM me and you can then upload them and i will then create the links for download.

Yes. WM-gurus is the exact copy of the ftp site of xda-developers, including all other files, and not only Artemis ROMs.

Can you give direct link to wm-gurus.com?

the www.our-xda.co.uk is now live
i still have 2 roms to uplooad but that takes half an hour each so will be done by tonight. all the extended roms are on there that were on the xda ftp site so if you have more roms/est rms etc pm me.

A really nice idea But is it wise to launch a website, containing ROMs when XDA Developer.com just received mails from Microsoft, forbidding them to host any ROMs containing Microsoft Software? But apart from that, i really appreciate your work, thanks!

i know but they need to first send me the emails for me to take them off so until then lets enjoy!!! at least we will have a source for the ROMS as we are all struggling to find them....

yes that would be beneficial i am not a web designer just a pharmacist with an interest in xda's and a little knowledge of hosting so anyhelp will be a great help. thanks.
PS Re blue angel roms, i dont have any at the moment, are they still available on the ftp?

whilst this isnt an iphone killer application, it still transforms my tired old o2 into a new device.
it has some very cool features. gone are the days of the stylus - you dont need it.
however in saying that there are still a few bugs to sort out. but honestly people, i would recommend everyone trying it out.

PointUI doesn#t work on ROM 2.03TX?!?

I have Taxist´s ROM 2.03 TX installed on my Magician. I downloaded Home Point UI, couldn´t install it from PC, put it in the Storage of my machine, but it doesn´t work! What is my mistake? Or have i to load another program (without "Home" in the title=? And if, where do i find a download link? Many questions at one time, i know, but Please help me!!! Thank you !

BTW, i get GPRS-connection problem in PointUI.. it cannot connect... is it only by me?

Read the first post on PointUI forum

I installed it (on march,1st ) in the main storage of my device, and it works! I think it´s the place, not the date

Works fine with my WWE 2.03 TX ROM. Only some texts like the date are crapped because they are displayed in russian language by the pda.
Edit: Solved by editing the regional settings!

You have to copy the folder to your pda device. The application can be started there.

hey thanks you guys,really appreciate this. i read the forum FAQ's and got through!!!

Theres a new version available, 1.51. But I think it´s only for wm 5/6

It seems they're changing their web pages. Looks like more aiming on commercial products. After all I hope they will continue developing the Home application for free and WIN2003 PPC compatible.

Free unlock solution tmobil shadow

HTC Juno Free Unlock
I Just Found a very easy way to unlock HTC juno also known as Tmobil-Shadow
I have uploaded all the needed file in the attachment. Just Follow the instruction in the txt file that comes with the appliction. and I hope that it will work for you.
At first the program was not disigned for HTC Juno but it really works with it!!!!!

Try to do that and the file bkondisk disabled the connection between the pc and the shadow trhough active sync. it mess the whole phone up and never made any file, I had to do a hard reset to get it back on.

I have already unlock more than 7 HTC juno with this method and what you need to do first is desable the security lock by running xda security removal and than after that copy the file to your sd card or in the device, i can assure you that it works perfectely.

File search
You will find them in your documents folder, Otherwise try to unhide the hidden files from the folder option, But if you have a data card copy the exe file and rtry to run it from there.

the Hxd gives me more than 8 numbers, in the 0X0400F0 line says 56309360 and in the 0X040100 line says 25. the question is which numbers should i use?

I called T-Mobile thousand times and ask them to provide me with the unlock code, but their response was my IMEI# doesn't exist in their database.
Now, with the solution you provide, I unlock the sim. However, my situation was a bit different from the instruction. I use the first 8 digits of "000400F0", instead of the last 4 digits of "000400F0" and first 4 digits of "00040100" as described in the instruction. Hope this would help someone who encounter same problem as I had!!

Softer boot-up sound

I've edited the sound that we hear at boot-up to make it softer (I have an automatic restart in the night and I don't want to wake me up hearing my phone booting)
HOW TO USE:
Download it
Make a backup of \windows\BootUpHTC.wav if you want to restore the original file
Copy my file it in the \windows directory (overwrite original)

Other person have downloaded the file, so it's not a problem related to my rapidshare account, I think.

Uh! Different situation, but we return to the main problem: I see 6 downloads of the file (from other users, I think), and I'm able to download myself the file... I don't know how to help you.
Anyway, take a look at the attachment!

Does anyone have ANY Rom for the HTC 8525/Herm100/Hermes?

I realize it's 2021.
This is my first ever smartphone and I recently found a used one on ebay for like $20. I bought it for the nostalgia, can you blame me?
I would really like to get something other than WinMo 5 on it. Ideally 6.1 since I know those were the most stable. But all of the links are dead--I've searched dozens of threads so far. Does ANYONE happen to have a link or a copy of one of the flashable ROMs left?

I was in the same situation as you for a while - it took years of on and off searching in order to find it, I even made some posts here under my old username (F84Win), forgot my password for that one though. Eventually a couple years ago I was able to track down the official WinMo 6.0 update thanks to me actually thinking about the best way to find it. It's RUU_Hermes_CINGULAR_WWE_3.62.502.3_6275_1.54.07.00_108_UOOS_SVN05_Ship.exe and a bunch of websites have re-uploaded it, so it shouldn't take more than a quick Google search of that filename to locate it. Unfortunately I wasn't able to find any custom 6.1 or 6.5 ROMs with working links, but this'll at least get you up to 6.0.
EDIT: Someone on Reddit also found a Mega upload full of custom ROMs a few days ago, you might be able to find something interesting in there (Schap's 4.30, for example).
