Like topic says, the d-pad shortcuts (right, down) for call list just stopped working? Actually d-pad stopped working completely on the phone dialer screen. I used it yesterday and now for some reason it just won't work? Is it possible that I have changed a setting somewhere? It feels like, and I am not certain but it feels like the phone display was green yesterday but blue today. Using pocketbreeze and wisbar advance if that helps.
Thank's in advance guys.
Nobody can tell me why my d-pad stopped working on the dialer screen?
I know that something happened because I am pretty sure screen used to be gree and now for some reason it's blue.
I hope somebody can help me because it annoys me a lot. I use the call list quite a bit in my work situation.
I need some help guys. I loaded Omega One Battery Pack Pro on my 8525. All things considered, I am pretty happy with it. However, I do need some help with the home screen with the following issues (simple fixes please). I have played with it for a couple days and I can not seem to figure these issue out for myself.
1) I am looking for larger icons and maybe some text to indicate what the icons stand for.
2) The clock I now have is very tiny and so close to the "X" button that it gets accidentally pushed when I push the "x "button.
3) When I scroll down to the bottom stop the unit frezzes up and requires a soft boot.
4) If I choose to use the enter search here option for the URL the keyboard overlays on top of the URL enter search here screen and I can not see what I am typing.
Any help would be appreciated.
I've done a search in both the Leo forums as well as xda in general and can't see a solution for my problem:
I am unable to scroll within excel mobile. Whenever I drag my finger across the screen it selects cells rather than scrolling. This isn't a problem if I wish to move up and down as the vertical scroll bar is visible and can be used. However, the horizontal scroll bar doesn't display even though it is selected in the menu.
Can anyone suggest what I can do to fix this? Thanks in advance.
bump
can anyone help?
When you open Excel, click on the right side of the screen (= scroll bar) and the scroll-button will appear. Use that to scroll up and down. The same goes for the horizontal scroll bar (well, it's on the bottom of the Excel screen and you scroll from left to right ;-)). Should be there, otherwise I wouldn't know.
Thanks for the reply but unfortunately the horizontal scroll bar isn't visible on the screen, even though when I go into view -> show the horizontal scroll bar checkbox is ticked.
The vertical scroll bar also works like a "normal" scroll bar in that the scrolling part is always the same size; it doesn't increase in size when the scroll bar is tapped on. However, I seem to remember that's how it used to work when I first got the phone, so perhaps in all the various tweaks and things I've done since I've unwittingly edited something that is affecting it?!
Oh well.
You're not in full screen mode are you?
And have you tried opening a new document?
No not in full screen mode, and I have opened various different (existing) spreadsheets, and tried creating a new one and the same thing happens in all of them.
I've solved the problem. A little look into HD2Tweak and I spotted an option for horizontal scroll bar which was set to none. I changed it to normal and a quick soft reset later and I was able to see the horizontal scroll bar again; not just in Excel but other apps too.
I don't remember switching it to none, but am just glad it's working again now!
To start, I've installed BsB Tweaks, Co0kies Home Tab and Opera 10.
Once and awhile the notification bar will remain what program I was just in. For example, if I'm in the main Notification screen and go back to home, it will still say Notifications up top. Conversely, if I just exited Opera or Home Tab editor, those title bars will be up there, rather than the main notification bar. The only way I've found to get it back is to shut the phone down and restart it. Restarting Sense doesn't bring it back. I did a soft reset last night and it's done it once already today.
Any thoughts? I've searched quite a bit as I don't like to post if the question has already been answered.
TIA.

I think its Opera 10. I didn't have that happen prior to installing it, but I've not tweaked or installed anything since.
I've noticed it doesn't like being minimised either, causing Sense to lag into life, whereas every other prog I have is fine.
Rather than using soft keys, a rather elegant and simple solution would be to use gestures to emulate the missing hardware buttons. You could have a program that runs in the background and attempts to detect a 3-finger swipe for "back" and perhaps a 4-finger tap for the "menu". This method would even work for full-screen apps. Does such an app exist?
Currently the software on the nook only recognizes two fingers, so those specific gestures are out for now.
However I saw someone mention that running your finger right to left across the status bar in 1.2 stock works as a "back" gesture

Well, I'm talking about a general Android app running on a rooted NC and not the preloaded software. It would have to be a low-level program that would intercept all touch-screen activity and detect if any of the selected gestures were performed. If not, then pass the touchscreen activity to the currently running app.

It was that way in the older versions too. Pretty cool trick.
After Murdock's mod, softkeys are pretty nice.
there is an app called zmooth on the market.
zmooth rocks! Been using it for a while. Just made is very slim, and I put it on the bottom of the screen. Works great!

Funny thing is, that's in the manual
And it works for any non-full screen app on stock. I use Zeam on stock (never touch the home launcher), but the B&N status bar is always there anyway. As long as it's not full screen, you can use the right-to-left swipe to go back.
