ALL MY CONTACT (outlook) is lost did a system restore and no luck where did they all go? anyone had this problem?
PLEASE CAN ANYONE TELL ME if there is anyway to recover these data from my mobile !!!! Any place where these deleted items could be retrieved from ?Any recovery tool that i could use ???
PS: I have not performed any soft or hard reset of my mobile yet...

You could use a data recovering program? Or do you want to get them off your mobile, are they already on your mobile?
I'm not sure what you are asking.
Either - You did a system restore on your pc and lost your outlook contacts, in which case you should sync your mobile with the pc to get them back.
Or - You did some sort of restore on your mobile and lost your contacts from there, in which case you should sync your mobile with your pc to get them back.
I will love to get them off my mobile or my pc I sync it and all way GONE.
I updated my contact list then i sync it and "WHAM" all gone..
what software do i need to get back ALL my contacts

I am a BA owner..and so I try to help a friend with a magician..but "playing" with it I erased the outlook contacts while sincronicyng So I get the .stg file to restore on device the database and after to sync to PC.. it restore all BUT contacts..activesync say is in use! So I deleted IA_contacts from startup folder, nothing! I even tryed with STW viewer..I can see the contacts but no way to restore on device... HELP :shock: :? how can I restore my contacts? Thanks in advance
Solved with Vault...but still I dont understand why xbackup sucks...

I've got used i-mate Jam and when I configure it to store my contact-appointaments ecc.. in the ROM flash, the Jam bring me up the old user's contacts and other info!
I performed the ROM upgrade and the hard reset but I can't clean up all the data contained in to the ROM...
The only way that's possible is if you connect your phone to Active Sync before you hard reset and it's stored all the old details in Outlook. If you did the big storage hack or even just a hard reset without using backup software then there's no other way that data can be there.
Open Outlook on your PC and have a look at your contacts listing in there.

i hope you can help me. when i my xdaII hard reset, i used sprite backup to restore my xda to its last condition.. the problem is i when i view the outbox, drafts, and trash folders, it showed nothing just some "0k" at the right of the screen. but when you look at the folders, at the bottom it would say "0 Items, XX unread."
how can i resolve this??

Did you do a ROM upgrade? Were all databases backed up? Alot more info would be required to find out what went wrong. I suggest you log a question with Sprite tech support here

You had the sprite backup mess up your inbox. have to erase your mail and start it anew. it's all on sprite backup page..
use the latest version of the program

did not do a rom update, my xda hard reboot by itself... all database were backed up with no errors.. will log on to sprite thank you.

my inbox and sent messages are all good, the problem is with my drafts, outbox and trash folders...will try that after..
Dear Friends, I can see a lot of threads about HD backups, and I didn't want to start a new one, but my problem is different. Please help me, I'm unable to use any of the softwares mentioned because they need first to be installed in the mobile and I'm unable to do that!
The problem simply is that I installed a software cab and then tried to remove it. When I did so my mobile got freezed. I softrest it, after I enter the password, the mobile starts loading and gets freezed again. I made soft resting many times but no hope! So, I want to make hard rest, but before that I want to back up the data in my mobile.
Now as long as I don't put the password I can access my mobile data by ActiveSync. So I need a software that helps me to backup my data or at least my SMS (because other information can be backed up through ActiveSync) without me having me to install it in my mobile because as I said my mobile gets freezed after I put my password and I'm unable to confirm the installation in my mobile!
I do not how to completely back up your HD. But most of it you can do by going to your sync window and then clcik on the last icon which will give you a normal window with all you have on your HD. And from there you can copy everything to your PC

Thanks for your advice, I already did that for contacts and calender but it's not possible to backup SMS Messages by this method, and I have very important informations there that I didn't save.

Thanks for the help, but all these softwares need to be installed in the mobile and I'm unable to do that because the screen freezes as soon as it starts load after I put the password.

Hello guys, im looking for someone who can help me really.
I need someone who have already installed Windows Mobile Device Emulator and know how to work with it..
Because i try several hours and i cannot set up and understand it.
Here is the problem.
I change my device with Android one.. and i did some S off etc Updating ROM`s and etc and all my contacts was removed around 300 contacts from the SIM card.
SO i don`t have from where ot get them back But...
The good news still is that befor when i was with WinMo i use Pimbackup and i did a PimBackup.pib file...
So what is the point..
Now if someone want to help me its a job for a minute.
Just to run the PimBackup on the virtual machine and to restore the contacts from the pib file that i will provide.
After the contacts are restored the person need to do a back up again
but this time not binary one just plain Backup hen PIB can be changed to zip, and csv files from zip can be upload to gmail contacts.
