Auto start application problem...

Hi guys,
I installed Magic Buttons and Battery Manager 2 on my jam...
Well... the 2 apps works fine but if I make soft reset, a message box comes up because the Jam can't find the application exe file...
I'm trying to install both on SD and on default location the apps but the error is still present...
I see on the property of the shortcut and it seems to have the right path for the executable...
Any idea?

SD card isn't available instantly on boot up for some reason - many shortcuts to start programs from sd card on reset don't work well.
Only options - save to storage, somehow delay loading the program a few seconds after reset (I don't know if such an app exists, good idea to write one maybe?) or load the programs by hand. Nothing ideal so far!

O2 xda exec prower profile and taskmanager....

hello ppl.
i have ripped the above two applications from the o2 active ui suite and converted them to a stand alone cab....which can be installed even on the sd card....
about the applications......
powerprofile lets you manage your power consumption by switching on/off radio/wifi/irda/bt and altering screen brigtness and sound.....supports scheduled profiles
taskmanager is a manager which lets you see your running applications and quickly switch between them and also turn them off....in addition it can show you the running services at that time....
known bugs.....
1)during installation you get a msg that connection setting is not found....and the installation coplete screen is not shown
solu...after about half a min of this msg soft reset your device...
2)prog can not be uninstalled....when uninstaller is run it gives an error that program cannot be completely removed and offers you to remove it from the list
solu....accept to remove the prog from the list and manually remove the prog dir from the windows folder in the drive you chose to install it.

full memory - cannot make any action....

i install vitoaudionotes on my phone (without memory card)
with selected "auto calls recording". next day after restart, started windows mobile and i get window with "SIM code inserting" but on front this is another popup " STORAGE MEMORY IS CRITICALLY.......delete files...." with OK on right corner.
but i cannot make anything, all is freeze..

Have you tried a soft reset? Or perhaps trying to connect to your desktop pc to see if you can delete the files through AS? Otherwise I fear a hard reset is the only solution...

hi friend my name is joee i m frm india...i got i mate k-jam...(MDAvario) yesterde one of my friend handling my phone..he try to remove some unwanted file frm device to memory card..then he accidently move window folder to memory card..but its not transfered to it...n now i m not able 2 work on windows..i can make call only..but cant operate all window program..even i cant run a camera...the message i got on screen is"shortcut target- error opening the shortcut or locatind the target filename"....pls help me

Which were the files your friend thought were unwanted and transfered .Never transfer,remove or delete any files of which you are not sure what its related to.Transfer back all the files to their original location and do a 'Hard Reset' hope it'll work out,otherwise,if you have deleted any files,you'll have to Reflash the Rom again.

Best bet is to get into bootloader mode and load the default ROM from your phone service provider (AT&T, T-Mobile, etc.). You may lose your personal data, but you'll get back your PPC.

Device extremly slow[Solved]

Hi all,
When i used my device this morning i could not start messenger or any other program. The device is also unable to connect with active sync. I haven't got anything installed over the last days.
It just happend. Windows is extremly slow, i don't have contacts anymore, no pim's or anything. The phone did remeber my last calls and such. My email accounts are also missing.
I have done some soft resets and now the device is stuck on the windows mobile splash screen (the green screen with windows logo and name).
I don't know what to do How can i get my device to work again?

The device has started after 20min at windows screen. Touchflo 2D has not loaded and i can not make calls. I can't start any program, it gives an error that the program can not be started because it has not been signed with a certificate or some component is missing.

If you have an SD card inserted I would try removing it and see if that improves things!
I had a similar problem with an Xda Zest which turned out to be a corrupt SD card. Once it was formatted again everything was bach to normal.

I removed the SDcard, tried another one (also 4GB), then used the old one again (formatted) .
But no luck.
I will try again removing some software if the device allows it. Will update.

dont put any SD card in the device
and try
Start/configuration/sistem/Erase memory
and there just put 1234 and press yes
This metod erases everithing from your device leaving it just how it came from the factory

You may also perform a hard reset as you have mentioned to receive a message "some component is missing". Hard reset should fix any software (or Operating system) issues with your phone.
WARNING: Hard reset will erase all your data and the customizations you have made to the phone.

I have done a hard reset without the SD & sim card. It solved all the problems. I was able to recover my contacts with ActiveSync.
