Xm Raido - Wing, P4350 General

Any one have a Working XM Raido on Wing ?

pocketxmradio
but I have an xm account, which you need....
but no matter which xm or sirius app you find, you need to have an xm account.

Du do you have a name for a good sirius player too? i tried this one sirius CE or something of the sort but it would never connect for me ( i have both sirius plan and total internet addon )

No, I don't have sirius anymore... I had it a while back, but then switched over to xm. I'm thinking about opening my sirius account again bc I miss boombox!

i have xm radio on my wing, and mobitv, and i can also watch utube

i use mobile satellite radio, it uses windows media player

Does anyone know if you can use your Dish Network account to get XM radio? I have it available at home, so why can't I use it elsewhere? Just a possibility.

I found an article in Smartphone & Pocket PC that sent me to http://xstreamxm.com/mobile use your xm account to login
easy to use.

is there something im doing something wrong??? i cant get the pocketxmradio to work. i have an account with xm. when i put in my email and password pick a channel and hit go it doesnt work.
Thanks

BBC Radio 1 on Magician

Does anyone know of a way to receive the BBC Radio 1 stream on the Magician
use Pocket Media Player 10 or Real player.. and enter the URL..that's it
I have tried that, hence the reason for posing the question.
You never stated that you had tried either of those options.
You haven't even stated what the problem is, error messages etc...
Ok good point PDA,
The problem is that I cant get Real player 1.0 or 1.1 to work with the bbc's stream of radio1, i have tried the website links but that just wont take me to the player and I have tried the r1live.ram & r1livev7.ram files with the player but it just says the connection faild and gives me a message about not being able to connect to server.

Do any other streams work?
Are you using T-Mobile for your internet connection? If so, open the .ram file with a text editor. Replace :554 with :7070 and it will work. T-Mobile blocks port 554 but not 7070. I'm using the so called 1.1 preview version (although it's been a preview for about 3 years.)
If you're using a NAT firewall, some of the older routers won't pass the UDP protocol correctly and that will also block the stream.
The BBC page will give you the option of listening in an external player. If that option is selected, Pocket Internet Explorer will download the ram file and open the Real Player. Save the ram file as in the future you can just click on the file and the BBC will start streaming.
I am able to use the Virgin Radio Stream, but not the bbc, I have an orange M500, but I do not intend to use it via GPRS, too expensive, I have so far only tried using the internet connection via active-sync, but my PC has no problem streaming it, I have just bought a wireless card, so will be testing that asap.

XM service fee on 8525

I'm already an XM subscriber and didn't notice any way to "log in" using the new XM streaming app included in the new Cingular 8525 ROM. Is there a way to do that? Or do you have to sign up for their $8/month service even if you are an existing XM subscriber? I'm currently using ebook's Pocket XM, but it doesn't see any of the new channels which have come out over the past year or so, and it looks like the company that made it no longer supports or updates it. I know there's a website people log into via PIE to stream, but that site isn't run by XM and I'm not comfortable with entering my XM account username/PW on a site which isn't official.

The Cingular XM service cots $ even if you subscibe to XM normally. xstreamxm.com is free through PIE, it works great and free if you subscribe to xm radio normally.

Wizard Apps

What are some of the more interesting things I can do with a PPC phone? Something like the Remote Desktop, which I've had a lot of fun with. I have a blog hosted on Livingdot, can I remotely maintain and update my site, etc. Just looking for some creative applications
I had a nice guitaru tuner on mine for awhile... it had additional features not found on your average cheapo digital tuner.
I've used mine with real-time chat programs that let me real-time chat on Yahoo, MSN, and AOL.
I haven't tethered mine to my notebook yet, but that would be an easy way to provide yourself a data connection for a notebook pc while on the go (provided you have an unlimited data plan like I do).
I keep Google Maps installed on it, and Opera's latest web browser for Pocket PC phone edition. I use the latter for superpages.com to get addresses, and the former Maps program to find the location of those adresses. Not a GPS but the next best thing.
WM5torage is a great app if you want to listen to your music on your xbox 360!

xm radio?

did a search and not much came up (for me at least)
from what i can see there is no way to get Major League Baseball on the phone even if you have a subscription to XM? is that correct?
I don't think it's possible to listen to baseball, because it's not available through the internet radio channel list. I listen to XM Radio all the time through www.xstreamxm.com/mobile.

You have to have an XM Subscription and will then use the same Username / password from your XM online login...

Request: Test app "Sirius XM Application" on WiFi/Data to see if your Titan has sound

Request: Test app "Sirius XM Application" on WiFi/Data to see if your Titan has sound
Hi, I have a request to you Sprint/Verizon Titan/Mogul... users. This requires that you have an active XM account and be signed up for online listening. To sign up for online listening all you need is your XM radio ID a username (email address) and password. You can even sign up for a free trial to listen if you wish.
This application made by hlov, "Sirius XM Application" allows you to listen on your PPC using the same username and password that you signed up for to listen online at XM.
Here is the thread to his application and the posts by me with my problem.

My problem with this application on my Sprint Mogul. The album art and song info comes up. But I don't get audio.
What we are testing for: To see if your audio works on your Sprint Titan/Mogul using WiFi and Data.
Thanks
