Hi, i just got my t-mobile wing yesterday and i'd like to know if i can change and add my own sound for the new text message notification and if so where can i put the sound? Also, does anyone know if i can make my wing go faster when switching from portrait and landscape?

SMS notification sounds need to go into the Windows dir, and they will show up in the notifications list.
For speed ... try batterystatus to overclock your phone's processor.. but the best option would be one of the 6.1 ROMs that are available.
I recommend ITJE's TOUCH-IT or ASERGs Rom

The TF3D text tab is annoying and pointless in my opinion.
Its one of the reasons why I turned TF3D off in WM6.5 - as it just goes straight into the windows mailbox.
cab from dutty
i remember dutty released a cab for this a while back with one of his roms, cant for the life of me remember what version it was sorry, the one downside of it was that it added a zoom function to the sms tab witch made the txt really big by defult.

So I did this little tweak, and it's perfect, exactly what I wanted. One problem remains, however, and someone referred to it somewhere that I cannot now track down. The font size in the text input area in the Windows threaded SMS view is now very large, and it prevents me from inputting very much text. Does anyone know how to fix this?
I checked the thread_style.css file, and it says the font should be 8pt Tahoma, which it definitely ISN'T.

THANKS FOR THIS! you have made me really really happy. I still use the old WM6.1 TF3d since it's much much faster than any of the newer ROMs and Manila versions. And this just made SMS exactly the way I like it.
I would like to up this thread because doesn't work on manila 2.5 :s

Hay all cookers of polaris where is the new wm6.1 cooked roms for polaris all new roms are wm6.5, which is very beta version and do strange actions that (when i open a program in programs page for example and i close it it will close and get me back to the home or today tab or page not in programs page the last page that i opened )it but to home why and how come that !!!!!!!!!????????
and most of us are hate titanium tweaks and disabling it and enabling manilla or touch flo and all cooker still consist to add it in their cooked roms
we really need wm6.1 rom that has :
1) iolite m2d with footprints
2) the m2d could playing video and i could stop or pause or close it while it is playing (on screen controls in photos and videos)
3)the rom must has a good working 3G video calls dialer
4)a fast working opera with flash and working ie
5)the rom must has working percentage battery icon
6)a good working version of youtube
7)fast and stable rom
8)menu enhancements
9)a program that make polaris receive by bluetooth on memory card by default
10)has all new programs of iolite because it works perfect on polaris

Thanks,(i have tested this rom since first day of it the full , lite and the naked) but you know that i`m asking for a new wm6.1 full rom that has all the new programs and has a 3G dialer with video calls not a naked one

I`m already using the perfectdjkoa v1 3g dialer with video calls (found it in this forum) and i always install it after flashing any rom that has no 3g dialer , but it conflict with the arabizer that i use (mobidiv 417)(and that is always happen for all non native speaker of English that need to use and localize the new roms that has the new apps for their language) and make my device boot very slow so i need the 3G dialer to be in the wm6.1rom itself to solve many problems for many people

If that does not meet your needs you might have to cook your own.
Plenty of guides in the Forum to show you how and that way you can make it with whatever you like.
I doubt you will see any of the Polaris cooks coming out with a new 6.1 ROM as all the focus is now on 6.5.

Hey im sorry to bug the chefs and other members with this question, but i have found a rom that i really like. Only problem is that its for the Verizon Whitestone. It has the cool blue slider, the stock black and white tf3d icons, but it has the my location and weather clock, and it also uses the manila start menu instead of the joke that wm 6.5 uses. I am currently using josh's perfect black v 1.7 and it works great, but i want something a little faster and more stable... if someone knows how to get a rom to do all these things or can cook one like this then that would be amazing =]

Most ROM's have screenshots in the thread. This will probably be closed soon.
Just check out the ROM Threads to get what you need

You'll just have to keep looking, or ask a chef if they would make a ROM with your preferences. Failing that, get a kitchen and give it a go
Or try and find CABs to change another ROM to match, I think most colours can be changed with CABs, and I'm pretty sure the start menu can too.

You can also search the Topaz or Blackstone themes section. They almost share the same customizations..

Hi I was wondering if anyone could make a custom slider for my T-Mobile Touch Pro 2. I used to use HDwall but since I upgraded to 6.5 it no longer works. I have all the icons ready in a zip file I just need someone to make them into a cab that would work with my phone. If anyone can help me please reply or send me a pm and I will get the Icons to you.
P.S. they are alienware style icons that would match a wallpaper I have. so if anyone can help me I would appreciate it. Plus you could have a cool looking slider for yourself and everyone on here.

Hey man, what happens when you tried HDWalls to assemble them for 6.5? It should still work. I'll give it a shot for you if you want to get the icons to me....PM me and I'll give you my e-mail.
I want to learn how to make custom sliders for sense 2.5, does anyone have intructions on how to make them. I have icons already downloaded i just don't know how to go about editing thie manila files.
