Sure...
On the Weather tab, click on your city name to open the configuration dialog.
Click on the right soft button (Menu) and choose Weather Options. You should find Temperature Scale near the bottom.
You should be able to choose whatever scale you like.
Good luck,

Thanks got it

Tap on your city on the plugin. You will be taken to the Select City option. From there hit Menu>Weather Options.

on some versions of HTC Home I had to change the reg key HKLM/Software/HTC/.... so on untill you find the value for celsius 1=y 0=n (F)

Rotate Screen
Couldn't find the registry tweaks I used to do this and map the Long Send key to rotate when I want...but you can try this:

Hardware Button
After reading post #2 remembered
Start>Settings>Buttons Go to bottom and select assign program and scroll to <Rotate Screen>
Now when you hold your send key it manually rotates the screen
Jim
yea I did that but for some reason more times than not, when I use the send key it sometimes just goes back to the home screen. Is there a way to put a touch screen button on the screen so I can just tap it?

Any idea why I don't have a <Rotate Scree> option on my Sprint Diamond?
You need to enable it in the registry
HKLM\System\GDI\Rotation\HideOrientationUI - change value to 0

I believe there is an option in advanced config or diamond tweak that enables this as well, can't remember which one. I use them both...

Did you also make the registry change mentioned in post #7 and look in Programs/Tools...you should have a Rotate Screen icon you can use.

I did but I don't see the icon that you speak of. If you have a direction you can point me in I would appreciate it.

Make WM6.5 Start Menu icons movable and change start menu wallpaper?

Is there any way of doing this?
Thanks
You can use a program called IconChanger, it can place the icons where you want in the gridlist. Download it here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=567080.
When you open the program you just press MENU and Sort Current Items or something like that. Now you will see a list with all the names right, the first 3 is the first line in the startmenu and then the 3 following is the 2nd line and so on.
Thank you for your reply. But can you change the wallpaper for the honeycomb as well?
Yes you can, go to settings/today and disable TF3D, then go to pictures & videos (or album, I'm not sure which one) and find the wallpaper you want, tap and hold it till you get a list, chose "use this wallpaper as background" or something like that, set the transperency to 0% and you're ready to go.
And btw, go to settings and re-enable TF3D of course
In the later versions of WM, you can actually drag and drop the start menu icons around without the need of a 3rd party app.
Most WM6.5.1 roms will support this but WM6.5 does not.

How to remove My location in home tab?

Hello, everybody
Can somebody help me to find how to disable "My location" in Home Tab? Not only choose a city instead of my location, but remove this option? I know how to put it off in the weather tab, but found no solution in the Home tab... quite annoying.
-----
ROM: Miammiam Eclipse 2.0
HTC Sense: 2_5_19211619_0 fr
To remove it go to the registry:
HKCU\Software\HTC\Manila\Weather.EnableCurrentLocation and change it from 1 to 0
Now you can choose a city by clicking on the clock and adding a city. It will stay on this city!
try dutty's. attached.
hope it helps.

Hello. Thanks for this cab, but it only disable current location in the weather tab, and I want to remove my location (my position) in the Clock Home Tab. In others terms, I don't want to see My location in the world clock menu when choosing the city I want. Any help

What I did was this:
- in the weather tab I set a new place, i.e. ' amsterdam'.
- on the home tab tap on the clock and select the radio button before ' amsterdam'.
now is my location not removed but I can't see it on my home tab.
Hi!
I have the same problem. I can remove "my location" under the weather tab but not under the home/clock tab.
Where's this f*** register key.
I flash the GEN.YD2R5.3 but the GEN.YD2R4.4 I hadn't this problem...

Actually 2, mentioned above separately:
1. HKCU\Software\HTC\Manila\Weather.EnableCurrentLoca tion and change it from 1 to 0 works for removing current location from weather tab
2. Adding a location and selecting it from home screen (tab on clock, then select the city) will remove current location from Home screen.

With all due respect... the above solution did not answer the question... We are asking how to permanently remove the "My location" time from the clock screen. The method you quoted above changes the location on the home screen but when you restart, it switches back to "my location... which in my case... switches back to a wrong time...
Complete Solution
Found it!
There are two sets of registry settings.
Weather tab:
HKCU\Software\HTC\Manila\Weather.xxxxx
Clock / Weather home tab widget:
HKCU\Software\HTC\Manila\WorldClock.xxxxx
1) Add your desired city in your weather tab.
The first location will be "My Location" (LocalIndex 0)
The subsequent locations will be your cities
2) Change your clock/weather widget location:
HKCU\Software\HTC\Manila\WorldClock.LocalIndex=1 (or 2, or 3, if you have multiple cities)
This change will be effective on reloading your home tab.
3) - optional - Disable My Location:
HKCU\Software\HTC\Manila\Weather.EnableCurrentLocation=0
4) - optional if you're paranoid - disable My Location Service:
Disable My Location Service (Manila Settings Tab -> Location -
Uncheck "HTC location service"
Check "Automatically decline location service"
Disable "Improve location service by collecting location data"
5) - optional if you're paranoid^2 - Delete your cached GPS location:
Blank the following registry entries (as it caches your last GPS location) -
HKCU\Software\HTC\Manila\Weather.CurLocInfo
HKCU\Software\HTC\Manila\Weather.CurLocInfoEng
I believe the location service will use your GPS, not just cell location. See those latitude/longitude numbers with lots of decimal places in Weather.CurLocInfo? Imagine if you turned off My Location, then lost your phone together with your house keys... food for thought.

Change LockScreen & StartMenu Background

Title says it..
I have Manila 2.1 and I don't see the option to change the background for the start menu and lockscreen anywhere.
I know it's possible under settings/all settings/today - select - Use this as background: browse.. but it won't list any pictures. Only certain resolutions? Or file type?
Maybe there's a registry key?
Thanks.

If you are talking about the Operator text not the icon, just search for "change operator" here on the site ....
Or install Cookies Home Tab, with CHT Editor, it lets you do it ....
