I dont know if I can sell theses but figured I would try:
Ok what I have here are 2 Motorola T815 GPS transmitters. They are pretty neat little units. What you do is charge up the little GPS transmitter and then it connects to your phone via bluetooth and it acts just like a gps unit. It states it will only work for Windows Mobile phones, but almost all of the newer Motorola phones will work with this. Also this comes with a 2 gig micro SD card with a SD adapter preloaded with all the maps (1 gig of data and 1 gig of free space) so no need for your phone to be connected to the internet all the time. I am asking $100 obo for each unit. WELL below the retail. 1 box was opened to show contents and the other is still factory sealed.

Until a few weeks ago, I had an XDA IIi with TomTom 5 GPS receiver and software. My phone and GPS were both nicked (along with my car and £4,000 worth of other stuff) after getting broken into.
I have now got an XDA Exec. The memory card that was in my phone was a backup onto a larger card, so I still have the original software and am trying to get back onto my SatNav as quickly and as cheaply as I can (unless cheap is not necessarily the way to go).
I am considering buying this car mount for the phone, but the GPS in the pic looks nothing like my old one. This got me looking into alternative GPS receiver and it seems like there are quite a few, but I don't know what would be compatible.
So, any advice on what receiver to get? Also, do you think there would be any problems with putting my XDA IIi TomTom software onto the Exec?
That`s the mount I use,and it`s AWESOME! Perfect fit, clear built in speaker, ver solid when mounted.
I use this receiver from ebay ---> http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI....geName=MERC_VIC_RSCKCK_Pr12_PcY_BIN_Stores_IT
Never had a single problem setting up TT5 or using it on my Exec.I would definately recommend the above 2 items.

The listing doesn't mention being compatible with the XDA Exec. I presume you are 100% certain?
Also, the mount I posted a link to looks like it is for a certain type of GPS. How does it actually fit in, and is it a neat looking job.

For the most part, it's great- but I have two questions that would make it even better
(1) I can play music and audiobooks (two different apps) over bluetooth, and the audio is perfect. When I get bluetooth calls though, it starts with a blast of static and then nothing- I assumed it was a mic or feedback problem, but I just played a voicemail recording from the phone AT&T "visual voicemail" app, and it did the same thing even though that is just playing a recording and shouldn't be using the mic at all. Does anyone know what if there is some other difference between 'audio out' apps that might cause some to work find, and others to have problems? There are rear ports for audio input, but I don't think those replace the mic, so for now I'm stuck with external troubleshooting (I'm not ready to take it apart and start doing surgery on the unit)
[EDIT: it also plays the audio from Google Maps with no problem]
(2) The unit has a very long splash screen- so long, that I can get out my 150' driveway and down the block before it goes away and allows BT to connect to play my audiobooks. I looked through the menus but haven't found a way to shorten that screen. I realize this may require rooting if it is not a publically available setting. Where should I be looking (or is it stored in a file somewhere?), and if rooting is required, how does a newbie like me figure out the best options for rooting, preferably leaving the rest of the OS as-is so I don't accidently jack up the reverse and forward camera functions, etc?
I'm not a frequenter of XDA, but this seems to be the most knowledgable place for this type of thing- so I appreciate you pointing me in the right direction
Many thanks!

Easiest way of implementing FM radio onto a Samsung Galaxy Note 4? [unlocked&rooted]
Hi all,
I have an unlocked UK galaxy note 4 which I'm trying to turn into a basic mini car screen/infotainment system. The plan is to hide the phone peripherals behind a 3D printed cover to make it semi-sleek.
Step 1 was to use a custom launcher and several macro/tasker apps to create the functionality. The aims were 1. Time and date, 2. Google maps navigation (offline maps), 3. FM Radio, 4. Act like a real infotainment system - i.e. no ability to (easily) navigate to normal phone environment.
Step 2 was to root and change the System>Bin>LPM file (originally the powered-off battery display file). This was replaced with:
#!/system/bin/sh
su
/system/bin/reboot
This makes the phone boot when power is connected. [The macros are implemented such that only the screen turns off when power is lost and, as such, this auto-boot feature is just contingency in case the phone battery runs flat (so I don't have to rip out the phone and turn on manually!)].
So, I now have a fully operable time/date reader and google maps sat nav!
Step 3 is radio! I have seen a lot of posts discussing whether various versions of the note 4 have a built-in FM reciever! Does anybody know a robust way of determining this? I am fairly opposed to getting a SIM for streaming radio and quite like the challenge of finding a way of forcing FM to work! Has anyone found a way of doing this without extra hardware on any Note 4? Or anyone with extra (reciever?) hardware?
Model No: SM-N910F
Android: 6.0.1
Thanks in advance!

The 3G S3 has FM radio.
The 4G S3 does not.
The 4G antenna replaces the radio.
Pretty much the same for note 3 & 4.
There is no radio in the note 4.
