Looking for a place to get a replacement back cover, my wife dropped her 6800 and while the phone still works fine it cracked the camera lens. Have looked around but cant find anywhere to purchase one from. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, I have a Qtek 9100 and unfortunately I dropped it and scratched the front of the casing up pretty bad. The phone is still in perfect condition and not even a scratch on the back or the screen. I am looking for the front housing. I do not have any scratches on the rear housing, keyboard, or even the battery cover. I have looked on Ebay and the only thing that I have found is for around $100 (US). I do not want to pay that much for something that I can conceivably drop again. So my question is; is there anyone out there that knows where I can get a front housing? I would even buy the total housing to use as a backup but I do not want to spend an arm and a leg for it. I would greatly appreciate any feedback anyone has.

How about vinyl sticker to put on top of the scratches? Like those offered by mytego.com?
you can see how it look like from this thread at howardforum

Oh. That's slick the way the background and vinyl work as one.
I figured its a long shot, but you guys are a tremendous resource. I've scoured google trying to find a forum dedicated to hardware repair, but to no avail. I have a mt3g that my dog got a hold of. The phone turns on and works properly, but the glass screen is shattered as is the inside LCD. The entire front casing is chewed and needs to be replaced. I have access to a lot of phone parts and may be able to get myself a water damaged mt3g with a working front screen. Assuming I can do this, can anyone give me insight into replacing the front casing/screen. Any particular problems I might run into? Things to look out for? Just advice in general would be awesome. If anyone has experience doing this it'd be a great help. Thanks!
I need to purchase a non-camera back cover for my Fuze. I suspect a non-camera back cover for any of the HTC Touch Pro variants would work fine. I searched sources for Fuze / Touch Pro parts identified in these fora, but cannot find this part. Does anybody know where I can get one? Thanks for your assistance.
pull out battery door. Use black electric tape to cover it.
Or dissembly the device and pull out the camera then show it to your boss couse it is impossible to find a battery door without camera hole.

When I originally ordered my phone two years ago from AT&T Premier web site, there was also a non-camera variant with no camera hole in the back cover. I bet some some warehouse has a stack of these parts, I am hoping to stumbe upon it. I need something more professional than black tape. I have no issues with removing the camera but if there is a camera hole on the back cover, it would take me 30 minutes to explain and get approval each time I go to a secure location. I am hoping to use my Fuze as a back-up phone on the few occasions I visit a secure location.
Hey all, I have a LARGE spec of dust thats "stuck" on the inside of the plastic housing for my camera.
Ive tried bouncing it gently around, and trying to move it, but its firmly planted nicely there.
Is that a sealed unit, is there any "easy" access to inside or am I pretty much hooked. I took out all the screws to see if there was any easy access , but with them all removed, I couldnt get the back inside to come off, and didnt want to destroy my phone or ruin anything.
All for ONE spec of tiny dust!
Yea, I have the same problem.
I was bothered at first, but it didn't actually affect any of the pictures
so now i'm just living with it.
I would love to get it out though.
If anyone knows how to, please share!
Thanks in advance.
Take the back part of the case off and clean the lens.
This is on a Fascinate, but the only difference is the back door. Everything is the same on the interior.
I took my I9000M apart and it's the same.

Help!!!.
I got up this morning and dropped my phone resulting in the glass smashing. The touch screen still works and the glass is held in place by a screen protector. There is someone advertising on ebay to fit new screens for £48.99. IS this a good price??.
Also........ the vibration on my phone sounds as though it is loose inside so I was thinking that maybe a refurb is worthwhile at the same time.
Does anyone know where in the UK I could get this done at a sensible price?.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Scotty.
