Speaker problem

lately my universal is acting weird.
when this happens I can hear an incoming call ,but when i try to answer I do not hear speaker,and i am not hear.
along with this all other sounds are dead.only sound I hear is the incoming ring call,
is it a speaker problem,and if so why does the ring caller still sound?

problem with your mic, maybe die, speaker still work because it don't relate to mic

Ok, this is my problem, I just got the phone, did a factory reset and then I put my SIM, it gets a good signal and 4G network, I installed all my apps and everything was great, but when I tried to make a test call it seems like the call ends, I only hear the first beep and the sound is gone (but the call is still going), I cant hear the other person, they also cant hear me, I've tried Groove IP and it works great, on the earpiece, headphones, etc. both mics work great, I cant get any sound when calling using the dialer, there is a beep and the earpiece sound is gone.
I also get the "Conditional call forwarding active" pop up.
Any insight on this? :crying:

Hey, is it just me or any1 has this issue?
sometimes when I receive a call I can't hear anything through the earpiece of the phone, then I just turn the speaker on then off to fix this.

not on the note 4 but i am getting this issue on my mega 5.8

Unfortunately it's not just you. I bought mine today and I have not been able to make phone calls through the ear piece. Any fix on your end yet?
also, for me speaker on and off doesn't work

It sounds like a software (firmware) problem.
Update to the latest firmware or wait for the next update.

in Call bug

During a phone call, if i switch to the speaker, person on the pther end cant hear me clearly. is anyone else had the same problem / found a fix for it ?

Now and again when go to answer incoming calls no sound try to phone back still no sound have to reboot phone . Anybody got a fix for this.

I am having a similar problem as well. And I am unable to post to the OnePlus Forums.
My sound usually doesn't work when I am receiving an incoming LINE video chat., but if I call them back, it works fine.
Also during games the sound cuts out occasionally...

Before going any further with the solution, first make sure that it's not a network problem.
