This is a topic that really makes me crazy
I found a thread here that showed how to disable the Start Call Beep...but it didn't work for me...I couldn't find the reg. key on my Trin.
So what beep do I mean exactly? The painfully loud one when you engange in a call, or switch to call history and so on.... Hope you know what I mean...out of lack for a better word I called it "System Beep".
Hope you can help killing this for me!
btw. I use WM 6 with Mary 3.6

people have been ringing me but i have yet to work out how to set my xda2 up so that I can see any missed calls. I have tried the start/settings/phone/other settings/notifications and set it to play a sound and display a message on the screen. however this doesnt seem to work!?
Any advice as to how to do this? Also, i find the generic phone software a bit crap and buggy (crashes alot)...any reccs for better phone software?

when i miss a call i get an icon in the top showing a phone and a !
when i press it it show how many calles i mis'd and i can view which nr or contact it was from
anyone know how to disable that? its like 3 loud beeps just so you know the other person hung up.
Oh wow, I thought it was due to network settings from TMO only, but I guess this goes for all X1s. I'd like to know as well!
Disable annoying beeps when hanging up or call drops
Sometimes when a call ends or when you press the hangup button you get an annoying series of beeps. Like the in-call sounds, this is handled by a key in the registry:
HKCU\ControlPanel\Sounds\CallDropWithin that key the default 'Script' value is 'p' for 'play', change the 'Script' value to blank (erase the 'p') or change the 'Sound' key value to '*none'.

jezusrvd dont you notice when the call is over otherwise?
It's annoying when I go to hang up a call but my screen is off and I hear that.

I've come across an annoying "feature" on my little stone, at first it didn't seem to bug me as much but after a while it's really getting annoying. It's the damn dialer that has to come up after a call has been ended. Any way to make so it doesn't show up?
Did try to search without any luck so hopefully this hasnät been talked about so much in previous threads

Hopefully I'm proven wrong, but as far as I'm aware, there is no solution to this except pressing red button

I bet there's a registry thingy somewhere that controls the delay time. Perhaps if we would reduce it to 0.1 sec it would not even show?
There are two related settings at "Advanced Config" (the program), but unfortunately they are not spot-on the problem at hand. At least I, did not manage to reduce the time the dialer is displayed after a call.
They are both under the category Phone:
End call delay with description "Changes the delay between pressing the End key and actually ending the call. Default delay is 3 seconds."
and (this one seems more relative)
Call progress idle timeout with description "Specifies the number of milliseconds for which the call progress indicator will be displayed after the call is completed."
I also want to know answer if there is any registry tweak to disable dialer after a call. It is extremly annoying
Recently i have installed this software, the outlook is very nice! but there is a bug in it.
Normally, you can just press the "off" button once to close the conversation.
But did you find that the phone is locked after dialing for a few seconds, so that once the conversation is over, your "off" button will be discarded.
I have had a few times that the conversation is still on for 20mins or even longer after conversation. It is very poor.
please leave your solutions if you have.

flame me if thats not the right thread but i dont know wehere to go else.
im keeping my diamon in a leather bag and every time its ringing it touches the start button and enters the start menue (manila start menue).
thats really annoying because i cant see who calls! so is there a way to disable the start menue/taskbar when the phone is ringing?
hope some of you guys can help me.
