Hi
I want to remove the functions of up/down navigation keys while dialling. "up" navigation key refer to speed dial and "down" to the call history.
Is there any tweaks to do that? I want to use them just as scrolling buttons.

I want to assign more hardware buttons to start apps and perform functions such as 'start' and 'ok' without losing the default set of buttons.
So I want all the buttons you get as default on my xda mini s plus I want to be able select the 'start' button and 'ok' from hardware buttons - like you can when the sliding keyboard is open.
I also want to hardware start tasks, notes etc.
I don't want to use smartskey as doesn't this change the volume slider to page-up/page-down?
There seems to be a couple of apps out there that can enable this e.g. vito button mapper though was wondering if anyone could recommend something inc freeware if poss.

You can edit the smartskey.ini to disable the volume slider and just use the press and hold features of the softkeys. I can't understand why you would want to though. By default smartskey allows the volume slider to function as a volume control in the phone app and in the today screen.

Smartskey is the best app on my wizard. You will love it and wonder how you managed without it within the day.

I installed PQzII to map the various buttons and I am very happy with it overall. The volume control convert feature in the program didn't work though and I guess it messed up my Jog Dial. It won't control in call volume anymore and it also won't silence the ringer now. It still scrolls in web pages and menus though. Does anybody know how to reassign the volume functions? I'm sure a hard reset will do it, but I just got everything set up the way I wanted.
Hi Guys. I just wanna know if its possible to assign the Voice Dial Button to a new function. I want to assign the dial button to the "OK"/"X" Button at the top of the screen. The button is so small to push it with the finger so I want the Voice Dial Button for it.

Is there any software to assign navigation keys(left,right,up,down) to particular programs.i wanted to assign left navigation to new sms..
Is it possible to map volume key? I mean ex. Down key for "Home" and Up key for "back". It could be useful and allow to disable annoying navigation bar.
