i tried this last weeks and it seems to work...have a go..
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Services\Windows Live\Plugins\Mail]
"Auto download size"="1"
"Max mail headers"=dword:32
"Send Immediately"=dword:1
"LastAutoSendRequest"=hex:00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00
"Current Preview Size"=dword:1388
change the above value[1388] in the registry to 2710 and it will download double of the email size.... set to download.
1388=5000 decimal
2710=10000 decimal
of course you can put any setting you like..
Everythime I get a new email in my gmail account, I see the message "Internet Pictures Blocked" that I have to tap to download the rest of the email pictures. I have to do this each time on my Imagio, is there any way for the email to automatically do this.
In the Download size settings section, I have all the settings (see below) for email downloads set to max but still get this message. Anyone have a solution.
Message Download Limit I have set to Entire Message
Download attachment I have set to All Attachements
Ditto, I have always hated that
Thirded, if there were a modification to remove it I would even donate.
I agree as well that this is one thing that has always bugged me with windows phones. I hope that someone out there may have some better details or insight. Worse case scenario is that it better be fixed with Windows 7.
Internet Pictures Blocked
Still no resolution to this? I am going to dig through the registry and see what I can figure out. I'll post back if I get anywhere with my trials.
greenova, keep us posted with what you find
I think it's hard-coded in the poutlook.exe app somehow as a security feature, but there may be a way to hack it off, don't know.
any update guys? does anybody know where the registry location is for this?
Hey,
Like the HD2, but there's one really annoying niggle that I can't figure out how to sort (it's probably a really obvious setting that I'm just missing).
Emails only ever seem to download a very basic preview of what the message is and then give the annoying "click to download the rest of this message" option.
Is there any way to bypass this? So emails are automatically downloaded in full, ready to read?
Cheers
Email tab>Inbox>Menu>Tools>Options>*Choose Email Account*>Download Size Settings
Change Message download limit to Entire Message.
Hope that helps.

Dont seem to have the option with hotmail.. Is this right?
I would be also happy to know how to do that with Hotmail. This option is available however doesnt matter what I set there because everytime I select "Download entire message", click "Ok" and then want to reassure if it is set I see just the default values. I could change it just in case of POP3 access but when I am using Hotmail I dont know hot to set it. Maybe I should set Hotmail via POP3 but than I couldnt use "Push email"...
hello all when i try to send 2 or 3 pictures through text ill get and error( saying unable to attach file . file size too larger try sending via email , wifi ) ?
You might be able to increase it some through modifying system files, but remember that AT&T's network won't support messages larger than 600KB
I've been trying to figure out if it is possible to edit the apk of the default messaging app. I wanted to increase the mms limitation from 300 kb to 3MB or more. I know that for other phones, such as a number of galaxy phones, that this was possible. Has anyone here tried this for this phone or apk, or does anyone know if being able to edit text apks to increase mms size is something that can be done no matter what phone or apk. Any help this noobie can get would be greatly appreciated!
