[Q] Clock not set to right time DL30

Hey guys,
Ever since changing to DL30 (using the latest Blackhole ROM and Superdark Theme), my clock does not report the correct time. I have gone into the settings and made sure it is on automatic, but it is not pulling the correct time. This morning for example it showed 6:05am instead of 6:30am.... not good when my phone is my alarm clock.
Any ideas how to fix this? Should I just set the time manually? Strange issue though, my phone used to sync to the correct time just fine.
Thanks!
I Love duplicate threads. But join the party others are having HERE.
good day.

Problem Solved
this problem most of time because of Taskkiller app
in my case task killer set 30 sec refresh time but i set it to 10 sec manually by editing preference.xml in root explorer
ANS uninstall task kikller (if u don't need)
if u need it uninstall + restart phone + reinstall it
I had the same problem after a connection with a PC. Samething happend with manual time settins.
The problem is out with the ROM 2.3.2

alarm wont turn off?

I was in a phone call when my (stock) alarm went off, ended the phone call and had no way to get into my alarm to turn it off. I could get into the alarm settings etc. but there was no way to turn it off, just the settings for it.
This seems like it happens to me every time I use the alarm (which isn't often). I cant shut the damn thing off - and have to pull the battery. It doesn't matter what I am doing at the time the alarm rings. What is the trick to it?
If you guys are using a aosp Rom with cm7 lock screen sense clock alarms will not shut off when using them so either get the HTC lockscreen apk to use the sense alarms or just use desk clock apk u can find it on a few roms. Or in the forums works for me. Cm7 lockscreen will cause issues with sense alarms not shutting off.
i've only had that issue when using a sense rom with asop lockscreen... but i believe that is an old problem and i dunno about a resolution
i have used alarm droid in the past to by pass the normall alarm does all the same and even backs up ur settings alarms from rom to rom which is kind of nice

Alarm time (widget) not refreshing

hi, I hope this is the right sub forum to post my issue.
The digital clock widget is set on my home screen. When changing the alarm time to a specific time the widget is correctly displaying the time when the alarm goes off. Although when I change the alarm time for a second time, the widget is not refreshing the time - not even after hours. If the widget is resized it refreshes.
Nexus 4, Stock 4.2.2. (rooted with current franco.kernel)

Delete it and readd the widget, if there was an update that can tend to break certain features/functions.
Thank you, but it doesn't fix the issue.
It happens to me too, when I set off an alarm or enable one, it doesn't refresh the widget. I have to delete the widget and then take it back.
I have the same issue on Galaxy Nexus, stock ROM, android 4.2.2, rooted with Nexus Root Toolkit

Security -> Owner Info
and checking Don't show owner info

V20 H915 Time problem

Does anyone else have the problem that after a restart the phone defaults back to 12hr clock (am/pm) instead of the 24hr clock I'd set the system to?

Yes, I have a new LG V20 with this problem. Not only is the time defaulting to the 12hr clock after a restart, but it is defaulting or shutting off the 24hr clock during normal operations! First I discovered that the 24hr clock would default to 12hr clock when re-entering the "Date & time" settings control. Then after LG recommended a factory reset, which didn't correct the issue, I noticed it just defaulting to 12hr clock all on it's own after a few days of up-time on 24hr clock...
Great phone... hoping there's a fix or a new device will solve the problem.
Didn't make sense to exchange the device for a new one because it wasn't likely hardware related, but went for a new one anyway...
Same issue, although what I did notice is that the pre-installed Accuweather widget on the home screen is defaulting from 24hrs to 12 hrs several seconds before the time in the Status Bar changes from 24hrs to 12hrs.
I wonder if the Weather widgets are responsible!?
