it is possible to download the weather by the 3G in the place of Wifi ?

call me a dummy, but after installing the HTC HomePlugin, i didn't see an option for weather. the only things that appeared on my home screen were icons for power, comm mgr, etc. is it a must that i have WM6 installed on my device?

After installing the htc homeplug (not htc home) you need to soft reset. and yes you need WM6 - you also need to have the today plugin selected.

anyone know how to hack the locations? A choice between London and Manchester is useless if you live in Birmingham!

find your city and copy the code at the end of the address (on your browser address bar)
paste all that in the HH_409*.xml file in your windows ( on the trinity, of course)
you should have something like
Rochdale EUR|UK|UK201|Rochdale
now, just select the new city.

Here is the example (first 3 lines) I did on mine HH_0409_WeatherCities.xml file:

I get this code, but was unable to retrieve data

I've edit the xml file and put like this

No matter what I try, I'm unable to edit that file...It has some kind of read-only protection, I can't overwrite it either. Any tips on how to achieve this?

I copy the file to pc and edit, then replace in windows folder, but no sucess with my settings

I've just installed the CAB but it's not working properly.

Program for taskbar htc touch

Hey everyone, I'm trying to find a program for the htc touch that will let me switch between programs on my taskbar like on a normal desktop pc.
I hope one of you knows what I mean
either only an icon that I can click or let it be rectangular buttons, whichever is fine.

Add new Tab for Today Applications to TF3D??

First I wanna say, that this site is amazing! I´m at least 2-3 times a day here to look for new stuff
Now I have a please. Does somebody know how I can add a new Tab for today plug-ins like "resco Radio" or something else in the TF3D??
... or can somebody program such a function?

I was just wondering the same thing.
It would be nice to have two programs tabs with different things

I'm not aware of any current solutions that operate the way you've described however there are two solutions that are similar enough that they may prove suitable for your needs.
The first one is SecondToday which is an application that maps itself to one of your home screen soft keys and allows you to toggle between TF3D and what looks like the WM Today screen.
The second solution is Manila Control which replaces HTC Cube with another WM Today screen look-a-like (called by the default cube action -- swipe from bottom to top).
I've tried both and have had some success with SecondToday but, unfortunately, no success with Manila Control. As always, YMMV.

My ELF is Different

I have HTC ELF but my Touch Flo home screen is completely different than that of posted in several websites,
What I saw is like this in several websites.

But in my ELF i am having those Weather,Music, Albums, Contacts button at bottom of the or about the bar at down.... I also dont get those 3d Cube rotations..... help me

Your elf is totally normal from what i saw in that screenshot.
This is because thats the "HTC Home" homescreen.
To get it to look like others, you need to download the appropriate program.
Heres a link to the Touchflo 2D page:

To get the cube rotations, swipe up the screen, from the bottom to the top.
Then the cube should appear. To go from left to right, just swipe that way.

I think he has TF2D already by the sounds of it. My understanding is that he wants the normal HTC Home plugin such as the one he has seen on several websites like the picture he posted. I may have misunderstood as well, but this is what I think he was asking for.

Am I understanding what you are asking for. You want the regular HTC Home plugin? and the Cube. IF I am right then you have an elf or elfin with Touch flo 2d already installed. TF2D is a home plugin. You will need to go into your home settings and deactivate TF2D plugin and Activate HTC Home plugin. If you do not have HTC Home plugin option then you need to do a search for it (there are many versions available some with more tabs) and install it and then select it as your plugin of choice. To get the cube. If I am correct and you have an elf with Stock TF2D then you do not have the HTC Cube - You will have to do some searching for custom cube and try to install it. I have read about others wanting to do the same; however, am not sure if they have been successful yet in installing a functional cube.
If I have misunderstood you, then follow the advice above. I believe there are cab versions of it and ROM's with TF2D as well you can flash. Hope this helps.
