Hello,
I use Hypercore kitchen. I extract an OEM ROM and build it without any customizations, it boots up. But when I do the same with other cooked ROMs, they never even pass through the splash screen. Any ideas or suggestions for me please?
Regards,
Carty..

I just upgraded to udk's latest rom...but i didn't like it so much...
So I decided to change and upgrade to A.Serg latest ROM (and radio 1.64)..it's the best rom..
But..... When I finished the upgrade, i saw that previous rom boot screen was still there...when the device is booting the first thing i see is udk's boot screen..
How can I remove that?? Please?
I like udk's ROM's but now I installed A.Serg's ROM...so it is not fair .....
Please help....
You have to install an other splash screen!

This is not about fair or not fair.
Simply, UDK's rom has spash screen, Aserg's rom has not.
There is nothing in it to overwrite udk's splash screen.
This is the original smart mobility 1st splash.
But watchout : hard resets your device.

Hey, guys,
I'm planning to remove m2d on myself cooking rom. So any experts can tell the detail steps to remove m2d when cooking? Now my rom is without htchome.
Any response will be appreciated. Thanks.
So I've started to cook my own WM 6.5 ROM's. I am using ervius visual kitchen and newest XIP/SYS I can find. I am using OEM from an already working and booting ROM. I have the right res (240x240 in my case, HTC Cheetah) and using 96DPI SYS with an 0409 Lang (English).
I thought I had my bases covered, the ROM compiles and outputs an NBH for me to flash with all of my applications cooked in. No matter how hard I try, though, I can't get the phone to boot. I am stuck with a green light and a black screen.
Do any of you development guru's and genius's have any idea what I might be doing wrong and any steps that I could take to getting a working ROM?
I dump an original rom for opal from htc with EVK for opal.
Then I cooked some roms with it.
When flashing over, the phone runs good, seems there are no problems.
But after I restart the phone, the home setting, comn manager, and volume button totally don't work and scrolling not smoothly.
jagan2,nguoc,indresh88 seem have fixed those problems, could you help me.
Plz,thx.
is there anybody can help me?
thx

HI all
I got in trouble in cooking rom
I'm trying to cooking rom wm 6.5 for motorola q8 but I lack xip in wm 6.5, anyone can help me?
You don't need a WM6.5 kernel/xip to cook a WM6.5 ROM. Just use the OEMXIPKernel from WM6.1 ROM together with WM6.5 XIP packages.
However you won't be able to use more SLOTs.
