Did I brick my phone? - Mogul, XV6800 General

Was trying to update to 3.16. Now it just hangs on the Sprint logo screen. I can get into boot loader mode with Power/Camera/Reset, but it says "no image found" when it tries to load.
I also can't seem to get Vista to recognize the USB connection.
Tried Hard Reset - none of the version numbers change.
Here's what I have showing:
Code:
Bootloader:
TITA100 MFG
SPL-2.40.Olipro
CPLD-9
Startup/Sprint screen:
M 09 P ACAAAAM-4070
B 03 R 1.32..00
D 3.16
Did I kill it? I can't get anything to work and have spent half the night reading other threads and trying everything I've seen suggested. Tried the re-locker - can't connect via USB. Don't have a card reader, so I can't put the ROM on the card. I can get Vista to detect it as Windows USB Sync, but it says "failed to start device".
Please help.

I can't update anything. No matter what I try I get error 260 - Connection. And it says the phone's not connected to the PC.

Your phone most likely isn't bricked. I'd say you need to buy or borrow a card reader and flash the radio ROM from SD.

Fixed it by flashing radio from the card.
Thanks for the help.

trouble with hard spl

Im unable to upgrade the rom on my stock htc polaris.
im using vista with the 4.0 driver installed (dl'd from this forum).
I've turned off usb connection in win device center however when i try and install hard spl2 the progress screen sits at 0% and then times out with a 262 error.
does anyone have any ideas that can help me?
Use XP. I bet it works OK then...
4.0 Driver installed?
I have a stock Vista Ultimate, stock Device Center 6.1 and a German Orbit 2. It took me a while, but I finally managed it.
I didnt turn anything off, nothing. The only thing I had to change since the O2 ROM doesnt run unsigned stuff: the reg-entry to allow unsigned apps. Thats all.
Remove SD-Card
Connect to Device Center, wait till connection is fully established
Start the supplied RUU from HardSPL package
Follow instructions/click next/next/next...
Check your device, you have to confirm the execution of the loader
When the tri-color screen appears, unplug and replug, it'll upgrade the SPL and takes approx. 2 seconds
If you have no success at all: try to leave the device at the tri-color screen, quit the RUU and run it again, just leaving the device at the tri-color screen.
After a couple tries, I managed it and I'm happily running a stock HTC ROM instead of the O2 one.
Good luck, report back if it worked.

u must be in normal status i mean just whe u r synching with vista and the ppc should be on and then start the hard spl (u don't need to go in bootloader by yourself) it will go to bootloader automatically and then upgrade will be successfull.
so
connect ppc with wmdc vista and then when connected and start hardspl
tried all of this but still no joy.
i think running it on xp would be fine but i dont have an xp box

failing that, go get an (micro)SD card and format it as FAT32
bung the RUU_Signed.nbh inside the rom update onto the SD card and name it POLAIMG.nbh (or to make it flash with no user confirmation, POLADIAG.nbh) slap the SD into your device and reset into SPL
Thanks A Million!!!!

Olipro, You saved my life. After trying to flash my own cooked rom, my cruise wouldn't go beyond the splash screen. I used your tip and it worked!!!
THHHHAAAAAANKK YOUU!!!

That bit when you reset and it comes up with "o2" and a load of numbers in the corner

That bit when you reset and it comes up with "o2" and a load of numbers in the corner
...Yeah, my phone's stuck on that after trying to put in a cooked ROM and now nothing's working when I try and restore it. (I mean, that's not the bootloader is it? It's the boot bit, but the loader's not the same ) USB connections are disabled in ActiveSync, yet MTTY won't see USB as a method of connection, UNI_ExitBootloader won't see the USB connection, re-patching it only comes up with Error 112, what am I doing wrong? Is my XDA actually bricked? Nothing seems to be working guys, I hope I haven't fooked it
EDIT: Trying different ROM updates (I'm sure they're meant for the universal), getting Error 114 "Radio Rom Update Error", no solution by restarting computer or phone. Or taking out the SIM or SD cards.

(UN)Hard SPL and generic rom. What do you think i should do?

Hey folkes
I dropped my phone yesterday. First the display would'nt show anything but this morning tha display worked fine but the touch does'nt work so i need to send it to the servicepartner that my provider uses.
Should i (un) hard spl and install a generic rom? Is there anything else i should do so they cant se that i used non generic roms?
/A from now on a Nokia N95 user again :-(
Yes, definitely.
Flash a generic ROM back on first, then flash the original SPL back.
I just hope you can do it without the touch facility working.

You can do this from a computer with the RUU so there isn't a problem I guess.
Good luck dude!
If I were you, I try first to make a hard reset in order to see if touch is really dead or not...
Can i put back the stock SPL with the micro SD card? The problen now is that i cant run the RUU becurse i can't configure my device. I am pretty much stuck at "Tap the screen to configure your device" I knew before that i could get stuck here but i was able to flash the stock rom anyway after the hardreset.
But when i try to put the stock SPL back the RUU says "Connection error"
So my onlu option at this point is if this works with the micro SD method.
Any experience anyone?

You can still run RUU, but make sure you flash the stock rom first.
To get RUU to work, start your x1 in boot loader mode (turn it off, then press and hold both power and volume down until the tri colour screen comes up), now connect your phone to your pc with the usb cable and run the RUU.

help! can't unlock vogue

Hey guys, I've been playing with these phones for a while, I have had a Mogul, and this is my second touch I am working on. I cannot for the life of me get this to work, done tons of reading but am at my wits end.
Supposedly 2 GB cards work for flashing the vogue, right? Well when I try to, I take the Cokeman 2.31 unlocker, load it on 2 GB SD card as VOGUIMG.NBH, enter bootloader, but all that happens is it says "Loading...". Needless to say, nothing happens and it just goes back to the bootloader rainbow. I encountered this problem before and resolved it by using a 512 mb card, but I actually lost the card and cannot find it . It appears no one carries 512 mb cards anymore, because I've called Staples, Best Buy, Kmart, and they all don't have them smaller than 2GB.
So I decided to try via USB. I have win mo dev center setup, synced up, recognized. Open the RUU.exe, go through the steps. The RUU kicks it to the bootloader screen successfully, but when it comes up, the connection appears to be dropped, and the progress bar never starts to move, failed connection.
Any ideas at all would be greatly appreciated!
I know that you can flash from a 2gb card, but I am not sure that you can unlock from one. To unlock, I think you have to plug your phone into the computer and run it from there.
And on the computer, I think it takes time. Maybe try and just be patient.

Per his instructions, you are supposed to be able to unlock with Cokeman's unlocker. I think it just doesn't like my microsd card, because I've run into the same issue before and fixed it with the 512 mb. Just can't find another one of these things, damned stores only sell 2gb.
I'd give it all the time it needs, but it says usb connection failed. I think what I'm missing is the step where you disable USB connections in WMDC / activesync. Any idea at what dialog box you must do that? Cokeman's instructions are so general hard to tell when.
Thanks!

are u sure your card is formatted to fat32?
EDIT: also to use the 2.31 unlocker you must already have a gps radio installed

radio 3.42.30 its a brand new replacement i just got
farthest I can get on USB is load the RUU, recognizes the phone and rom version, it boots the phone to the bootloader, and at that point the usb connection is lost, and never returns to the pc. Phone sits there on rainbow screen saying "Serial" and pc says usb connection lost error. :-/

vista or xp?
rom flashing works better in xp rather than vista
vista is my only option at this point
any ideas why it doesnt see the usb connection after it reboots to bootloader?
Ok so here's the latest:
Last night I tried it again.
This time I realized why I wasn't getting the dos prompts: I was running the RUU directly rather than running the actual unlocker file. It appears tho, that the unlocker is incompatible with 64 bit systems, it returns the message before I even get to the RUU step that certain programs are not compatible with 64 bit. So it looks like I must somehow find a 32bit machine.. unless I can find a way to run compatibility mode.
Thanks again guys!
oh and ps whoever said you can't unlock from a microsd card was right, I got a 512 mb card finally and that didn't work for the unlocker

Treo Pro stuck at Bootloader

I need help guys. I tried to flash the bootloader and something went wrong. Now it starts up with the three color and have this displayed.
RUUNBH
PANT200
SPL-0.36.0000
CPLD-2
Upgrade ROM code error
Please try again
Serial
It can still detect the USB connection, however it will always timeout. Can anyone help me out with this? I am new to this; So if you can be as detailed as possible it will be great. Thanks in advance.
Update:
So far i've tried loading rom from sdhc card formatted FAT32. With Matbee's version and also Cfays wm6.1. Both however are stuck at Loading after bootloader.
I've tried connecting it to windows but since it won't sync, I can't do anything there. At this point, anything I can do or try is worthwhile.
Thanks.
q+a
id try re flashing to unlock it
prolly by loading it in bootloader mode
if it wont connect during flashing disconnect the usb and reconnect once it starts
lemme kno what u try
