My MDA has T-Mobile rom 2.26 and wont unlock please help???

Hey guys,
The newbie with too much time here...(again) , I got a few questions due to a prob i'm havin. i Just bought a T-Mobile MDA from eBay for my wife and need to unlock it for cingular. i followed the procedure as I did with my 8125 however it won't give. i repeated the steps to ensure i did it just as advised and the result was the same. Upon looking over everything in frustration i realized that it had already been loaded with T-Mobile ROM ver. 2.26 . So my questions basically are as follows:
(1) does the fact that it's got a more updated rom mean i need a newer version of lokiwiz than 02?
(2) what the frig do i do to get this bugger to where i can go back the "simple" process of unlocking and loading the new titanium rom?
and finally...
(3) If i am doing something wrong can someone guide me in the right direction with a few "parently words of advice" for my new adventure?
Any help would be greatly appreciated

NVM!!
I goofed i overlooked a earlier post that showed that the rom can me CID unlocked by unlicking the SIMlock with the new LOkiwiz3 then downgrading to an older Standard rom then running the old Lokiwiz2 then ur free to load whatever floats ur boat(as long as you remember there is still the possibility to "Brick" ur device, so take care). Removing Orange Rom from TYTN ii

I have just taken delivery of the TYTN ii and it was locked to Orange, I used Imei Checker and had the lock removed as I am on the 3 network and all is fine.
However can someone please do an idiots guide list on how to remove the Orange Rom as it is awful - Orange wreck their phones by installing their own Rom.
I have experience of flashing Nokia phones with no problem so am not a novice.
I have spent days reading the posts on here and still cannot get Hard Spl installed...
I hope someone can help - also what is best rom available at the moment....
I see some people state that you cannot update the Orange rom!!! is this correct???

Upgrading WM5 TO WM6 IN 8125 UNLOCKED

Dear Friends,
i am using sim unlocked cingular 8125 in india. its working fine its a great phone. but now i want to upgrade this wm5 to wm6 but i am unable to understand which rom is best for me and process and tools are required for this .
i read many thread in this website but they confuse me bec they are not in proper step by setp.
i want only step by step process only for 8125
i think it is G4 bec when i start my phone its says

SPL 2.25.0001
OS : 02.25.11
GSM - 02.25.111
Please Master's Help me.

U can try AMPv2 roms,TNT ROMS which are G4 safe since yours is unlocked and see the sticky thread "windows mobile 6 for newbies"

I updated my OS to 6.1 - Final Final Angel a week back. Then I updated the radio rom to 2.71.11 (check my signature for details).
I would strongly recommend you -
1. Use this link to re-flash your OS. Follow it step by step. Do not miss even a single step.

2. Follow this guide if you have a CID locked device (most probably you do)

Please remember that you would need to do this small step everytime you want to do some upgrading because this is temporary. For eg. I did it once when upgrading OS and then again when upgrading Radio ROM.

I've been recommended this OS bya lot of Gurus and personally I feel that it runs great given the outdated (read ARM 195MHz CPU) hardware that I have.
Any doubts, queries, please feel free to ask. There are plenty of Gurus here to help out.

8125 flashed spanish rom stuck on three color screen

well I think I misread the threads. I understood that since my htc was unlocked that I could flash a spanish rom to it and I went ahead and flashed it it is a cingular 8125 well after the flash ended now the htc8125 only turns on in the three color screen and it says.

what I am supposed to to now is my phone bricked. help please.

Well you should flash your phone with this "ROM" and then do some more reading.

Reflash using the wizard love rom. You might have trouble finding it if the link I have included is dead. Thats the only sure way. And make SURE your battery is full or at least 75% when you do this.

i was finally able to download wizard love how do I use even though the wizard turns on it seems like it dont want to connect using active synch what am supposed to do

Well after trying and doing a lot of reading and with the help of some members from this forum got my htc working again and got a spanish rom too.:d this is what i had to do
flash my device using the wizard love rom
flash my device with hard spl
and finally flash the spanish rom

so i got a htc 8525 att Cingular and the OS was version 5
so i came to this site and upgraded it to version 6..then 6.1
i didn't need much but i still went for version 6.5.5 alpha and now the phone only starts then it says designed for windows mobile 6.5.5 and it stays like that

1- try soft-resetting the phone
2- if that doesn't work, try hard-reset the phone,

You really should be using the latest Hard SPL, and you should be reading the threads here that instruct how to successfully flash your device...
