The HTC Herald is the same thing as the T-Mobile Wing not the Tilt the Tilt is the HTC TYTN II.

So I just spent like 3 hours messing with the MDA, and unlocking it and installing WM6 on it with the 2.26 version rom on it...
Heres the thing, I bought the new wing off ebay earlier tonight. What happens if it turns out to be a G4 (possible?), still able to unlock?
Is the wing and the mda pretty much the same thing?
I apologize if I am asking n00bish questions, but it's been a LONG night.

Many People Are Using A Wing, But No One Would Like To Tell Me What The Model Id Of The Model.
Why?
I don't remember what it said when it was stock out of the box .. but if I remember correctly, its the same id.
I believe its still HERA100
Might be wrong though
It's very easy to know the model id if you have a WING on hand :-
- just take out the battery from the unit then you will find the id number.

Pretty much so. I have had one since September and advice on this forum for the HTC TD2 generally seems to apply to the T-Mobile Compact V.
