working snes emulator on universal ??

howdy folks..
did any one managed to get the pocket snes work on
the universal ??..
Mine pocket pc switches from ladscape to portrait when i load a rom ..
and goes into som sort of white "about" screen with credits and an link to
pocketsnes.com or something
btw ive got version 1.12.200
plz some ideas..
or is it just an F#ck up from a noob like me

ok got an other snes emulator with reportly works on a SPV c500 from orange..
soo.. uni should work also .. the proble is that it is unsiggned..
so it wont install or run..
any ideas ?

subroutine: you want to application unlock your Universal. Check in the wiki, simple registry edit, or alternatively, you'll find cabs on here somewhere.
HKLM > Security > Policies > Policies
Search for 0000101a in your registry and change to 1,
(I think!)

How do I make 1.3 Camera with WM6 work

I've already reinstalled the driver a few times with different combinations, switching driver on/off in menu - no result: "Failed to set up camera device".
Is there any working driver for 1.3 camera?
The device is T-mobile SDA music

well if U are on andot's windows mobile 6 then just first thing to do after flashing the rom is set up the correct camera driver and then install appropriate cab file for HTC camera...( dont play with the settings or U just have to do anther reflash)

I just did exactly as u described. NO RESULT

well this probelm exists... thr are some registry setting that can help u make 1.3 camera with this rom... well i just wish i knew chinese cos in recent days i hav came across so many version of chinese Rom avaible at few chinese forums... thse roms as i hav mentioned hav many new settings which can help us so sum hardware upgrades to da existing typhoon like addin 1.3 camera to it.... i hav seen anndot & exitio & many others from Xda posting tht those chinese forums... thanks to ma firefox translator pluggin... i wonder why dont they share all da roms available, not only for typhoon but phones like Huricane which has only one rom avaible here at XDA developers which is not stable at all wit too many buggs in it, well thr are around 7-9 roms available.. but 3who will help..????

Ipaq 600 call waiting fix for fw0.88!!

i will start by saying i didn’t have the call waiting problem
but I did upgrade to 0.89 radio (test, have a look/see) and when doing so checked the hp callwaiting fix
4 me i found radio 0.89 not as good as the fw0.88 (bad on battery,wifi on/off time,gps, working with igo8.. )
anyway before returning to 0.88 I have modified the callwaiting fix to work on the 0.88 radio
I confirmed it was working on 2 devices of a friends that did had that problem
the only issue is that there is a mute on the first ring then every thing is o.k.
Please see if it will work/helps you

the 600 has different ID num (location of purchase...) and I wanted 2 know if it works on all 600 series (like hp SIM patch that fit only specified models)
after testing, please specify your device ID

Hi,
I did extract the cab from the HP local pach for SIM problems.
would you know how to make it "universal" for 600 series ?
I suppose I should extract a DLL inside the cab, modifie it then recompil the cab but it is above what I am able to do.
Edit : in case you could do something, here is the cab :

what happens when you install this cab?
the installation fails?
you get warning not? If so what is it?...

When I install this cab I have this error message :
ERROR : INVALID MODEL ID
This Udate cannot be used for your IPAQ Pocket PC. Please check your Update utility.

The supported SKU IDS are: FA992AA#ABF, FA992AT#ABF, FA991AA#AB0, and FA991AA#AB5.
Mine is FA992AT#ABB
ABB is my contry ID, I gess ABF is for France.
If I could change my country ID by editing the registry, it could be the simplest way but I did a search with the word "ABB" in my registry editor and found nothing.

For me it didn't work. It was installed fine, rebooted, but the problem is still there (the conversation is muted all the time when the second person rings).
So I disabled the call waiting feature and there is no problem at all now.
The second person who wants to talk with me will get a "number is busy" message and will have to call back later.
That's the best solution for me.

sorry 4 not answering sooner ....
did you install to device memory ?
do you have wm6 or 6.1? (4 now i know it works on hp wm6 only )
if you use hp wm6 ... then what is your product id?
tnx 4 testing and info ..
i will look into the fix and see if i can fit it to all devices
btw the call waiting fix is the one in the first post!

I have installed the call waitting fix from your first post. When the install wizard asked me I chosed main memory (not Ipaq files or storage card). Then I restarted the device.
O.S. is WM 6.1 build 20270 1.3.1

i think this is the problem ,i didn't try to fit it to the 6.1 (havent installed it...) only the hp orig rom

after a week, I can tell that this fixe is not harmfull for non designed country ID products.
I havn't had any unwanted softresets in a week so I can tell that this fix is working for MY problem.
I am not a heavy user of connection tools like wifi, bluetooth, GPRS, 3G and so one so I cannot tell if this fix is harmfull to connection tools.
the only thing I know is I can phone as normal, and I tried to connect to wifi and download weather data and it works.
As It is not harmfull for me I think I can give it for public download on this site.
It worked for me but it doesnt mean it may work for you so please backup your data before to try it.

I am (( left handed person )) and I face trouble while operating it , all the scrolling option is on right side, So can you help me with this or is there any software available for this.

use this touch flo software and scroll anywhere as you like.
install it and soft reset ur device.

have u do a soft reset ur device after installing it.
and one thing there is no change seen at device.
just swipe ur finger in the middle of ur device at program menu or any application where thhe scroll bar is presents .

Touch-scrolling : This feature allows you to scroll windows without using scroll-bars. To scroll window contents you can drag window contents in desired direction with your fingers.

I think the problem is your rom version(wm5.0. TouchFLo doesn't work in it). Update your rom to a newer one (wm6.5) and you'll not have problems.

i am also using original wm5 rom
but touch flow works fine in my device
