New Touch Dual
I have a brand new HTC Touch Dual but it is not a Nike but a NEON400 and it has the Diamond processor of 528 MHz with no SIM. It is like the Touch but with more speed with this processor and the same memory as the Touch.
But everything I find on this forum has to do with the Nike not really a NEON400 so I'm not sure what to do. I would like to unlock it and be able to install programs on it with CAB files but I always have those warning about certificates and cannot install what I fibd here on this forum like the FtouchFLOconfog or a config for the Cube. I would like Manila2D on it, but this one is too new yet to get anything for it.

Ive seen loads of videos on the tinternet with people using wizards and my device the xda mini s.
with a couple of really cool app called touchflo and slide2unlock.
Ive had a look on here and there is various versions and im not sure which one 2 get
can someone point me in the correct direction to the cabs to these 2 fantastic apps.
Im currently running a wm5 rom which is the standard aku2 rom for O2.

Download version 1.81 from the bottom of the first post, install it, and then use the most recent patch.

ok got my wizard back after a screen fault.
can someone tell me how the hell u get slide 2 unlock to work ?
as the unlock progy...
if i run it as normal it works fine but apart from that im lost.

I just got my touch dual and i love it but, i copied all my contacts from my sim to my phone and now they show up twice on my phone. I read in other sub-forums on this site that you can just go into the registry and change the settings, but i was just wondering if that was possible to do on my touch dual as well?

it seems we were not given a cube primeraly because we have a bottom-end machine.
we have the same chipset as for instance the touch, yet we have no wifi and 3g (we do have GPS whichs kicks ass!) not that 3g and wifi is neccesary, i think 3g and wifi have been disabled in our device.
pls read this thread, and if you can help with the files that would be great!

Touch Cube woks on Pharos
I installed Touch Cube (ported from Polaris) into Pharos the other days. Work fine for me...only a bit slower than 'Elfin, Dual, Polaris' while operating. Need some more registry adjustment, I guess.
Screen is not flat
It works on Pharos, I have tried and finally removed.
BTW, I don't think running Cube in Pharos is good because the LCD screen is not flat like Elf/Elfin, Dual or Cruise.

It might not be, but it wasnt a good idea for the touch cruise either because they dont have the grapics driver ive heard complaints that its very slow on the polaris
I still want it .. because then i can choose whether to keep it or not... its mostly eye candy anyway. I find the htc home plugin works great too
Shame I didnt get a reply from suracha, bita would you like to share what you did to get the cube installed and working?
Here is where i am.
I have installed touch stettings v1.22 by Carlos(fatattitude.com)
I installed the Kokotas cabs quickdial and Biotouch.
Also I've put files in the windows dir: MediaHubMini.exe, APLauncher.exe,LaunchStartupApp.lst and startupbiotouch.exe
A guy that has the polaris has sent me his reg settings.. so now Im looking through those!
And it seems i miss some in the hklm\biotouch so Im gonna look some more and then change my settings maybe that will help!
Hi there, wonder if any 1 can help me here.
I've just purchased guitar hero 3 with an activation code for my Diamond. I started the installer and chose the htc diamond from the list of devices and it installed no problem. I started it up on the diamond entered my activation code and it just when back to the home screen. It wont start when i click the GH3 icon it just flashes black and goes to the home screen. I've tried soft reset and that did nothing.
Any Ideas?
GH3 dont work with the diamond. The problem is also with the demo version of the game.
So why does the installer have it in its list?
I have no idea, maybe it works on old roms. But i never heard that anyone got it working.
There is another thread here with the same discussion. Search for it, maybe someone got a solution for the problem.
Has anyone gotten this to work on the Diamond yet?
nope it's still not working, i enter my key to active product (i can get to that screen) but after i've entered the key it restarts and then just always quits to desktop, very lame as it would be an awesome game

Claim the game and get yourself a refund.
It doesn't work on this or the Raphael, even the new v1.10 version. From what i read on another forum, there are compatibility issues with VGA devices.

the only way is to wait for an updated version
GH is not compatible with vga screens yet. They say the are working on a version that will be compatible.

There is a program to switch your resolution from vga to wvga... maybe it works when you change your resolution.

So I tried this but the only option was 640x480 to 480x480 and that mode didn't work, if there was a way to get 320x240 I bet it would work.

I just got an unlocked niki100 last week and it is my first HTC
I just wanted to know which apps are necessary to install to get the most out of the Dual. I am mostly looking for freeware and something that does not need internet to work.
Also, do htc touch apps work on the touch dual?
