I just got an unlocked niki100 last week and it is my first HTC
I just wanted to know which apps are necessary to install to get the most out of the Dual. I am mostly looking for freeware and something that does not need internet to work.
Also, do htc touch apps work on the touch dual?

Ive seen loads of videos on the tinternet with people using wizards and my device the xda mini s.
with a couple of really cool app called touchflo and slide2unlock.
Ive had a look on here and there is various versions and im not sure which one 2 get
can someone point me in the correct direction to the cabs to these 2 fantastic apps.
Im currently running a wm5 rom which is the standard aku2 rom for O2.

Download version 1.81 from the bottom of the first post, install it, and then use the most recent patch.

ok got my wizard back after a screen fault.
can someone tell me how the hell u get slide 2 unlock to work ?
as the unlock progy...
if i run it as normal it works fine but apart from that im lost.
its ok ive sorted it now

Hello to everyone on here.
Recently just took delivery off a Vodafone v1615 / Tytan II but disappointed that the touch flo interface is not intalled . so im wanting to check out a few things to see if its possible to install it.
1. whats the best release / version of the touch flo interface to use .
2. is it easy to do with semi technical experience
3. also who is the best person on here to speak to , to get it working using the latest version
4 what can i do if it goes pear shape when installing it.
Any help would be apprieciated.

I've got a tytn, and im using slithers cube launcher port flash.. (sclpf) its in beta 7. its excellent and has 4 sides. this is the touch cube im talking about.. to run it you need flash light.. and another program called ftouchflo. this program assigns finger gestures to programs. it also enables you to scroll in normal programs. and to use sclpf, you can use the old one, but if you want a recent one, you have to donate. this is because

nope, the original tytn, but all the programs needed work on all devices with wm6, so should be fine with the tytn ii...

I am the proud new owner of a Touch Dual, may I ask what upgrades/modifications you guys recommend and advice on how to do them, (I am a very basic computer used so please don't baffle me!)
Also does anyone know how I can get TomTom on my phone? I did have it having bought the software from EBay but that was for a Simbian phone and I don't think it will work on this phone? (I know I will need an external GPS received)

One of the best bits of software i have found is mobile shell, works really nicely with the touch dual. I have just installed Tomtom on my dual and it works a treat but unfortunately for you the symbian version will not work with the dual. You need the windows mobile version. If your going to buy it i would hang on for now as version 7 is apparently due out soon so it may be worth waiting for that.

he is probably talking about SPB's Mobile Shell, which I also have on my dual. it's a nice add-on.

i recently buyed an HTC PPC 6800 here in Venezuela... its basically very antiqued in the radio aspect and in the rom... ( its currently running ROM: 2.18.558.1 and Radio 1.67.00, yeah i know it sucks) but thats not the issue
i installed the HTC Home Plugin becasue i Like it (i was a proud owner of an HTC Touch) but i am having some trouble with the contacts tab... the tab appears perectly but i can´t add any contact to it...
i really need help... i don't know what else to do... is there any process to add the contact that im not aware of???

im think of part exchanged my touch pro for htc tattoo, and i just want to know if i can unlock at home from software like i could with htc touch pro, or do i need to pay for it to be done.

to my knowledge u need to pay for it ie if u are asking about sim unlock
but to root their are many tools to do that for free
