Euroglot
It is a bit bulky but it has English, French, German, Dutch, Italian and Spanish and you can choose which languages you want for input and output. Works great!!

Thanks,
Euroglot is just what i was looking for. installed it on my storagecard and it works smooth.

Hi
I am a newbie at Windows Mobile en specific my brand new Qtek 2020. In these forums I read that e.g. updates are country specific and can be edited before upgrade. Now is my question: I bought my Qtek in the Nethelands but there not a single program in dutch (e.g. SMS has a sort of T9 function, but only with english words and not dutch words)
I have set my Qtek to Dutch Region Settings etc, but still.....
What makes a Ducth Qtek Dutch and an Dansk Qtek Dansk etc.
Arjan
they change the text and translate the text to the other language
so to change the language one have to change the rom
but far from all languages are supportet
dansk is not
dont think any of the scandinavian languages are
not sure about dutch
of cause the language of the rom dont change the language of software later installed on the device
imho much like normal windows then if one want a 1 language only on the system then english is the way to go otherwise it'll be a mixture of languages at best
I will look into that. I do not have any problem using English language, bterr yet I prefer to, however it would be great when sending SMS that T9 function works with dutch words instead of the english ones.
Any dutch Qtek users (or MDAII of SPV) have the same experience (try typing woorden and I get Worked or Wooden).
How can I set this to Dutch?

Recently bought a HTC Touch Cruise (Polaris) with Portuguese language and do not know how to get there the Cyrillic characters.
The strange is that when I receive messages the PDA recognizes very well such characters but I don't know how can I write them there.
At XDA I found some "*.cab" to use but I'm afraid that using one of them I will lose my Portuguese keyboard...
So, I would ask if anyone knows, has or may indicate a track so I can also get the Cyrillic characters without loose my portuguese keyboard?
Thanks.
You can use PCM Keyboard. It's free.
Then, you will have 2 layout; Russian and Portuguese.

Thanks a lot!
I saw inside the ".cab" and there isn't portuguese language...
It means that I must execute him just to add a new keyboard without erase my actual portugue keyboard?
there IS russian layout for touch keyboards... but I just don't know how to configure it... yet
If you set Pcm Keyboard, it will not erase your portuguese keyboars since PCM and HTC Keyboard are 2 different keyboards.
Portuguese layout is here.

Thanks!
I've instaled that keyboard and I've changed it because there was not the leter Ë nor ë (they were missing).
I put them near the "X","x". So that, I put shorter the "<-"...
To make a diccionary I've selected words from a full rusian site (deleting duplicates) but the sugestions are not showed when I'm writing...
Do you know why....?

As I said before I've instaled version 0,13 in HTC with Portuguese ROM and it was ok.
But now I had to install v0,14 and both Touch Keyboard (simple and numeric) and now only the numbers works... Letters and signals are off...
How can I solve this?...

I tested thisone, but it isn't really good, and I don't want to pay over 30EUR for a software that isn't like I want...
Do you know an other one, may be free may be not... I'm looking for something where I can enter a text which will be translated. And I need it from German to: (Fench), English, Polish, (Ungarish) ... The both between brackets aren't really needed...
try SlovoED
http://www.penreader.com/pocket-pc-dictionaries/index.html
and use Resident Module.
Did you try online services like Google Translate?
And may I ask, what is the purpose of your translation?
Please note that any automatic translator makes text look silly for any native reader.
But they may be useful if you just want to catch the essense of the story.
I use Pocket Promt and it's very nice (english to spanish and vice versa).

@speereo
I need it almost at work. I work at L.I.F.T. and there I have to speak with Truck-Drivers. In German, French, English, Polish, Spanish, Hungarish, and some times Russish. But what I really need is Polish, Spanish and Hungarish...
Luxembourgish, German, Frensh and English, there I don't really need a translator because I know to speak... English there I have to find the words but my English is ok. Lux., Ger. and French I can speak fluent...
@kareem9nba
I will have a look at this...
I've read somewhere this one should be very good:
http://www.lingvosoft.com/
Don't have experience with it......
I'm not sure that this software meets your requirements. Multilanguage dictionaries are usually for common conversational language.
Lingvo, ectaco & slovoed have additional downloadable dictionaries. But I was unable to find one for Hungarian.
More likely you need something specialized like this:

The review on this book is not so good though

Hi guys,
I have a txt file that includes all words in my language. Is it possible to remove all the English words in T9 and add my words? Thanks.
Would like to know this too.
Anyone????
1+ for that , i like to know as well
What language are we talking about?
Does it matter? Well, I'd add some Slovenian words, some Serbian, Bosnian etc. And the words that are not in the dictionary (those when you say it)
You can set your language as default xt9 dictionary and delete the others if thats what you want.
I'd like to have Slovenian XT9, but don't have any files. Is it possible?
What files should I get, to make it possible?
Found this: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/goglobal/bb895996.aspx
But I don't know how to help myself with this. Can someone help me please to get Slovenian XT9?
It's nowhere on the forums
I suggest you download SlideIt and do the bulk update. (Read the manual).
swype is a good alternative
I have translated my app in five languages: italian, english, french, spanish, german.
I'm able to work easily in italian/french/english and I'm looking for partners would like to translate theirs apps in these languages, sharing knowledges and enlarging my language pack with others. Who would like to share translations?
As an example: I translate your app in italian, you translate my app in portuguese.
To be more friendly, let's use a comparable number of words between the apps.....
