Hi Stefano, i didn't exactly understand what are you looking for, however for voip services you can check here:
http://www.voipbuster.com/en/index.html
http://www.voipcheap.com/en/index.html
http://www.voipdiscount.com/en/index.html
http://www.voipstunt.com/en/index.html
or here
http://www.voip-rates.net/it/index.php
http://www.voipproviderslist.com/
and use any client software; there are a lot free, like fring, SJphone, or you can also use the WM6 Voip app, look here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=338146&highlight=kaiser+voip
I hope to help you,
google is your friend
ciao

Hi Stefano
Like dom said ... You can use voipstunt or voipdiscount together with SJ Phone. I have used on WM6 and it works flawlessly over wifi in India.
just create a account on any of the services listed above(Voipstunt/Voipdiscount) and then use the SIP settings listed on their site to configure the SJ Phone client.
Hope this helps.

Hi,
Anyone knows any free VOIP softphone for O2 Exec which allows to configure to use third-party SIP providers (e.g. sipdiscount, sipgate etc.) ?
Thanks!
SV
use skype
Sorry, I meant to configure with SIP protocol.
sjphone, works fine
With SJPhone, at the moment, when calling, you have to use loud speakers or headset not the phone speaker. Is it right?
Thanks!
That happens with any phone edition device.. Apps don't have access to the other speakers...
Re Sip
I have tried many. However most free products are generic to a provider,
Successful products are:
Xten lite from xten Networks
SJ Phone this is the best and is easily configured to multiple profiles.
It intergrates nicely with our office Sip server too,

May I know what is SIP protocol?
Is it different with Skype protocol? Is SIP protocol is a standard one?
Thx.

Arto.

SIP is a standard - most VOIP application and hardware uses it.
I meen: SIP RFC 3261
Skype is a own protocol and only skype clients can connect each other using skype soft phone or by skype gateway.
I guess that the source is not public.
I use AGEphone.
http://www.ageet.com/us/
It is not Free.
But, maybe best.
Files are light, but works very well.
the sound is very clear.
We can use SIPdiscount, VoipBuster, VoipStunt, StanaPhone, SIPphone, Free World DialUp, Agilephone, etc all at the same time.
I installed SJPhone and could get connected. I could dial my cell phone number and it will ring my cell phone.
But there is no sound whatsoever in my Universal/JJ.
Can anybody help me? Did I miss something? I tried to plug in my headset but no luck as well.
Thanks.
Also, may I know which version of SJPhone you guys use?
Can you send the link for the download? I can only find the one for 2003SE and 2003, nothing for WM5.
Since I didn't see a follow-up post by anyone, I'd like to say that the SJPhone for Windows 2003 SE works with the universal *only in portrait mode*.
Has anyone [other than shamilsh] tried the ageet soft phone suggested in this thread?
Does Skype work over GPRS or just 3G?
Regards.
Just for text messages, skype is ok with GRPS - but for voice you need 3G oder WLAN.
Hi
Any sip cliente for wm5 that have G.729 (8 kbps) or G.723 (5.3 & 6.3 kbps codecs ?
sj phone only 711 or their own gsm....

Is that need 3G as in would be slow, or need as in can't do it...
Just that GPRS is free for the T-Mobile plan I'm using, but think I have to pay for 3G (Relax + Web & Walk thing)
are there any programs that allow routing of the sound to phone speakers instead of main speakers?
Guys....just use sj phone with sip service from voipbuster.com and forget the rest.... and now you are talking....FREE and with free local rate call back number also...now...that ROCKS

I was using the Fring VOIP software to talk to my friends in GoogleTalk! and Skype. Fring is a unified interface for both and it worked good on my EDGE connection. Now that I have ordered for a 8125 , I want to have a similar setup in it also.
I heard that with some difficulty, you can make skype work. But what about the Google Talk! VOIP?.
Is there any Client Software which allows to do it in Windows Mobile Platform? ( Like Fring ).
Thanks.
_Vinod
unfortunately, i learned that Fring will not be supported on windows Mobile platform. Its Only for Nokia N-series. It is unfortunate that such a unique software not available for a popular & powerful platform like wm5.
If anyone knows how to do voip calls to Google Talk! buddies from wm5 phone
without a desktop proxy etc.. please let me know.
The Ultimate VOIP for WinMo 6.1 Devices?? Anyone?

I am fully interested in VOIP for my WinMo device also (AT&T Tilt)
ROM: dutty's WM6.1 WWE
Radio: 1.65.14.06
Protocol Version: 25.81.40.02H
Did antone find out about Google Talk or is there another thread on using it for VOIP? Can you call landlines and/or are there any restrictions to using it like having to pay for usage etc. From what I understand using skype requires credits but wasn't sure.
Also any comments on switching from 3G to WIFI automatically and or battery drainage. Has anyone found the ultimate third party VOIP software yet for WinMo is my most immediate and pressing question.

Hello,
I've been using the TyTn for a few months now and I still haven't found a good quality SIP compatible Dialer...
Of course i've tried all the well known voip applications ( SJPhone, Skype and even Bewip etc. ) but none of them come close to a good replacement of the default TyTn dialer.
Actually I though bewip would do the trick as it integrates well with the contacts but quality sucks, I have to use the headset to have acceptable quality call...
I just wanted to know if any of you were using their TyTn as a VoIP device over WiFi and been satified with their software...
Thanks
Not SIP, bux IAX...I travel a lot and use VoIP in airport lounges etc. SIP usually does not get me through the local firewall. IAX protocol is much better and smarter in that regard, so I would recommend you to look at it if you like: http://www.voipsurfer.net/, around 25 euros and a simple interface.
use sjphone, is free and it use the stunt server!!!Free phone for all home number!!!

Can u tell me ur Sjphone settings? I got an account with VoipBuster for SJPhone but when i try it 2 use it in my TYTN, I always get a registratio error message... Thank you!
Usually when the internet access is "locked" I redirect all the trafic through an openvpn server that runs on port 443...
The problems with voipsurfer and SJPhone is that they aren't replacement dialers. You don't have access to the Phonebook. If you want a good quality call, you absolutely need a headset ( you can't use them as a phone ).
I just wonder why there is no such software on the Windows Mobile plateform : The lateste nokia/sony-erricson etc. handset features well integrated VoIP solutions...

Anyone know of voip software that works with a bluetooth headset and mic (R35), as my wired headset is broken (I don't like it anyway as the buds are too big for my ears), and SJPhone doesn't seem to work with it (I hear no sound, nobody hears me).
AGEPHONE
it was an never ending story for me untill i found agephone. http://www.ageet.com/us/agephone/index.htm
you can try it with - there is a shareware version with that you can do calls for one minute, so you are able to check out the bluetooth compability.
STUN Support is given here too!

I would appreciate it if you could help me with configuration settings for free world dialup, or point me to comprehensive documentation. I have completely failed to make the correct settings using the support settings on the ageet site, also from the fwd help. The problem is that I don't understand which information to add in the configuration screens, as the labels to the forms are unfamiliar to me and do not seem to equate to the account and server information which fwd provide.
I would like to use STUN.
Any help you can provide would be appreciated.
No SJPhone client for WM5?
I couldn't find the WM5 SJPhone client on their site.
Only for PPC2003.
Anybody can tell me where it does reside?
Thanks,
Arnie
Checkout the WM5 version under this URL
http://www.sjphone.org/preview/SJphone-1.60-WindowsCE(preview)/
thanks.. however
Thanks
Found it.. however...
It doesn't work through my Draytek NAT.
Skype does work flawlessly.
Will try again when my new router arrives.
Might work better.
Thanks!
Arnie
One last call before abandonning.
I have very few of the problems most people associate with the tytn. No screen issues, no problems with skipping under a2dp, nada.
apart from one....
I cannot find a functional voip program using either the handset mic and speaker, or a bluetooth headset. I cannot use the wired headset.
Somebody recommended agephone but I am completely unable to configure the phone to owrk with free world dialup.
Can anybody recommend a suitable solution, or help me configure agephone?
I am using SJPhone gladly with success.
I just would like to have video support.
Any SIP client with video support ?
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...5E-5F3B-47D2-955B-B0C1DEAC94D8&displaylang=en
thank you.
Microsoft Office Communicator Mobile may be a good choice, but I think it only runs with an LCS server which I don't have.
Do you know if it works with generic SIP server/proxy ?

Without the wired headset? It doesn't work even close to acceptably with the speaker and mic, for me, and I can't get it to work at all with a bluetooth headset.
hi trentend,
SJphone works with my mono bluetooth headset if I use the patch supplied by cybertron at following thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=278778
try it...
now, I only need video support. real video SIP support.
I tried Wengophone before worked good with my S200 now that i've got an vario II i'm gonna try and look if it's still as good.
Go to wengophone.com and look under download tab.
think this is one of the better ones.
works great

This program seems pretty cool. Is there anyway to make voip calls for free or do you have to pay for a service like skype?
all crap!
only integrated wm6 voip client is useful. in combination with speaker to earphone speaker switcher.
