Just tried this new app for pocket pcs to the desktop computer. Set-up was easy and I made a call from my desktop to my pocket pc , and then reversed it and made a call from my pocket pc to my desktop. All calls are FREE. You can download it here http://www.ineen.com/
Well, given the release has almost 3 years now, I don't see this as new as you

hello,
i`m searching for a answering machine for my xda.
I´m realy sick about the fücking service providers and
and how they make money with the answering services.
many years ago, i`ve had a hagenug phone with
inbuild answering machine. that was before the
ericsson 197 model comes on the market. (8-10 years ago)
but i think that the providers manipulatet the mobile phone manufacturers and sold them much money, that the don`t build in answering machines.
many of the actual handys has got the capabilitiys to sample the incoming sound. (voice memo functions)
but no one has got an inbuild answering machine.
for symbian handys a software is available.
lool at: http://www.symbianware.com/product.php?id=sanswer60&lang=en
but its for the lame Nokia 3650,7650,Sony P800 phones.
DOM
I have Motorola P7689 for many years, it comes with build-in voice mail system.
yes but the motorola isn`t a solution for my xda
or i install a motorola emu *lol*
DOMin8or did you managed to get any application to that. I am looking for an answering machine for my XDA II but i couldn't find any.
No answering machine!
Hi there,
more then a year ago I had the same question for my XDA, but no answer. Just search the forum for "answering machine" and you find my (and other) questions. One thing I found out was that HP had an answering machine program on one of their Jornadas(568). (I think it never came to market)
So, if you succeed in finding such a program, let me know.
Greetings,
Kaputter
The answering machine was on the Jornada 928 and it did come to market and worked very well indeed.

Hi,
I'm currently doing a project and i'm using a xdaII.
Platform: PocketPC xdaII Intel(R) PXA263 400Mhz
Memory: 128 MB
ROM version: 1.60.00WWE
Protocol version: 1337.18
ExtROM version: 1.60.44
Connection: USB ActiveSync Version 3.7 (Build 3083)
Host PC: Microsoft Window XP Professional 2002 With Service Pack 1
What I have done so far:
I have create a application using VB.NET for the xdaII fone. the application is suppose to send and receive sms. I have successfully sent sms out of the phone,
Problem/Question:
1.
However, I am stuck at the interception of the received sms. I've read through the MSDN website but some of the API functions have been depreciated and further more there isn't any samples or good VB.NET reference on reading SMS.
Where is the location of the sms messages that is stored (from what I know/read, the sms is from the inbox), but how do I retrieve it from it and display it on the VB.NET application?
2.
Is it that I have used the wrong language? I've tried using j2me midlet to send/receive sms. But I need to know how to use the push registry and the sms port number.
3.
Upon receiving a message from a certain sender, how do i auto-acknowledge it?

Hope somebody can help. I'm rushing for time. Your help will be greatly appreciated.
developing posts are more a hacking it forum kinda of post
i think you'll find that the chance of getting a reply in the forum is greater
and since fewer posts are made there your post is less likely to get pushed out of the main page and forgotten
Guys i found this which is used to give a property to the pocket msn on our pda`s which makes the pda able to use its camera as a web-cam.

it doesn't change msn, it is a separate program that is in beta testing.
well....thank you for your good news
but i'd like to wait for a stable version..
they are testing it for a year by now and still no result... i`ve tried this before, it only recognizes some major brand devices cameras, i have no idea if it will work with hermes.
hi guys,
this question has nothing to do with the PC.
i mean strictly on the PPC, can i do this?
thanks!
Webcam Chat With Front Camrea Over Msn Mobile
with this program from microsoft, you can sign in to your msn and make a video call with the ones on your list. Two things i should say;
fisrt, this program does not use front camera, only the back camera can be used, and other friend should have this program installed in his PPC too..
There is also a seperate PC software which is used for making video call on PC, otherwise man on pc can not see your video coming from your PPC...
install and play for a while, you will understand the usage easily.
By the way, both GPRS and WiFi are supported. And both are the latest versions. I hope you are using windows mobile 5, because with windows mobile 6, sometimes program can make some problems.. Like you can not see client, but client can see you, or vice versa...

Hello all,
Does any one have a .CAB file for an active version of Office Mobile 2010 - i.e., the version that won't expire?
I can't for the life of me find it!
And, to make things worse, my device won't connect the the Marketplace store.
Thanks for your help,
Simon
