Original ROM 1.40.408.1 ITA - I HOPE!!

Hi to all,
I followed the guide to dump the rom, I hope to be successful .. Someone may try and tell me if it works? On strength, be brave!

Hello... u have tested the rom or u have dumped only in italian... sorry for my english

I haven't tested this rom: only because if I try to install it and isn't 1.40.408.1 version I lost the possibility to try again to dump the rom!! I'm looking for someone who can try this rom....

which changes have you been done?

No one... It's the original rom extracted from my polaris after it come back from assistance. If it works, who have this rom can install cooked rom and come back to original rom when they want (for example to send pda in warranty).

belle cose... anche io sno italiano... cavolo sti siti in inglese mi mettono in ginocchio... ti volevo chedere se la tua rom è del polaris e visto che anche io ho il polaris con rom 1.25 aspetto che abbia finito di scaricarla e la metto all'istante... ma come hanno fatto a metterla su se in giro, mi riferisco ai siti ufficiali, non c'e' niente??? comuque appena l'ho scaricata la provo. sto anche aspettando che sistemino la rom di udk syrius r0, è bellissima ma ha dei grossi bachi.

HTC Home 6 tab (wm6.1)

yesterday I upgraded to wm6.1 and I added the following to the registry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\HTC\HTCHome
Value Name: Tabsetting
Value Data: 1,2,3,4,5,6
I still see 6 tabs, on wm6.0 I got 5 afther adding the above value
after deleting
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\OEM\MASD\Quickdial
I got 5 tabs and not 6.
I already did an hard reset and now I haven't deleted Quickdial.
How can I get my 6 tabs back?

OK, so its not my phone.
Anyone with a solution?

I have installed this .cab (1. HTC.Home.v2.1.1005.722) that you can find in the manilla 2d update 15 files and i have the 6 tabs...
but when clicking the music tab it launches Windows Media Player instead of the HTC Audio Manager!!!
If someone knows how to solve this, please answer!!

descobri também que alguns programas interferem com o biotouch e fazem com que o cube não apareça!
Para aqueles que querem actualizar o TomTom mas não conseguem desinstalar a versão da rom:
1- desactivem TomTom do Today
2- mudem a tecla de acesso ao GPS para outro programa
3- se ainda assim não conseguirem desinstalar, apaguem os ficheiros da pasta /tomtom e da pasta /Programas/Navigator e desinstalem

also find out that some programs interfeer with biotouch unabeling it from apearing!
For those who want to upgrade TomTom but you cant unninstall the rom version:
1- uncheck TomTom from Today
2- change the hard key that access TomTom to another program
3- if still you cant unninstall, delete files from folder /tomtom and from folder /programs/navigator and unninstall

anyone found a reg solution to get 6 tabs? i've got now 4 and I'm not happy with it, I used all 6 tabs.

Do somebody know which 6 tab version works on offical wm6.1 and how do I install it?
Every ones I tried killed my TC.

You have to disable TOMTOM Today plugin, and everything will be OK!

Pour audio player,dans le registre à la clé HKLM/software/HTC/music plugin, la valeur 2 active audio manager à la place de windows média lorsque tu tapes sur l'icône audio.

First disable the old HTC Home plugin (and Tomtom home plugin too). After install the 6-tab version.

Hi, I have got a problem with the "HTC Home 6 Tab Plugin" mentioned before in this thread.
I have successfully installed the 6 tab plugin and I changed the standard music player which uses the music tab to the WM-Audio Manager by using Schaps Advanced Config tool.
My problem is the weather tab. It seems that all city locations have disappeared. I can't enter cities or locations. Maybe the location library is missing.
has anyone else encountered this problem? Maybe you have a solution for me.

Blackstone unusable - maybe a time-bomb in LPHD 2.1 ITA ROM

Starting this morning my blackstone was totally unusable, after initial "htc, smart mobility" message the screen displays the following message:
"con questo si conclude il test della versione beta del software
il suo fondamentale contributo ci consentirà di adattare ulteriormente il prodotto alle esigenze dei nostri clienti" wich in English sounds more or less: "the beta testing period is over, your fundamental contribution will help us to further improve the product to fulfill our customer's needs"
With this message on the screen no operation was possible, no PC-sync works.
I performed a factory reset but nothing changes, the blackstone remains a stone.
I performed a factory reset again changing the system date do 05-30-2009 and now the blackstone is working again. Now I'll try to change my ROM.
Any suggestion for a ROM without time-bomb ?
I also expect a reply by INFIDO the cook of LPHD 2.1 ROM

This is only rom I can think of besides an en early Dutty rom which would have this timebomb though I haven't heard of anyone else mentioning it. Have you tried asking people in his rom thread?
Plenty of other roms out there to use and this depends on whether you want wm6.1 or wm6.5. But this is opinionated, so best advice is to go out there and try them.

Thanks so much for your reply, I tried several ROMs on my Blackstone but now I was using the LPHD 2.1 ROM by a couple of months without any problem so it is difficult for me to understand why you mentioned an early Dutty ROM.
Now I’ll try to flash the official 1.56 ITA ROM and I'll hope no time bomb is there.

Problem with camera.exe custom rom wm6.5 build 23563

hi to all.
According to the release of my first rom i need an imminent help.
I've made a rom based on wm6.5 build 23563.
The flashing was all done and the rom seems to be stable and fast but i have a problem with the camera that seems doesn't work.
everytime i press the camera icon i got a pop-up error message that say:
"unable to open the file camera..."
"impossibile aprire il file camera. firma digitale con certificato attendibile non disponibile o impossibile trovare uno dei componenti. se il problema persiste reinstallare o ripristinare il file."
it seems to be a digital signature problem.
how i can fix it?

do you have the "camera.lnk" in your OEM driver?
do you have the Camera EXT package?

I'm trying to cook a rom for a touch diamond (P3700) and it seems to be all ok in the kitchen with the OEM driver and EXT camera package. maybe the missing file can be "camera.ink" ?

Hd2 full work all days rom froyo!!

I am really tired! many cooks but no rom that works properly!
Hd2 I use for work with a rom htc data2ext sense (and all the hardware working) to work permanently!
