Starting this morning my blackstone was totally unusable, after initial "htc, smart mobility" message the screen displays the following message:
"con questo si conclude il test della versione beta del software
il suo fondamentale contributo ci consentirà di adattare ulteriormente il prodotto alle esigenze dei nostri clienti" wich in English sounds more or less: "the beta testing period is over, your fundamental contribution will help us to further improve the product to fulfill our customer's needs"
With this message on the screen no operation was possible, no PC-sync works.
I performed a factory reset but nothing changes, the blackstone remains a stone.
I performed a factory reset again changing the system date do 05-30-2009 and now the blackstone is working again. Now I'll try to change my ROM.
Any suggestion for a ROM without time-bomb ?
I also expect a reply by INFIDO the cook of LPHD 2.1 ROM

This is only rom I can think of besides an en early Dutty rom which would have this timebomb though I haven't heard of anyone else mentioning it. Have you tried asking people in his rom thread?
Plenty of other roms out there to use and this depends on whether you want wm6.1 or wm6.5. But this is opinionated, so best advice is to go out there and try them.

Thanks so much for your reply, I tried several ROMs on my Blackstone but now I was using the LPHD 2.1 ROM by a couple of months without any problem so it is difficult for me to understand why you mentioned an early Dutty ROM.
Now I’ll try to flash the official 1.56 ITA ROM and I'll hope no time bomb is there.

Hello... u have tested the rom or u have dumped only in italian... sorry for my english
I haven't tested this rom: only because if I try to install it and isn't 1.40.408.1 version I lost the possibility to try again to dump the rom!! I'm looking for someone who can try this rom....

which changes have you been done?
No one... It's the original rom extracted from my polaris after it come back from assistance. If it works, who have this rom can install cooked rom and come back to original rom when they want (for example to send pda in warranty).

belle cose... anche io sno italiano... cavolo sti siti in inglese mi mettono in ginocchio... ti volevo chedere se la tua rom è del polaris e visto che anche io ho il polaris con rom 1.25 aspetto che abbia finito di scaricarla e la metto all'istante... ma come hanno fatto a metterla su se in giro, mi riferisco ai siti ufficiali, non c'e' niente??? comuque appena l'ho scaricata la provo. sto anche aspettando che sistemino la rom di udk syrius r0, è bellissima ma ha dei grossi bachi.

Hi everybody,
I post this new thread for italians to pick up all impression about roms localized in our language:
- which do you prefere and why?
- which have you tested and what is good or bad during your test?
At the moment I've AxLor V.1 on my HD2, I'd like to install a new ROM but I cannot decide between AxLor V.2 and Artemis HD2 ROM Ver 2.5, that are the two ROMS I've seleceted in XDA.
AxLor, based on an older OS revision and an older Manila version, seems to be preferred, but Artemis is based on the last version of OS and Manila, so you can have all new solutions.
Has anybody tested this two ROMS and can help me to decide? Which good or bad from each?
Try the new Dutty, you won't need anything else

Can you share for others exactly what you did to get the 576? I know I read in another thread fards used 2.02 test ROM and the radio 2.6.50.4.
Can we just use the drivers from OEM drivers and the Radio 2.6.50.4? Or do we have to use the 2.02 OEMXIPKernel and SPL 2.02?

they did nothing. i see ur using the lost in asia rom, all u have to do is just flash the 2.06.50.04 radio and u'll see the 576mb of ram. it will work with the lost in asia rom cuz it's based on the 2.01 rom..i know this works cuz i'm on the 0.5 version of lost in asia

It's more than just the Radio. I just tried on my ROM Lost in AsiaV0.5 23518 and I get 448 mb of RAM. My ROM is based on 1.66 with 2.02 Packages.
Ok, i now have 576Mb of ram but there appears on face value to be an unfortunate side effect.
Check out the screen shot I have gone from 339.7MB of Ram with roughly 166 free to just over 209mb with 42 free
I am using Toms V1.1 whicvh is based on 2.02 so as BobsBBQ says there is more than just a radio flash to get this working.
Anyway Nice work Michy for this, if i was italian i would use it. Also have you noticed this issue as well?

According to the release of my first rom i need an imminent help.
I've made a rom based on wm6.5 build 23563.
The flashing was all done and the rom seems to be stable and fast but i have a problem with the camera that seems doesn't work.
everytime i press the camera icon i got a pop-up error message that say:
"unable to open the file camera..."
"impossibile aprire il file camera. firma digitale con certificato attendibile non disponibile o impossibile trovare uno dei componenti. se il problema persiste reinstallare o ripristinare il file."
it seems to be a digital signature problem.
how i can fix it?

do you have the "camera.lnk" in your OEM driver?

I'm trying to cook a rom for a touch diamond (P3700) and it seems to be all ok in the kitchen with the OEM driver and EXT camera package. maybe the missing file can be "camera.ink" ?
Hi, my omnia7 is at OS version 7.10.8773.98 and firmware 2424.11.11.2. Today microsoft relocked my device and started to unistall all patched apps I opened. My question is, since I can't re-unlock my omnia7, could I downgrade to a previous firmware? Thanks.
