Camera? Taking Bad Pictures? help plz - 8125, K-JAM, P4300, MDA Vario General

i just bought my girlfriend a new cell phone and her camera takes some awsome pics and it has a flash
i know that the t mobile mda has a flash but its always on so it sucks and the pictures come out pix elated n blurry so i was wondering if their is a way to fix that? mayb a 3rd party camera program id really appreciate the help!

CoolCamera is an app that can increase quality a little bit.
And there are some registry tweaks but I never saw any difference when applying them.
Actually the MDA's camera is that bad. That's one of the reasons for which I'm getting the HTC Touch Cruise now.

T mobile wing video camera

Im a huge video taker and was very excited when i was getting the wing. I new it had a 2mp camera. But was dissapointed that its resolution only goes up to 176x128 (or somethin like that.) does any one know what i can do to take videos in better resolution??
Im new to this site and just got the wing
I know there is a HTC camera for the tilt but when i tried to download it, it installed wrong. Is there a different one?
Maybe theres even an update. idk im not good with this stuff. HELP PlEaSe
I agree- the Wing's video recorder is very disappointing.
It's weird because I actually think that the camera is surprisingly good! People are impressed all the time with the photos I take with my wing. Best out of any camera phone that I've ever owned or used.
As far as the video- I'm not sure why it's so bad, but I'm guessing it's a limitation of the processor. I tried Ateksoft's Coolcamera, and that actually did let me record video that was higher resolution. The frame rate suffered some (got a little blurry), but the main problem was that the colors get all distorted. Reds turn blue and things like that. That seems like a software issue so I hold out some hope that with the software bugs zapped, and maybe the processor OC'ed (I keep mine at 286), that there may be an improvement in the future.....
Ya i downloaded that camera and it didnt work very well. So does any one no of annother
Even if u just leave me a list of cameras i can try i mean it cant hurt to try.

R3A Camera Results/ Samples?

Could anybody inform me of the changes with camera performance with the new update? (other than auto flash and geotagging)
How fast is it to load and focus? what are the images like?
All reviews i have read are based on the old software, so wondering if those reviews would have been much better if using newer firmware?
Any samples?
Many Thanks.
Here you go.. photos taken in Hamburg yesterday with my X1, smabergs 6.0 ROM with the new Camera and HTC Camera..
Same place, different app:
R3A: http://img80.imageshack.us/img80/5708/dsc0025a.jpg
HTC: http://img147.imageshack.us/img147/240/imag0004f.jpg
I don't know if it's a problem with smabergs ROM, but focusing takes ~1-2s and then after ~8-10s the picture is taken.. terribly slow for me.
A collection from last weekend using the different focus methods.

Doesn't seem to be too slow

these pictures are never taken by the Xperia Camera xD
By the way, I was searching in R3A cam the self-timer / autotimer / automatic release, didnĀ“t find it. Can anybody help, or is this basic function missing?
thanks for the samples, dont look too bad.
But 10 secs to take a photo is really slow! anybody else experiencing this?
after a softreset, speed of the camera is back to normal.. 1-2s
Really 8 - 10 secs to take a shot ???
1- could be the SAT link time
2- could be the flash charge time
I am pleased with the results, it is not a PRO camera: it's a phone with camera and I don't expect PRO pics
IMHO it makes decent (not "brilliant" or "great") shots
I took this one with zero adjustments, just grabed phone from pocket and shot:
If I need better shots, I take my cybershot with me

Poor zoom on camera

i dont usually use my camera phone, but tried to use it yesterday and was extremely dissapointed in the zoom facility. didnt make much difference at all. my old omnia seemed to zoom in much further. am i stuck with this or has somone looked at a fix for this?
did a search but got loads of android stuff come up, which is useless to me.

Digital zoom is always poor, it just takes a snapshot of part of the picture and increases it's size - lowering the quality of the resultant image.
For zoomed pictures I prefer to use Canon EOD 5d Mark II with 300mm lens
HTC HD2 is a really great phone. Let me repeat - phone.
The camera it has can be good for taking pictures of business cards or for some augumented reality things, but not for anything more advanced.

yes, i understand it is a phone! however, the camera on my ole omnia zoomed in far more than the camera i have on the HD2 and wondered if there was some sort of tweak so that the zoom could be improved. do i need to repeat that? blimy ask a question and get sarcasm.

Poor Camera zoom.
Mike,
I totally agree. The camera zoom only enables x1.6 on the zoom which in my opinion is pointless. Given as stated earlier its a phone and not a camera, i cant think of any phones out there with worse zoom capabilities!
If there any tweak headz out there that could maybe edit the phone for at least x3 zoom capability on the camera that would be blinding!
Someone Do it'...........Please!

Shots with Wildfire camera

Hello buddies,
I have problem with my Wildfire camera. Pictures are very blurry. When I shot a car from 4-5 meters the car number can be recognized.
I took the phone many times to garantee service but they did not repair or change the phone.
Please attach pictures from Wildfire camera to make a comparison.

The car that you can read the licence plate on is like 4-5 meters away , the others are too far away. To take a pic of those you need a better camera.

Hi!
My Wildfire takes nice pistures. A few examples in attached rar.
I think there is something wrong with your camera or settings.
Check your settings in camera. Look if you have 5M resolution and HIGH quality.

That looks like a halfway decent picture.
Hows about some basic information first?
-What ROM are you using? (Custom or Stock)
-What Camera App Are you Using?
-Have You Messed Around With Any Settings?
These are important things to consider and can have an effect on the quality of pictures taken.
Also, you must realise that although capable of 5MP photos, the quality of the lens is not that good, therefore the end result is the quality of the photo's suffer. But for a telephone, it isnt too bad.
Hi!
The picture looks quite ok. Try to set autofocus off, that helped my Wildfire to take beter shots.
Now my Wildfire is in second service for testing.
I tried everything with settings(autofocus is ON and HIGH quality), I think that there is hardware problem but from first service I left the phone tells me that the phone is ok.
I do not know how to prove that the phone is not ok. Reseller company from which I bought the phone tells me that HTC Wildfire camera makes worst pictures than QVGA camera?!?!
The ROM is HTC stock with the last update and I'm using the default camera application.
I wanted to make a comparison with other Wildfire phones.
I will write to HTC with question is there a bad seria with camera problems ...

My company is HP Reseller, the picture is from EXPO 2000.
But it's not a question in that thread.
If you have a Wildfire, please attach some pictures, if you could show us pictures from where I'm working taken with Wildfire, it may helps me.
Here I'm attaching other pictures taken with my Wildfire ...
Use taping on the screen instead of using tracker when taking photos. You have to tap and hold the area that you want to focused.
I couldn't upload more because most of my photos are personal
And don't forget to maximize sharpness in settings.

I wrote to HTC ... now I am waiting for reply and proposal...
Hello,
it must be definitelly problem only with your camera. My WF makes pics not bad at all. But have to say that my previous E52 made better ones :-/
how can you get such a high quality picture?
have you changed any setting? if so please specify
i hardly get pictures in Mbs. its always near 700 or 800kbs
also if object is moving then the image is blurry
No, I am running absolutelly stock photocamera soft with high quality photos (you can set it in setting), 5Mpix. Photo quality depends mostly on light conditions.

[Need Help] Camera picture blurry after zoom

hey guys, So I've been struggling with this issue since the beginning, when I take a picture and then go to gallery to see it, it's ok overall but when I zoom it its very blurry and not as sharp as other phones that I compare it with, so when I compare with friend it's a shame as I actually have one of the best camera phones of 2016 (!!).
Anyway do u guys know what should I do?
The focus is good, my hands are not shaking and also I tried different gallery apps thinking maybe its not loading completely but thats not it.
I believe it is the image processing fault. I would like to know any idea to avoid this as well.
Maybe other camera app?
If you guys or anyone else know an app that would make a difference could you tell the name?
I tried some apps even paid ones and no luck
Deleted - Duplicate
yes.
I find that also, not bootloader unlocked.
strange.
