Hallo,
I have on my Kaiser the Shaps Rom 4.52 and it works fine. But I have a Problem with then HTC Network Plugin. I have a Notebook and a Buffalo Linkstation (NAS) in my Network. I can connect from my PocktPC to my Notebook very good without any Problems. But when I try to connect from my PocktPC to my NAS then then connection faild. Sooner I had the original Vodafone Rom on my PocketPC an I had installed Z2PocketLAN and sooner it had worked fine. But since I flashed my PocketPC, I can not connect with the NAS. I think its a problem in the Rom or in Windows Mobile. Can anyone help me?
PS: Sorry my English is not very good, but I think everybudy understand me

I searched the forum, and didn't find any solution for this problem.
The problem is I can connect to every network except my own. I can connect with my laptop to my network, my brothers computer connects fine to it, and the router never gave me any problems until now.
The router is a WRT54GX4, i am guessing it has something to do with the latest rom 2.26 not being able to connect to it because of the mimo "feature"
I heard that older qtek roms were able to connect to the router (could someone verify this?)
If they could connect could someone give me a link to an old compatible qtek firmware (i am sorta new to this and not sure which one would work)
Thank you.

I've been using ActiveSync for my iMate Jam for the past 2 years through the USB connection on my laptop.
Last week I signed up for a 3G broadband connection with MTN (South African company) and got a [email protected] E220 HSDPA modem which also connects through USB port.
Since installing it there seems to be something blocking ActiveSync through the USB as although ActiveSync does 'Connect', it can't synchronize. (Syncronise is lowlighted)
Uninstalling [email protected] fixes the problem, so it definately is something in that software conflicting with ActiveSync. Obviously uninstalling is not a workable solution as my broadband won't work, and I need it.
I've downloaded and installed the latest ActiveSync and [email protected] applications, but it made no difference.
My PC is a Dell Inspiron 640m running XP SP2 and my PPC is a iMate Jam running Windows Mobile 2003SE. I know ActiveSync uses port 990.
I've searched the www for a solution without success. Tried calling MTN support, but their techies were busy and not available..."
Has anyone got any suggestions on how I can fix this - Please.

Alternatively, if someone can point me at a website where I can find out how to set up synchronisation using BlueTooth between my Dell (Windows XP SP2) and iMate Jam (Windows Mobile 2003SE) I'd be very happy. I can only find sites that refer to other combinations and I'm unable to get it right.
Thanks
Hy folks,
I have a problem with my wlan.
my qtek 9100 finds - without problems - my network. But i can connect to it. My normal pc runs over the encryption wpa/psk without a 802.X-encryption. It runs without problems.
As i tried to activate 802.x, my 9100 could connect to the network, but my normal pc could not connect anymore.
but on my qtek, i could not switch off the button IEEE 802.x when i would like to install the network with wpa/psk
can someone help me to install my wlan working with ppc and pc?
thanx in advance
christian
Hi there,
at first: I'm sorry for my bad english! And: I hope I'm not in the wrong forum...
Following is the situation:
At work I've got two "stores" in two differend cities... These are connected to each other via two VPN-Routers (T-Com Speedport 400P). And that works great...
Now some of the workers should be able to dial in to the local network via VPN... That's because we use a Panasonic Telecommunication-System which has a Software for Windows Mobile to connect to the system as an "internal Phone" (don't know how to translate correct, sorry!)... In our network it work's perfect via WLAN, but outside our network you'll need a VPN because you can enter only the IP of the Main Unit, not a domain name (i.e. DynDNS). So I need to use a VPN Connection.
My problem is, that I'm not able to get the Windows-Mobile devices (I use a HTC TyTn II with an cooked rom from this site at Windows Mobile 6.1 Pro) connected to the Router... I tried IPSec/L2TP, only L2TP and PPTP... But no one of them works! Only at PPTP it seems that the devices try to talk to eachother... That means after a while the HTC says "The opposite side has canceled the connection" and the Speedport says "Waiting for an Answer..."
But that's all...
I searched the Web, asked in some other (German) Forums, but nobody could help me or wheter is it possible...
Maybe you could help me... I'd be happy if yes...
Thank you!
Greetings,
Alex
Hey i try the same, my situation is the folloeing:

I am having a problem with Internet Sharing on the O2 network in the UK. This used to work with Orange with the same handset, but a different ROM. I am currently using Miri v28 but am considering whether to move to the latest v34. Is it likely to be a problem with the ROM? When Internet Sharing starts, it seems to get a connection to the network OK, but the laptop does not get an IP address - "This connection has limited or no connectivity". I have spoken to O2 who have advised to speak to HTC as the phone does not have a problem with connecting to their network.
Has anyone got any ideas?
P.S. The phone appears in Device Manager (in the Laptop running XP) as "Windows Mobile Internet Sharing Device" and there do not appear to be any problems with this in Device Manager.
Thanks!
could be the ROM, ICS works with my o2 phone. try disabling any other network devices on your PC an see if that makes any difference. its worth noting tho that using a mobile with ICS makes your PC view websites like a mobile, it can be quite enoying.
