changing bootscreen-image at WM2003 SE

Can I change the bootscreen-image at a WM2003 SE ROM?
And by the way: how do I find the correct bitmap after extracting with pmemdump.exe which I can overwrite with my personal bootscreen-image?
I want to know it for WM2003 and WM2003 SE!

How to replace wince.nls?

Hi all, I have read many forums and I am trying to replace my wince.nls english version in replace of chinese wince.nls.
I got the NLS file and I have overwritten the /windows/wince.nls but I still can't the region.
I'm hoping someone can help me..
Also anyone know where I can get chinese/japanese/korean all in one font?

Same problem I am facing too. There is tons of info on how to get it done for 2002, 2003 and 2003 SE.
But when it comes to wm5, virtually nothing. Is this possible at all?

delete cab file after install

How to do ?
Eatch time when i install a cab file after the installation the cab is deletted !
Any solution? (any reg key ? )

on pc right click and change properties on .cab to "read-only". That will keep it from deleting after install.

I prefer the second solution,this not a problem for me.
Problem is with users when i give a Qtek for his job.
These personne don't know anything of Qtek and the best solution (I think) is to fix this problem in the registry.

install this cab and all cabs will stay after installation.

And the reg key that does the trick is:
HKCR\Cabfile\Shell\Open\Command
Add /nodelete at the end.

files from ROM Qtek 9000

Hello,
I have been reading and I know that nbf files are encrypted, but I need a couple of dlls and perhaps someone can help me.
I need
DLLS:
ril.dll, rilgsm.dll, ccoredrv.dll and scard.dll
Or its DEF files
Or the libs
FOR A QTEK 9000.
Any help will be apreciated.

some need to make a german languagepack

i think i am not the only one who realy wants a language pack for his wm6 in german. is there anybody who can do this? i have one for wm5 from buzz, perhaps with some modifikation it will works with wm6?

no it wont work, try another one for WM6, look at the forums for other devices, the mui files are difrend for WM6

is it possible to unpack a wm6 rom (ger) from a mda pro and extrakt the language files. Than take these files and cook them in a blueangel rom?

i theory yes, but if you need to add them as modules it will be hard(needs manual module reallocation editing), the easyer way is to create a cab with all the german mui files and some needed registryes, but it will take a lot of storage space ....

is here anybody who can do this? If there is a how to do or faq please let me know.

One more thing it will be better if the files are extracted from qvga device, for example Hermes,Artemis ..... even Wizard
I think bepe has kitchen for hermes with german MUI files you can use them for cab creating
