How do you make SPB icons

I am using VJDialer (Thanks vijay555) with cLaunch and i want to make some icons so i can use Pocket Plus to launch the dialer nd get rid of cLaunch.
cLaunch allows you to create icons from pictures. How do i go about making the same for SPB. For instance the pic i have below

There are 66 different icons in Pocket Plus. To change icon tap and hold it and select Change Icon from pop-up menu. You can also add you own icon to the list. Find "custom16.png" and "custom32.png" in "\Program Files\PocketPlus\Icons" folder on your device. Copy these files to your desktop. Now you can edit these files with any image editor. To add new icon you should create two similar icons of size 16x16 and 32x32 pixels. Add 16x16 icon to the end of the "custom16.png", and add 32x32 icon to the end of the "custom32.png". Make sure that after editing "custom16.png" has height 16 pixels and its width can be divided to 16. Check the same with the "custom32.png" image - its height should be 32 pixels and width can be divided to 32. Copy these files back to "\Program Files\PocketPlus\Icons" folder on your device and perform a soft reset. Now your icon is added to the list and you can use it.

Xilicon, that's a very nice tip there. The built-in icons are OK when using them for apps etc. but when using them with VJDialer and VJSMS you would need different icons for different ppl. There's no point putting a laptop icon for a shortcut that calls my wife!

Basically, to get a cute picture of the wife etc, load a nice photo of her up into an art program, eg paint shop pro.
"Crop" the image as closely as possible to her face: this is going to be reduced to 32x32, so make it recognisable.
"Reduce" the image to 32x32.
Now I would reduce the colour to 256, but that's up to you.
In claunch, you can load the bmps directly; you can make icons using an icon editor, eg Microangelo. On the version I've got, basically, just start a 32x32 XP Colour icon, copy and paste directly from your art prog into Microangelo, and then if you want to, reduce the colours.
Save the .ico and use at will.
Again, for my own nausea, I decided to make a dll full of icons to keep all my images in one file. This can be done with microangelo librarian or Visual Studio if you're really hard core.
For Pocket Plus, just use the png format instead of bmp or ico.
BTW new versions of VJSMS etc coming in the next day or so

I meant the default icons of SPB Pocket Plus not your telephone icon ;-) So what's new in your VJSMS?
OK I've tried the SPB Pocket Plus trick but it seems that it's only allowing 1 extra icon (totalling 67). Anyone managed to create more than just one extra icon?
EDIT: You need to close SPB Pocket Plus and reload before the icons appear in the list!

VJSMS is the same, just a new brother and sister and minor improvements!

Awesome, this is just what i'm looking for

[APP] Manila Customizer - Customize Clocks, Icons, Sliders etc [15 May] New Version

I decided to write a Manila Customizer that will work Similar to HHC for Kaiser.
The app can be unzipped anywhere but i suggest \Internal Storage\Program Files\ManilaCustomizer
The Clocks are stored in Whatever path\ManilaCustomiser\Clocks
The Icons are stored in Whatever path\ManilaCustomiser\Icons
The Sliders are stores in Whatever path\ManilaCustomizer\Sliders
The TopCurtains are stores in Whatever path\ManilaCustomizer\TopCurtains
The BottomCurtains are stores in Whatever Path\ManilaCustomizer\BottomCurtains
The app will look for a .jpg file in order to be able to display and add a Clock theme and same goes for icons etc
So if you want to add a clock Called FireLighter then simply Create a Folder :
\Whateverpath\ManilaCustomizer\Clocks\Firelighter <-The Folder where the Manila Files are
\Whateverpath\ManilaCustomizer\Clocks\Firelighter.jpg <- The image that will be displayed
Note the Jpeg and the folder has to be the exact same spelling.
If the system finds a .jpg it will look for a folder by the same name and move all those files into \Windows upon selecting the Clock Set.
Same goes for the Icons and all others
There are a few special files in \ManilaCustomizer\*.txt. When an Item is applied the files for the Item (eg Clock) is stored in these files and when a new Item is applied it will first delete the files from the previous Item and then Apply the new Item (was changed to work this way in ver 0.6)

Ok i decided to split it into three parts for now. Application , Clocks, Icons.
So unzip Clocks into WhateverPAth\ManilaCustomizer\Clocks and same with icons
IVe only tested this on original installed black Manila on WWE Rom

Version 0.5 Included Top/Bottom Curtains and Sliders in Manilacustomizer05.zip Please delete all old clocks and icons and curtains and sliders. I fixed all problems i think and old files might cause complications
Ver 0.6 Changed the way the thesmes are handled. It seems like to many different clocks, Icons and sliders use too many different files. The system will now store the files to be deleted for every item. SO when a new Item is applied it will delete all the files from the previous Item before applying new files, then store the new files and delete them again next time a new item is applied. No new files required it will use ResetClock.txt etc
Ver 0.7 Alot was changed. So please delete all files and folders and unpack the main zip files
System will now backup any item before it will apply a new one
Option to Restore from last backup
All manila files can be backed up (Not really recommended because it can be over 1000 files and take 8meg - im looking for a better colution)
Confirmation added before Resetting all manila files
Slide option is changed so when last item is reached it will got to first one and when first is reached it will jump to last
Version 0.8 Item Backup and Restore working 100%
Complete Manila backup will look at rom date and backup all manila files thats different so backup can be as little as 2 files if onl a clock was changed instead of backing up all manila files.
Manila Restore working perfectly as well
Version 0.9 Added Backgrounds and Touch Focus. Still busy with better backup solution. Look for Panorama Backgrounds on http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=3412257&postcount=748
Uninstall old version and reinstall new one, you wont loose any of ur custom items

Added Touch Focus Colours - Done
Added WallPaper Change option - Done
Adding Custom Option so people can have own special settings etc. Will be added Under Clocks/Sliders/Etc will also have an undo option for that
Adding functionality so one can enter a name when backing up full manila so custom themes can be backed up and restored....would be nice for saving multiple favourite looks.

i work to make zip manila files for my clocks

ok man i tried it ...and i found some bugs...(i don't know if you just know this bugs)
PS: I have an italian ufficial ROM
1)If I want to put a flip clock the clock flip veryveryvery fast...and appear "T-mobile" instead the mine.
2)There isn't the manilla files for the analog fire clock xD only the pic
3)The "Help" button in "Option" doesn't work
Sorry i didn't try the icon yet...but I will do it soon
EDIT: ok man i tried the icons...and that works perfectly

Coll budy I will use them and give u credit. Tell me do all of them have the sliders included or how. I want to add a tab where we can choos a slider seperately? Or if you can tell me whats the manilla files for the sliders then ill take them from there and spilt it up if thats ok?

make the choice to have the background behind the icons and the background of provider and date (black, colored, semi transparent or not)
background icons : 1864da05_manila
background provider and date : 18c460d8_manila

Ok im confused i dont know much about the inner workings of Manila.
If you say background icons, background provider and date can you be more specific to what it is exactly then i can do that.
Im going to ad invisible top/bottom bar next and different sliders

Is there any chance of changing the weather graphics in this as well?, extra tab would be good to i.e calander tab, missed call, comm-manager etc.

Can you attach the files for 1 and 2 thats invisible as in your example

Graphic artist Icon and Tab Created Art

Post your best created icons. 128 and 64 .png. Or taskbar icons. You may have swiped a great icon and modified it-as long as you created it, and you think it is great. Post it here. I will start by posting a few of mine.
I want to limit this thread to icons -no clocks, wallpapers, tweaks, etc. If you want you can post the modded manila file as well, but most of us probably already know how to do that.

The calendar is from Dman-he coded it from scratch and it is very cool, with finger flip control. Someone was passing around call history files-but there was a flaw in the 2694 manila control file that did not allow the menu of text messaging to be selected. I fixed that.

Hi all
I have created some blank icon templates so you can add your own images to with photoshop or other graphics editor, for use in folder organizer, launcher pro etc to keep a nice even set of icons on your home screen.
A couple of examples are included to see what you can do.
Hope this is of help to someone.
