Rogers Name Display! - Windows Mobile Development and Hacking General

I'm in too, You can have my 25$ to who ever figure this out plus the 25$ in the posst above if thats ok?
I tried no luck!

I have the Fido version of this feature, and it doesn't work on my o2 branded ROM. I'd also be interested in donating to whoever was able to rip out that functionality from a Rogers/Fido ROM.
Good luck to those who try!

I figured out how to do it. You just need to edit your registry a bit
You can find the setting in HKLM\Drivers\BuiltIn\RIL on a Rogers Branded software, but if you upgrade or don't have a rogers branded device it won't be there, if that is the case, then add the following entries. If you change these keys to a value of 1 (default 0) it should work:
Enable Rogers ALS
Enable Rogers CBM
Enable Rogers CNAP.
Now we need someone to make a quick and easy registry file (or a cab) that auto installs. I have no idea how to do this, so yeah.. haha
Hope it works.
Also works for FIDO

Let's get this solved. I willing to Donate $25 dollars to the person who solves this mystery.
Rogers Name Display:
What is it?
Rogers Name Display is a enhanced call display, instead of normal call display service displaying a number, it also sends the cell phone their name and the number.
eg: normal call display: 1-416-222-2222
eg: Rogers name display: Joe Smith 1-416-222-2222
name will display even though you dont have it in your phonebook.
this is just a software issue, not a hardware issue as Rogers carries their own branded htc phone like Touch, Tytn. it works with their rom but it wont work with a non branding phone.
I am not smart to figure this out, someone out there will be able to figure this out.
Another post where we are getting few to donate, also there are few interesting discoveries mentioned there:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=347882
also here is the kaiser rom that has working Name display on it: here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...1&postcount=21
if someone can rip that out of it, so rest of us can enjoy this feature on other devices, this would be awesome.
Please pledge to make a Donation.

Hi amradiar,
I also have a FIDO plan with this option, and I'd like to add the functionality to my HTC Uni. I definitely know how to edit the registry, however I am not sure of what the KEY NAMES should be, or if they're DWords or Strings, etc.
That is, should they be:
"Enable Rogers ALS" set to "1"
"Enable Rogers CBM" set to "1"
"Enable Rogers CNAP" set to "1"
or just,
"ALS" set to "1"
"CBM" set to "1"
"CNAP" set to "1"
I am willing to toss a beer over via PayPal to someone who can confirm the proper registry entries we're supposed to make.
Thanks for the discovery amradiar, but we just need a bit more info!

This will obviously only work on Rogers network?...

Tried it NO GO maybe I'm doing it wrong but gave it go. Name display works with my Moto ROkr but not on my tytn. Please Help!

you should create this reg entry and then after about a min or two reset your device, however me thinks that you will "most probably" need a dll and the reg entry pointed out.
if some one can point me to a wm rom from rogers/fido i may take a look when i have some time.
(pm me the rom link)

I already had these reg entries but changed them to value 1:
Enable Rogers ALS
Enable Rogers CBM
Enable Rogers CNAP
This still didn't work, I suspect there is more to it then just some reg hacks.

if someone can please upload or link a rogers rom, this would really come handy as I don't own a Rogers branded phone. I am on Fido, Please we need to get this working as I am getting anxious now.

can anyone confirm this regedit working on tytn 2? also which is the best reg editor for wm6?

registry entry modification doesn't work. Waiting for someone to look at the rom to see if they can figure it out.
thanks

fallenczar has been working hard to get this working for us, please continue to contribute to this project.

can someone try the following on the wm6 device, see if it works.
http://rapidshare.com/files/80465194/OEMOPERATORS.zip
extract the zip on to a folder, then copy it over to a folder on your phone, then run the included exe file on your device.
also the following reg edits needs to be applied
<!-- Enable Calling Name Presentation (CNAP) functions for Rogers -->
<characteristic type="Registry">
<characteristic type="HKLM\Drivers\BuiltIn\RIL">
<parm name="EnableRogersCNAP" datatype="integer" value="1" />

report your findings back here, I have a wm5 and it didnt work on it, coming to conclusion that wm5 doesnt support name display, try the patch above on wm6 device and report back on the forum.

What do all the CABs in the O2 XDA Exec Ext ROM do?

Hi,
After deciding to follow dingo's advice and do a vanilla install then install the cabs you need from the Ext ROM on the ftp, then install his great O2 Active cab that just installs connection settings, I realised I wasn't anywhere near 100% as to what each of the CABs did. I have listed the config.txt below and what I think each CAB does, but if anyone can fill in the gaps I would be very grateful, and it might make a useful wiki addition.
CAB:\Extended_ROM\Signed_SSD_BTUR_Patch_For_BT_Cannot_Initial.sa.CAB: \Extended_ROM\Signed_SSD_Shortcut_WWE.sa.CAB
CAB: \Extended_ROM\Signed_UNI_o2UK_PortalKey.sa.CAB
CAB: \Extended_ROM\Signed_UNI_o2UK_UAProf.sa.CAB
CAB: \Extended_ROM\Signed_UNI_o2UK_VoiceMail.sa.CAB
CAB: \Extended_ROM\Signed_UNI_o2UK_Customize.sa.CAB
CAB: \Extended_ROM\Signed_UNI_Remove_BatteryIcon.sa.CAB - Removes default battery icon from the system tray- why??????
CAB: \Extended_ROM\Signed_UNI_PictureEnhancement_reg.sa.CAB
CAB: \Extended_ROM\Signed_Version.sa.CAB - does this give the Ext ROM version?
CAB: \Extended_ROM\CAB-Customization-O2UK-Universal.CAB
CAB: \Extended_ROM\Signed_MoveO2Tone.sa.CAB
CAB: \Extended_ROM\CAB-Shortcut-O2UK-22Aug05.CAB
CAB: \Extended_ROM\Enable_VT_RTPlugin_0727_2_signed.CAB
CAB: \Extended_ROM\VT_DisableOK_O2_0830_signed.CAB
CAB: \Extended_ROM\signed_UNI_o2AUI4_build76.CAB - O2 Active installation CAB
Signed_UNI_o2UK_PortalKey.sa.CAB
This adds a registry entry for PieHomePage = pda.o2.co.uk
Resulting in pda.o2.co.uk loading when you open PIE. Wasting your GPRS/3G bandwidth unless Wifi or USb connected etc.
Signed_SSD_BTUR_Patch_For_BT_Cannot_Initial.sa.CAB
This installs Serial_BTUR.dll. I assume this is required and is to fix a BT bug judging by the name.
signed_UNI_o2AUI4_build76.CAB
This is the one to steer clear off if you do not want all the O2 Active stuff. The only downside is you do not get your settings which is why i made the CAB with only the Connection Settings App in it.
Signed_UNI_o2UK_VoiceMail.sa.CAB
This sets your Voicemail number to 901.
Signed_UNI_Remove_BatteryIcon.sa.CAB
Yes you are correct it simply removes the battery icon. The reason being they install their own battery app with the Active software. I use this to remove mine as i don't like it there and i use another third party app which includes a battery indicator.
Signed_Version.sa.CAB
Yes again correct. This sets the ExtROM version in the device information.
Signed_UNI_PictureEnhancement_reg.sa.CAB
This enters some registry entries via a XML file. I am not 100% what Picture it is supposed to enhance. The Entries are

The default, out-of-the-box Microsoft alternative, however, is www.yahoo.com so there's no advantage or disadvantage in applying that CAB to the system. I still edit the registry to change the default action to about:blank cos it's useful to be able to press a HW button to end my browsing with a page that I know is not going to call up GPRS while I'm not watching.
Lurking on these forums somewhere is a .reg file that can be applied to the system (using a registry editor like TRE) that sets this key for you, and you can edit the URL to whatever you want. I've attached mine in case anybody else wants the about:blank option.
Getting back to the OT, I just did a hard reset and then a selective install of the ExtROM CAB files, and the only ones I installed were:
CAB:\Extended_ROM\Signed_SSD_BTUR_Patch_For_BT_Cannot_Initial.sa.CAB
CAB: \Extended_ROM\Signed_UNI_Remove_BatteryIcon.sa.CAB
CAB: \Extended_ROM\Signed_UNI_PictureEnhancement_reg.sa.CAB
CAB: \Extended_ROM\Signed_SSD_Shortcut_WWE.sa.CAB
...and my Exec is running perfectly, with loads of available storage space and all the important functionality. I chose CABs that didn't have O2 in the title. The rest is just O2 fannying around with the system for their own nefarious purposes, I think. They just want you to remember that you're their *****! Of course, I needed to install Dingo's perfect connections CAB as well (thanks Dingo!).
The only thing I missed out of the O2 Active interface was their Task Manager, but I copied the .exe for this out of the system before I did the hard reset and it works fine as a standalone app on my new clean machine.
I didn't install any cabs and feel naked <shiver>
I guess it's only the picture enhancement and bluetooth cab I'm missing out on: if I was naked, picture enhancement might come in handy...

He I forgot about that. Yep i just edit the registry to remove it as that is even more bloaty than the O2 one. I might just make a cab for that too as not everyone will be able to import a reg file.
anyway a few more files and what they are doing.
Signed_SSD_Shortcut_WWE.sa.CAB
This makes links for Sim Manager & Enroller
CAB-Shortcut-O2UK-22Aug05.CAB
This makes links to sddaemon, MIDlet Manager & Voice Speed Dial. It also if i am correct adds MMS functionality into outlook. No software is installed it just sets up the link for the MMS etc.

Ok i think thats all of them. My current test at the moment is running all of the cab files except the stock signed_UNI_o2AUI4_build76.CAB. I have built a CAB with just the Active stuff missing from this. So it installed the skins etc as i quite like the phone skin.
So far it has been very stable. So i think it is just the Active stuff that causes the problems. On my next Hard Reset i think i will do the same but just leave out a few of the CABs.

I quite liked the look of the O2 phone skin as well, but the default MS one works much much better when the Exec is in true VGA mode. Plus, O2 overwrite the 'Call History' button (above the Talk button) with their hardly-ever-used-because-there's-no-3G-signal Video Call button.
The only functionality that seems to be missing from the Phone after I left off all the O2 CABs is the smart dialling. If I tap the 'Menu' soft-button I can choose the 'Smart Dialling Options...' item, but nothing happens. Considering this 'feature' was a waste of time anyway, I don't miss it at all, but others might. It was pointless because you could only press numbers keys to find your contacts. Perhaps HTC/O2 didn't notice that the goddamn Exec has a full bloody keyboard with which I could have typed letters too! :evil: :roll:
So now I'm waiting for Mamaich to develop his WM5-compatible version of his contact-finder. That will be awesome! 8)

(Medium-term lurker first time poster)
Having read this forum for about a month now I decided to do the o2 corporate install on my Exec for performance issues. I've just ported my number over and noticed that MMS wasn't working (It would only download the first 25k of a message). I put it down to the number porting (MMS wasn't enabled on all o2 systems for my account originally so assumed they'd cocked up again).
I rang data support today to find out what was going on, we went through the settings etc and as a last resort the guy said lets do a hard reset. Reluctantly I agreed, as I had everything running smoothly etc. He told me to install the personal setup. Naturally I said look I don't want all this bloatware can we go with the corporate one. He confessed that he didn't have much experience with the Exec but had found on previous XDAs that if you do a corporate install it doesn't install all the necessary MMS settings/executables.
Lo and behold MMS works perefectly now. So long post cut short ;-) Yes there is something in the extended rom which enables MMS. The question is can we isolate it so that we can have performance AND functionality?
Final point: I've spoken to 2 different people in data support and about 20 C/S monkeys. The C/S guys really could learn a trick or two from the 'techies' about C/S, as they've been spot on all the way through.
eyebeebe:
Correct in corporate mode you will not have your MMS settings or any other connection settings. This was why i put together the CAB file that is refered to above. The one that sets up your O2 connection settings only. This does set up the MMS server settings aswell but to add the MMS functionality into outlook you also need the shortcut cab Findus mentions above.
I am not sure exactly what out of the extended rom is or is not installed with a corporate install as i have not explored it yet. I prefer to soft reset before any of that is installed and start off with a vanilla install of WM5.
The reason for listing all the CAB files and what we can determine they do is so people can make an informed choice as to what they install. This method is more complicated but can go a long way to setting your device up to have it running the best you can.
I think basic mode will install most of the extended ROM but just leave off the Active UI stuff. This might be of better use to you. Again i have not really looked to much into that either so i can not say what exactly is or is not installed though.
Hope this helps.

ROFL, i know exactly what you mean about the 3G, what a great name for that button. I am right on the edge of 3G cover and it is a bit annoying for data connection as i keep swapping networks. I find it best to just fix to the GSM network in the phone settings.
I just checked the phone app and i have both "hardly-ever-used-because-there's-no-3G-signal Video Call button" and Call History. They are both stuck between Talk and Speed Dial
Dingo:
I'd seen your CAB and I must say it looked very useful but I'd already installed the corporate version and setup my data settings when it was first posted.
Regarding which install to use I've tried each of the three options and let them run through to the end. The corporate one is by far the quickest and leanest version in my subjective opinion. The corporate install does integrate the MMS box with Outlook. Unfortunately that wasn't the problem I was having.
In both instances (when I first got the phone and had the basic installation and recently with the corporate install) The phone would appear to upload/download the first 25K of any MMS. All other data services were functioning perfectly.

Originally having been thouugh all the settings for MMS, My ISP and My Work Network the Data Support worker went away for a couple of hours gave me a call back and asked me to try sending receiving again and it worked fine. He told that Not all of the systems at O2 are integrated and apparently my account hadn't been enabled properly one one of them.
Yesterday I was told that the systems fault above can't have been the problem. We tried changed a few of the settings (port from 8080 to 9002 etc) and eventually decided on a hard reset. I now have a slow Exec with working MMS, which isn't an essential feature tbh but has its uses.
Having thought about it some more I'm wondering whether it is a 3rd party app which was conflicting and it's actually a clean install which has fixed everything. I shall experiment over the weekend with various clean installs and the CABS in the ext. ROM and report back.

Plus dingo's great connections cab. I had to install the 2 VT cabs to enable video calling ( crappy gimmick i know but i like to show my mates what video calling looks like!!!) MMS now works perfectly along with everything else and I have over 29 Mb Program memory after a soft reset! Brilliant!
Thanks guys,
Fin

Thanks for the info. Its good to know corporate installs the essential CABs too. The one cause for concern though is it may also install the active stuff but just not set it up for running.
I really wish sprite would hurry up with their backup software. It makes life a lot easier when constantly hard resetting etc. I could then make a backup of my nice working system and once i finsish testing restore that backup.
Sorry you can not get MMS working other than a full install. Hopefully it was just a glitch or as you say 3rd party soft. It will be good to hear the results of your testing.
Findus:
Good News, glad to hear your running ok & and hopefully a lot smoother.
There is a great little file browser called total commander that will allow you to view your Extended ROM. Really good if you need to access any of your non installed cabs when your on the move. There is a post here somewhere that links to it. Just type Extended_ROM in the space and they will appear. Unfortunatly it will not let you manipulate any of them just run them.
Sorry for being a newbie.
But can someone tell me what .cab should I install in other for my O2 Exec works free of bug(hopefully)? (I'm not on O2 contract so I think I don't need O2 Active on mine)
I just got the Exec today, that's why I'm looking around for info to get start with my toy, I think I will go for the Corporate room, do you guys have any suggestions?
Thanks any reply,
Cheers,
P.s: and also where I can download the .cab files as well, thanks a lot.

Would someone mind clarifying for me... I should be receiving my exec tomorrow, will install into corp. mode, and install this CAB by Dingo for communications settings...
Will this then make everythign work, i.e. Bluetooth, MMS, video calling etc etc so that I get full functionality of the phone, but without the O2 active software installed?
Thanks, and sorry for being thick
hi mate
are you getting the exec on o2
I have a uk exec and have flashed various roms and tried many installs I think I have found what works.. I can send you all the cab files you need top run,, however I am trying to create the extended rom which will be the easiest way. If I get the answers I wil create it and you can have it.
It then will be in personal install without all the o2 crap and it is by far the fastest I have seen one of these things run
If I can help please ask
Magpie
anyone created a custom extended rom for exec catering towards vodafone sims?
If anyone has, can I have a copy?

Any news on extended ROM for Exec on o2?
I am a newbie to all this and I'd love a plain vanilla install that just worked, as mine is running like a dog at the moment and I have nothing installed!
Thanks for everyone's help and support.
Does anyone know if the cabs on the ftp have been updated with the new O2 v1.13.188 ROM?

Signed_UNI_o2UK_PortalKey.sa.CAB

This is the one to steer clear off if you do not want all the O2 Active stuff. The only downside is you do not get your settings which is why i made the CAB with only the Connection Settings App in it.

I will check into some of the others later as i really need to get sleep. its 3.30am and i have to be up for 9.

GPRS auto disconnect for battery saving

Hi Guys,
for everyone who wants to set GPRS auto disconnect timeout without using 3rd parties' software...
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\ConnMgr\Planner\Settings\
SuspendResume = GPRS_bye_if_device_off
CacheTime = xxx (where xxx are seconds before auto disconnect, for me the best value is 60)
Bye.
Marco, this is a very useful tip. But would you tell me where i can put the command lines??
Thx
Maggie
marco, i have found the hkey_local_machine. Thx.
However, I cannot find the directory ConnMgr\Planner\Settings under \Comm
Please help.
I am using 2003SE, O2
Thx

Sorry for not prompt reply... :S however i don't know how gprs management works under 2003SE...
Sorry...
Did you try to look for SuspendResume value anywhere in the registry?
ta-da!
great tip! i've been looking for this for a while.
so i decided i'll create a cab file, to use with my extended rom!
i've created two files: for 1 minute disconnect, and 5 minute disconnect.
here you go.
thanks shlomki for ur worked
excellent... thanks
This works fine for me !!
Very Happy now!!
I'm using WM6 (official one)
It works for me on WM6 too.
However, I am trying to integrate this to my own cooked ExtROM. I am new at the cooking process. So, I need someone's help to get this done.
Here is part of my oem.xml...
========================================================
<characteristic type="Registry">
<characteristic type="HKLM\Comm\ConnMgr\Planner\Settings">
<parm name="SuspendResume" value="GPRS_bye_if_device_off" datatype="????"/>
<parm name="CacheTime" value="60" datatype="integer"/>
</characteristic>
</characteristic>
========================================================
This is what I have so far. However, because REG_MULTI_SZ is one of the less used key type. I am having problem figure out what to put as the "datatype".
Can someone please help me on filling in the "????" part?
Thanks.
Cab file changes the registry but device still does not disconnect
Any suggestions? It is 60 seconds and not 60 minutes - right?
I have installed the cab file and the registry has changed, however the GPRS still does not turn off - any suggestions?

shlomki,
what can i say? I have been looking for such an approach since I have got my new Touch Cruise (2 weeks now) and finally I found your cabs...many, many thanks!
keep up with the good work!!!!
Great! TIP! HTC have these feature but I flash with cookrom..
thanks a lot
Nice. Does this also work with 3G connections? Specifically UMTS...
Great! It works on the lg ks20 for the 3G connections.
this doesnt work, any ideas? Registry has changed to:
CacheTime 0X3C (60)
CoeffBandwidth 0x10000 (65536)
CoeffCost 0x10000 (65536)
CoeffLatency 0x10000 (65536)
RetryCount 0x1 (1)
SuspendResume GPRS_bye_if_device_off
VPNCacheTime 0X3C (60)
Thanks
I was wondering... after changing this registry entry (the CacheTime one) what is the orginal value for this incase you ever wanted you ever wanted to change it back to default? I would have looked myself but I ran the .cab file before thinking to check the registry and see what it was... Thanks in advance!
I wanna say that it is set to "0" but I just wanted someone to confirm this for me before I tried to write a .cab file to get it back to default settings.
Warning!
These cabs work for "normal" sw running in Win Mobile, but it stops Java apps running under jebed.exe to connect and get data. A connection is established, but it is immediately closed down, re-opened - closed done, re-opened - closed down and it goes on like this. Had to uninstall.

Changing Bookmark sort order in TouchFlo Internet tab...

Hi,
I've spent many hours reading through this very helpful and informative forum and its Wiki I learned a lot so far and will continue to visit...
There are a few questions/matters however to which I have not been able to find an answer at this point, even after using the various Search functions.
One of these question is the following:
Is it possible to change the Sort Order of the Opera-Bookmarks that are shown in the TouchFlo Internet tab ? It seems they are now sorted according to time of addition (when you add a Bookmark it shows up at the bottom of the list). I would very much like to see them sorted alphabetically.
Please advise...
Kind regards,
Rolf (The Netherlands, first-time PocketPC owner)

Did you find a solution to this? Anybody else?
Have you tried editing the file and changing the numeric order?
Which file are we talking about here?
Cheers
To change the order you need to edit the file opera6.adr in \windows\opera9
There you will see your favorites and you can rearrange them. Another way would be to edit the file 27c65cbd_manila which in my case looks like this:
Code:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-16"?>
<InternetPortal>
<IncludeUserFavorites>True</IncludeUserFavorites>
<Banner
DefaultImagePath="\Windows\HTC\Assets\Images\InternetPortal\banner.qtc"
SelectedImagePath="\Windows\HTC\Assets\Images\InternetPortal\banner_selected.qtc"
Width="480"
Height="215" />
<OperatorLinks>
<Link
Text="YouTube"
Executable="\windows\youtube.exe"
ImagePath="\Windows\HTC\Assets\Images\InternetPortal\youtube.qtc" />
</OperatorLinks>
</InternetPortal>
You can probably add there your own code, something like:
Code:
<Link
Text="Whateveryoulike"
NavigateUrl="http://forum.xda-developers.com/" />
I found this internetportal examples on a japanese site. I have no idea what they are saying but you can see the options you have there. I have not tested changing this file, but you can always try. The first method, editing opera6.adr works. I have tested it...

Hi,
I have a HTC touch Diamond which is brand locked. I want to remove the default bookmarks which are loaded in the Internet tab.
How do you edit the .adr file? Which program do you use?
Thanks.

[REQ] Blackberry Cab for SetModelID etc

I am a ROM junkie, but while I can automate setup on most things for a new ROM, the whole BB issue is a PITA. My request is someone writes a cab (OR explain to me how and I will do it!) that does the following:
Installs SetModelID.exe into windows
registry change:
HKLM\init: Create a new string: Launch130 with value: SetModelID.exe
registry change:
HKLM\system\versions\aku - change to .1.6.3
registry change:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\OEM\RIL\OperatorContexts\
Create 310260 with GPRS and UMTS to 3 [NOTE: THATS ONLY FOR T-MOB USA, NEEDS SPECIFIC FOR OTHER OPERATORS]
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\Cellular\RIL\
set the Contexts value to 3
Delete the NetworkContexts entry
hi can you explain why this changes?
i recive in late (30 min.) many mails and sometime i don't recive some others
depends from this 2 registrys keys?
registry change:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\OEM\RIL\OperatorContex ts\
Create 310260 with GPRS and UMTS to 3 [NOTE: THATS ONLY FOR T-MOB USA, NEEDS SPECIFIC FOR OTHER OPERATORS]
where i can find world operetor list?
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\Cellular\RIL\
set the Contexts value to 3
Delete the NetworkContexts entry
Thank u very much
i am certainly no expert, but these changes allow BB to run at the same time as other data sucking apps (otherwise it goes to Radio Blocked). The last changes do this.
Look up on wiki for your operator info. read the other BB threads too.
if you can upload the .exe file i can make the cab for ya
thats great.
To make this generally useful, can you add a query for users to enter in their relevant cellular provider key (mine for TMOB US is 310260), or make it automatic (which I would have no idea how to do).
Order should be:
Install setmodelid.exe into /windows (attached)
scripts as above
not sure how to do all that, but here is the cab of the info that you gave me!!
thanks for that. i will test it ou!!
can i use this on HTC Diamond to make it think its Raphael... cuz i wanna try out the Blackberry APP Suite as well

[Q] SMS Time Stamp Incorrect WM6.5

Hey Guys,
I'm a Canadian Rogers phone user, and I've just flashed my phone's rom out for a new one, and now, whenever I receive an sms, it's about 5 hours behind. Through my snooping around, I've found that this is a common problem with Rogers and unofficial roms. I found a couple solutions, but they both apply to WM6.1, and do not work for my phone which is WM6.5.
I'm looking for the registry entry that I can switch, such as "TrustTimeZoneField" or "RecvTimeStamp" so that my phone won't trust the time given but rogers, and will instead use the phone time.
Anyone know where that registry entry would be, or possibly where I could create a new one that would?
Thanks
reg entry to use
this worked for me
TrustTimeZoneField
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\OEM\PhoneSetting\
Add a dword key "TrustTimeZoneField" and give it a dword value of 0
I've tried that, but it doesn't seem to work.
Are you using WM6.5?
yes
yeah using 6.5 energy rom
I think I'll try a different rom, and then try what you did again. I can't stand how all the text messages get all out of order.
Thanks for replying.
