Hi all.
I am using an HTC touch with Blue Rom 3.01. (WM6)
When I go to the align screen settings, once the cross appears in the centre of the screen, the unit freezes?
Has anyone else seen this or know of a fix for it?

are you using FTouchFlo?
it happens to me also, when FTF is running.
disable it, SR, and try to align the screen again...

HI Guys
Recently I found that after extensive using the screen with stylus, screen alignment goes for a toss, When trying to do the screen alignemen again, after tapping centre and the for corners, alignemnt doens;'t happen and again the same screen appears....
Infact my screen is not at all damaged..
Does any one have idea if this is a bug in ROM or some other issue which is addressed ?
Currently my ROM is 1.13WWE and Radio 1.12 (PM10A)

Hold the power button down and put the pen in the bottom hole and do a hard reset then run through the seting also before you do this clean the screen as dust can build up and can cause problems in the screen align section please note also by doing a hard rest you will lose programes saved and will start from a fresh windows instal all the best THIS SHOULD SOLVE YOUR PROBLEM
i have a 8125 and just in the last few days the screen stopped working and i found that if i hold down the left softkey while i use it the touch screen works fine ..just some alignment issues but i had that before this happened.
does anyone have any idea why this is and any idea what to do to fix it?
thanks.
Anyone..............?
any suggestions what i could possibly try ..i was thinking to replace the touch screen but im wondering if it will work or will it be the same with a new screen.
Bump Bump.
My dear fellow owners of a Blue Angel ppc. I've recently updated my Blue angel to wm6.1 by xplode and was having a weird problem. My screen was de calibrating at a very steady pace (around 1mm per day) and every time I tried to align my screen the touch screen simply friezed. I had to shut the device down and turn it on again in order to leave the align screen and the touch screen was functional again.
I tough it was a problem of the rom and posted my trouble in the topic of the rom. But since I'm not the kind of person that stays put waiting for other to solve my problem I went on a search trough the forum and found out that several other members of the forum where experiencing the same problem (on other devices) and the common thing on all of them was the installation of the cube/touch flo.
I started wondering if that was my problem to. So I uninstalled cube and the touch screen stopped responding. So I soft reset the device and the touch screen was working again (I just got a error message that the touch flo couldn't be started) and I was able to successful align my screen.
In resume:
Issue: The touch screen stops responding uppon entering the "Align Screen" screen.
Important considerations: do you have touch flo or cube installed?
Solution: If yes to question above, then remove the touch flo and/or cube from your device and the problem should be solved.
thank you for reading and I hope I was useful.
Be well!
I have the same problem, but my BA did not install any touch flo nor cube!
Cound it be any other reason?
Thanks.
Could you please describe your problem in more detail? What's your rom, why can't you align screen, etc.
Use a thin card!!!
I been using this once when I had the same problem. Use a thin card and swipe it between the keyboard and the main phone. Do it on top and bottom. During the time you do it yo will hear something like a clip sound. I think thats the screen calibrator, i don't know. but it works
Not bad if you try it.

No I'm not kidding. Me and My Brother-in-law did that. We have the same device. I did it first after finding somewhere in modaco. He told me that it worked.

Hi esfa.. i'm now having the same problem.. it's so irratating.. anyone helped you with this? Did you ever resolve this problem and how!!
Thanks in advance!
Have you tried the hard reset on your palm, many problem of hardware not working comes from hacking and installing stuff, a Hard Reset fixes almost anything soft-related.
Now if your screen doens't work at all after HR your palm, then your touchscreen is damaged.
You are probably trying to align your screen with your finger. You can't do that. Make sure you use your stylus to align the screen or you won't be able to get the touchscreen to work with your fingers anymore.
