I know a lot of them, but u have to pay for them( about 10 US dollars). There is some that u can use for 20 days, den u have to uninstall it, or buy it, u could just use those and switch to another app every 20 days. Try searching on www.google.com, im sure there might be some free ones, also try looking on freewarepocketpc.net

try Gpix this is a utility that converts gif flles to hide stuff's in it you need a password to open it, and take note you need to open the file using pocketrar or xnview, it's freeware and be sure to thank the developer GPcarreon, he has coolstuff's, look at this local thread unfortunately it's in filipino but feel free to join its a window's mobile community a lot of people will help you

Hi There
Ive tried searching high and low for this type of feature and I cannot find anything. Let me explain..
What I want to do is on my Pocket PC with a GPS unit, is basically have a program running that grabs the Long/Lat data from the GPS at a specified time interval (say every 60 mins) and uploads that to a website or FTP via GPRS.
What I plan to do on the website side of things is to have the website read from that data and load Google Maps to show where the person is!
Anyone already know a program to do this kind of thing?

I have made a program that will get the gps pos of a device and send it back to a pc via SMS it can send it to a server over gprs.
pjcltd is there any chance of a copy of the program.
Darthgus, hers a laptop solution, I am sure there is a pocket pc solution somewhere.

I have used it to get the location of an operator when tacking data. I have not tried to run a timer it get the data when a user clicks the button. You have to add the gps custom point.

Heh, thats exactly the sort of thing but with Pocket PC. I wanted to get the POS to a website, then use the API of Google maps to show the position.

Yea, Im not really wanting to run a program like that to do it, basically I just want something sitting in the background dropping the GPS point every x mins or x hrs type thing to a website/ftp.
We use this for our workers on the road. They send back positions every 10 seconds via their XDA & we track them on maps in the office.
However, it's part of a larger 2-way data app.

But I do know of someone who has something simillar, I'll get in touch...
ok i will post a program on here that will run for 15 days
before i do you must know that the program will work with any gps
ie com1 - com9
and it will send the pos to any sms number that you want
ok

Cool will be good to have a look at, but not much use without some code or whatever as I dont want to send sms's but upload the data to a http/ftp site.

Very sory for the delay in posting the program i had to get the ok my Boss
i will be posting a 15 day trial
if you want a full version then we can sort that out later.
At the moment the program dose the foolowing
1 When you run the program it starts the GPS
You mush have a gps connected and working for this to work

i have just purchased a 4 gb sd card. I wanted to find out
1) if i can put a password on the SD card.
2) if i can place a password on a folder (has large files)
3) place password on my text message files.
4) a password wallet where i can store my passwords.
Is there a software that does all this. I have tried searching through other threads but could'nt find anything I have purchased so many softwares but they dont do what i want. Im quite tired of paying for the softwares then finding out they dont do everything that i need. Can some one direct me please. could someone give me a download link of the file etc

For code wallet try eWallet and for SD have a here http://www.omegaone.com/pocketpc/pm.html I know it doesn’t do what you want but it is a good program for keeping SD card in good order. Also have a look here - www.pocketgear.com it has some great software.
Know how you get S2U2 on my device i have a ppc 6800.....i tryed downloading the zip link and it say's buy now or use registration code, i'm not sure what too do

by the way, your thread on ppcgeeks. To install .cab files, connect your phone through activesync, hit explore and drag the cab file over. Then on your phone, using file explorer, navigate to the cab file and click it. It will install.

What link are you using? rapidshare has a free option.

thats the one i was using....
Yesterday I forgot what I clicked and I saw an icon on the screen, when I wen to add/remove that program called handago ? Now, when I restart the xp1 it saids The file InHandUpdater cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted cert or one of its component cannot be found?
How do I fix this? Do I need to hard reset the device or install that from the disc? OR can I just completely remove that update thing?
I have no idea what that program does. Can someone help ?
All you need to do is open file explorer. Goto windows/startup. Then delete the shortcut pointing to "inHandUpdater"
That should do it...

Thanks for the quick reply. I got that removed. But do you know what that program does? I use the browser on the phone and goto www.handago.com and it saids this X1 is not supported that. But the device itself asks me to install it last night. That was weird.

All it was is a portal to their Site!!
Since their site doesn't directly support mobile devices.
It would periodically download,specials and feature apps!!

Is there any Freeware app available or code you guys can make to deal with this problem. Please go easy on my with the Acronyms... I just about got TP2 but stuck on Manilla...
So can you guys do anything for me?

Welcome to the forum. I am sure you will receive good adice. Just for future reference try the search function where you will find what you are looing for as well as other useful information.
As far as the software you are looking for I too wanted this software but could not find a decent freeware program. I found a program called Secret SMS from Handago which kept other eyes away from my personal messages.

That is honestly the funniest thing I've read today (above).
I, too, want this software - and am not afraid to admit that I want it because an ex-gf or two text me every now and then and I'm sincerely afraid that my pure-blooded german wife would snip my nads off with a rusty butter knife if she saw them. Luckily my phone auto-locks every 15 minutes per a government pushed security policy - but if I left it unlocked after doing something - that'd leave her 14 and change to find something, read it, and locate a suitably dull knife.
