Has anyone installed this yet? Is it any good?
I have the VF ROM which doesn't include MSN by default. I've managed to get the current version installed without having to pay (after all, why should I??) and can use it fine, but was wondering if it's worth taking it off to put this new version on?

It works fine on my Wizard, haven't tried on the Universal yet, it displays avatars, smileys, and links your messenger contacts into your address book. And it has the Windows Live Mobile apps too.
Other than that, it's just another app for messenger use, purely a personal choice.

Tried to install it and it didnt ask where just went on its own to main memory. How to isntall it on SD?
No way yet zormic.. it's just a beta release after all.

Installed and works great, apart from it trying to connect to GPRS even when already connected via wifi. It doesn't display smilies either, at least for me. Apart from that, it's finally a version of MSN that doesn't look about 10years out of date!

I thought the CAB File can now be installed to the SD Card from the 1st post.

Right here. The sticky threads are ROMs with .cab-Files you don't need to install.
and how can i remove that cab's to not install on rom upgrading? - and another problem that i have with 4 rom's wm 6.1 and 6, is that contacts are not working. when i press contacts, appear 1sec that window, and dissapear. what should i do?

You may want to give xplode's latest rom a shot. It is pretty good, stable and clean...
I've just installed my first custom ROM (Dutty's Holy Grail), howevever I am having a problem with Microsoft Myphone and recovering my text messages etc. Basically the current version has an issue that it will not authenticate if you use a non hotmail or live email address. To get around this I installed the beta version and then upgraded it, however this ROM came with it installed and I cannot replace the original version with the beta. Can anyone tell me how I can remove the original version and install the beta so I can get my texts back?

Nevermind I have found a different solution, it is possible to remove the text "other" in the drop down box and replace it with your own domain. Might aswell close/delete this.

I couldn't find it in the Software list do deinstall, the reason why I want to deinstall it is, cause I found in the Windows Marketplace a new version and it says in the description, prior installing Windows Live 11.0 I have to deinstall my Old Windows Live. But I really don't know how to do that.

Well its in your official ROM so i don't think you can remove it, you have flash a new clean ROM... unless someone else knows another way.

just install the new one from marketplace on top of it.

It doesn't actually install the new version with the old one still there. I can't even find the exe to just delete it.
