Does anyone have a cab for the headphone equalizer - Mogul, XV6800 General

just wondering if theres a cab for an equalizer for the audio be it headphone or the built in speaker.I have an issue with incoming calls when listening to my headphones all my ringtones when someone calls loses all the mids and bass and then they pop back on right before the call stops.just wondering if its a frequency cut built into the phone or if its something else.any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think this will work
I found this zipped up with some other HTC appz... it's a graphic equalizer. I haven't used it but it looks like it fits the bill!

Thanx i'll give it a try.

Motarola S9 Headset Only Plays in One Ear During Phone Calls!

I just got these really cool new headphones. The sound quality is great. The volume is nice and loud and they dont look like Mickey Mouse ears (ala the HT820), The one very BIG issue I have with them is that when I am making a phone calls only the left ear works!
Is there some way to get this thing to play in both ears. This is such a great device but the fact that it only plays in one ear makes it unusable for me as I work in a very loud environment and need it to play in both ears!
Any Ideas?
I just got off of the phone with Motorola. Apparently when the device receives a mono sound like a phone call it only plays the sound in one ear.
What we need is a way to trick the device into thinking that it is getting a stereo sound when making voice calls. Is there a way to do this?
Same problem here (left earphone only telephone calls). I hope that one of the gurus of the forum will come up with a solution. Are you using any of the registry tweaks or patches, and if so which ones? Thanks a lot.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!
I am using a stereo bluetooth headset from Sony Ericsson, and It doesn't have your problem, when I click "turn hands-free on", both ear pieces works although it's mono sound.
But I have a question to ask, which media/MP3 player do you use to listen stereo bluetooth? I checked around Windows Media Player menu and it doesn't have a function like "switch to headset". I don't know how to link the audio to my bluetooth stereo headset for listening MP3.
Can anyone help me??
You need to enable Joint Stereo audio instead of Mono. I think you can do this in the most recent LVSW release (in the HTCtweakUI), and it can be done on any phone with a simple registry hack. Just search the forums and wiki for "joint stereo" and you should come up with something.
1. Navigate to "LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Microsoft/Bluetooth/A2DP/Settings" in the registry.
2. Use Joint Stereo to 0.
This change did not fix the problem. When I try and make a call its makes a LOUD beep in both ears then starts to play from just the left ear.
There has to be a way to make the headset think that it is getting stereo sound during voice calls.
RTFM the manual clearly states that during headset use the left ear is mono
that would because the right ear is the mic.

This makes sense. Even if the mic embedded in the right earphone is a separate unit, sound coming from an adjascent earphone would have sent some feed-back to the mike. If it is the situation then there is no hope for us I guess. In any case, instead of a microphone extending towards my mouth or dangling on a cord I much prefer this configuration. Especially when riding my motorcycle it works great in the helmet.
Hi all,
well Im also a user of the S9 und must say the music sound is fantastic, but the mono call audio is just not good enough... Did anyone come a cross a way to make that stereo too or is there a way to increase the volume ?
Otherwise: does anyone now a better in ear round the neck device that does stereo on calls ?
Generally I very much like the fit of the S9 and that its slim an not bulky round the neck
Greetings

trying to hear my ringtones through my bluetooth headset

anyone what needs to be done in order to be able to hear my ringtones from my mogul through my bluetooth. when i used to have my sprint moto q, i could hear them no problem and i didnt have to do anything. hope you guys can help.
im wondering this too, i have a motorola s9 headset that plays my music in stereo just fine, but it wont play custom ringtones, just a generic ringer, which means i have to get my mogul out of its holster to see whos calling, which sortof defeats the purpose of handsfree IMO
ive read that simply enabling A2DP should allow the ringtones to work, but i still just get a generic ringer
well i just flashed my mogul with jd's rom and it comes with audio gate. this program is pretty cool. i can hear my ringtones (in generic form) and i even get a computerized voice that tells me the phone number thats calling. very cool. too bad it wont say the name of the contact, but still pretty awesome. hope this helps. funny thing is when i had my q the quality of the ringtone was like the quality of my music

wizard Audio question

Is it possible to listen to mp3 or any type of audio output on the wizard without the use of headphones?
I would like to listen to audio content without using headphones of any kind.
Can i use the wizad builtin speakers? If so how?
thanks in advance
um, just play it? The sound output will automatically redirect to either headphones or speakers, if you don't have headphones plugged in
tried but no luck
I tried what you recommended but still cannot hear any sound, either from video or audio sources.
generaly such issues are operator based not phone based
Audio problem solved
In comm manager the ringer setting was on vibrate. Set it to ring and I was able to listen via internal speakers. Im feeling a bit stupid.

Bluetooth for music and phone?

Hello, i'm new to having BT and i just got my tilt yesterday. One thing i need to do is get a BT headset, but i'm having trouble finding out if a BT headset will transfer any audio to the unit instead of phone only audio.
I want something that will let me listen to my music or video, and it will need to make some sort of indication that a call is coming in and let me take the call and then go back to the music when the call is done.
I don't want something that has some HUGE boom mike that resembles the head gear i have to wear for work.
I've heard a lot of good things about the Jawbone's noise canceling and sound quality, so i'm leaning towards that. I've looked in many places but haven't heard if the Jawbone does this.
I'm not concerned about stereo audio at all. As long as all the sound goes to the headset and plays in my ear i'm happy. Stereo is completely not necessary cause i'm deaf in my right ear and couldn't hear it even if i wanted to.
I think the Jabra BT8040 does this but is the noise canceling as good as the jawbone?
thanks in advance
Snow
edit: Maybe what i'm asking is, "Does the Jawbone play music and do calls?" I dunno, i'm confused lol
Any BT ear piece like Jawbone can have all sounds diverted to it by using a small free app called BTaudiotoggle. Do a search for BTaudio. It works great.
If you are deaf in one ear, the Jawbone is fine, the BlueAnt Z9 is smaller, cheaper, and Louder than the Jawbone. I have both and they are two of the best earpieces.
Thanks! That was just the information i was looking for.

Vibrant Sound Out + Car Aux In

Hi guys, my 328i has a built in Aux input. And it works great with my Vibrants 3.5 output jack. The only issue I have is, the volume is just not as loud as It is listening from the mp3 CD. The volume for both the phone and car is at full volume.
When I usually listen to mp3 cds, the sound goes up way louder. Is there a way to hack the phone to output louder through the 3.5 jack? Or if any of you have the 328, is there some option to do that?
I don't know about mp3 cds but as for official cds bought from the store, they are definitely a lot louder that the phone through aux jack. Same deal with my g1 before I got the vibrant.I'm sure once the rooting and custom recovery is all sorted out and we start getting some custom roms, the devs will include volume hacks just like they did for the g1.

I'm quite satisfied with the volume. If you need to blow your ears off boost up the EQ.
Actually, it's really weird. Through headphones I can equalize my Vibrant and iPod to sound the same, but through AUX, the vibrant is quieter (Same volume settings). Really makes no sense to me. It has to be something with the equalizer...
Edit: But it is in no way quiet. I have to turn up my car stereo by like 4.
Try a different cable or a higher quality audio file.
I play songs between 192kbps to 328kbps and have no problems. The volume is at the same level since I used my mp3 cd.
appreciate the inputs, i'll look for the equalizer on the phone.
Have you guys tried sending the audio thru bluetooth audio enable car radio? Pretty cool no cables needed
I can even listen to pandora and send the audio to my stereo

whoa, i'm going to have to try this out. any advice?
I have the Pioneer Z110BT Navigation and it has bluetooth audio. Just pair your Vibrant to the Pioneer then play any song on your vibrant using the music player. Click options then "Via bluetooth".
Then go to your stereo and click on bluetooth audio. Voila! Streaming music from your Vibrant to car stereo. The sound is also great!!
Not to hijack this thread but my one complaint of the phone is how low call volume and audio volume are.
Everythings turned up to max and this phone is roughly half as loud as my MT3G is set at 50%.
I have a Sony xplode and play through Bluetooth, I get great sound.
I have no issues with call sound or ring levels. I actually have to turn it down sometimes because its to loud.

I built a custom cable to connect the headphone jack to my Pioneer's IPBUS connector - it works great, and is very loud. I keep both the head unit and phone's volume on half way, and depending on the song I may have to turn it down, too.
