well i use the uspl in the first update and dont problem but my girlfriend had flashed it with a ESN Rom i dont Know witch and now her devices is on the 3 color what can i do

Then I noticed that the keyboard layout was qwerty .. and as I am a german I´d like to have qwertz ans so I installed this ROM:

Unfortunatedly I´ve chosen the wrong one (strange order of links) because after installing the rom The Device comes up with the warning descriped in the post ... and what´s worst and actually my Problem:
The device resets each time during the "customization", reboots and tries to do the custom again.
It resets even when I try to install another rom ... no tricolor screen or anything!
So the device is now running an unusable OS and I don´t know how to install a new one!
HELP ... I need somebody!

Other German ATHENA users could provide some help to set the Kb
Carefully chose the SPL version, 1.2 since you install AP4, after AP4 you will have the newly partitioned ATHENA, with SPL 3.5 (no way to flash any original HTC ROM or an 1.2 SPL ROM, a tool to revert it back is in developing stage)

version rom 2.21.408.1
radio 1.50
But don't speak Italian !
(I know what you are going to ask...)
before I try my luck with vanilla's etc.. wer can I find a normal simple Rom
The HTC site where I registered give me only Italian version
Could someone that do not like Pizza help me ?

Unlock it to SPL 1.2, then try out any of the WM6 WWE stock ROM. Think carefully and beware of the consequence of unlocking to spl3.5, cause it is a way of no return, at least for now and may be a long long time to come.

I love Pizza but I know, Pizza is the end of a looong trail, and you are just in the middle of the beginning ,
If you want to change language or vendor ID, or just to flash ANY rom you like (even an ORIGINAL HTC Sauerkraut version ), do you need to change the SPL. In this way your device will became SUPERCID (or just the flashing process jumps over the CID info).
Your ATHENA has ITALIAN LANGUAGE hard coded into the SPL and you can't change it without affecting the SPL (Language id and Vendor id are the CID and SUPERCID means... joker)
Use ATHENA WRAPPER, from OLIPRO (donate if you like) from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=316846.
ATHENA UNLOCKER is just for SIM unlocking too
After this stage you will have a new SPL called HARDSPL (because it is hard coded, is IN the ROM), and the flashing process will be free for all ROMs. Your SPL will be 1.2
Original ATHENA ROM is a WM5 rom, the UPDATE is a WM6
From HERE http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=397518 you will find the newest ROM, the German listed is WM6.0 , the other are WM6.1 (no official WM6.1 for athena).
If you choose from that list the AP4 your device will have a newly partioned ROM, called SPL 3.5 and in the next future you can't use neither original HTC ROMs nor cooked 1.2 SPL ROMs. The only advantage in SPL 3.5 is the capability to use AP4 and AP5 (it needs more ROM space)

I use diy for a long time to diy a chs rom
because i am a chinese (so please forgive me post my poor eng)
then when i flash my diy rom into pharos
RUU always tell me that "err 244 invaild model id" when reach 2%
so how can i deal with it
my pharos is customized by Chinamobile and it's called dopod p660
hardspl patched(1.11mobiz)
and i can flash tom's rom and all the roms from pdaviet
only can't flash what i made into my phone!!

i've buyed an htc p3450 with windows 6 , but i don't know the id and other codes.

this morning i tried to change original rom with onyx 5.6
i've made this things:
i've installed cert.spcs.cab and enablerapi.cab
after using ELF_USPL_2.26.0000 i made the procedure for charge rom
and all were ok.
after i used the new os and its worked good. i made an hard reset before using definitively it. but after 10 minutes the system didn't start yet.
It run the image of Tim Operator and shut down.
The boot loader work now. i tryed to reinstall the sistem, the procedure finish without problem but when the system try to initialize the new rom , display the tim logos and after shut down..
someone know what i do and why system not reboot?
i read that i need the original italian rom for retry all my operations..but i don't know hot to find the id of my precedent rom...
pls help me

yes it's surely elf because on the box the name is htc p3450/3452 Ita S
so elf isn't S i think is the xl model
now i'm going out, but if you can help me to know what is the problem, tomorrow we can meet again
i want to remove tim's brand and i will put in a good rom with large buttons
