Hi,
I cannot find a file named rilgsm.dll on my qtek 9000. The strange thing is that all radio functions work as they should and even there is a registry entry referring to rilgsm.dll. Can somebody please explain this?
Thanks

Never mind, rilgsm.dll is there, but ActiveSync explorer does not show it. Remote file viewer shows it.

please confirm, rilgsm.dll control Pda GSM? It is a GSM module? Because my device have problems with GSM signal.

Hello:
is it possible to get the Blackberry software ONLY for the XDA II? the O2 website only supplies it as part of a full ROM upgrade which I don't want to do as my unit is set up perfectly and I don;t want to have to do a hard reset and build it all again??
Thanks
Just download the full ROM upgrade and use ROM Edit 2003 to extract the installation CAB file you need from the extended ROM.
To do this, you need to start the ROM upgrade process (you do not need to cradle your device to your computer).
When the program welcomes you, you do not respond but search your harddisk for nk.nbf (it should be located somewhere in c:\documents and settings).
Copy this file to another location on your harddrive.
Now you can cancel the ROM upgrade process.
Browse the nk.nbf (extended ROM file) using ROM Edit 2003 in order to locate the CAB file you need for Blackberry installation.
Extract the file from the extended ROM and copy it to your device.
Run it on your device and install there.
You might need to unlock and unhide your extended ROM on your device prior to installation.

RIM check the device software and radio build before they will allow the software to connect to their relay. So extracting the software only and trying to connect will have no effect - it will bounce the moment it detects an unapproved software combination.
We have our own BB server and GPRS aPN for the system ove rhere, do you think it will work on this equipment??
In theory, yes, but what I think you will find is that BB connects to its own APN then connects to your BES server. When you want to use "GPRS", it discos from the APN & will connect to yours.
So I think it's unlikely
Hmm -I've tried to get the NK.nbf file.
It does not seem to me on my computer any where, but the upgrade app does say it extracts it - maybe it stores it in RAM until the unit has been identified.
My XDA unit will not conect via serial to get the ROM file (I use BT to sync) as I dropped it once and the connector is damaged.
Any other ideas how I can get it? Is anyone willing to post the extended ROM
image for me?
Is there anyone have BlackBerry Connect App for WM2003, please?

Bluesoleil drivers for HTC Magician and "Bluetooth Switch" utility.
You can install BlueSoleil drivers to use PAN-profile, FTP-profile and ActiveSync via bluetooth on you QTEK S100, S110, I-mate JAM and so on...
PAN-profile allows:
1) share folders from WindowsXP PC to PDA, and you can browse them using Resco Explorer.
2) stream audio and video (for example from Webcamera or TV-Tuner) from Windows XP PC to PDA (Using TCPMP on PDA and Windows Media Encoder on Windows XP)
3) use Remote Desktop to see WindowsXP screen on PDA screen and control you PC .
4) play multiplayer games (Snails, for example )
5) skype
6) and more...
See details and installation instructions in readme.txt (from attached zip-archive).
Requirements: HTC Magician with ROM Version 12 or 13.
After Install, use "Bluetooth Switch" utility (Start->Programs->Bluetooth Switch) to switch between Microsoft drivers and Bluesoleil Drivers.
You can install drivers BCHS_FOR_POCKET_PC_OZONE.ARMV4.CAB and switch between these drivers and Bluesoleil Drivers (using "Bluetooth Switch" utility)!
Whats new in release:
1) more simple install/uninstall process.
2) now you can choose installation directory (in main memory)
3) "Bluetooth Switch" utility has improved (in many cases soft reset not required).
4) No evaluation period!
WARNING!
Before install new release, you must uninstall previous release (see my post in this thread, how to do it)
Sorry bat I've no understand if I must install BCHS_FOR_POCKET_PC_OZONE.ARMV4.CAB before install bluesoleil or it's not necessary... In the first option where I can found this file? Thanks in advance..

You can always return to Microsoft drivers using "Bluetooth Switch" and vice versa.

Yes. When we switch stack to Microsoft, switcher move shortcut from Startup folder to Windows folder and vice versa.
& also bug , when i`ve used pan, then i can`t use gprs, so it needs add registry fixing gprs in this case, i think.

This is Bluesoleil drivers bug and cannot be fixed simply.
I just repack original CAB file and write switch utility.
You can add registry fixing gprs, but in this case you cannot Map Drives from WindowsXP PC using Resco Exolorer.
I have tried it be4 u updated the shortcut... and I had to hard-reset my JAM..
I'll give it another try tomorrow.
any way, my questions is... after the installation.. will I be able to send files from the file explorer.. not from the program it self??
I believe Resco FE is not meant to work with this stack, or Am I wrong?
thanks for your effort
I have read the whole thread about the Bluesoil BT stack. Some say it works, its better and others disagree. So what's really the story about this stack?
What's the difference 'tween the bluesoil schtach and this one?

Bluesoleil drivers support PAN-profile, but not support A2DP profile.
You can use both drivers using Bluetooth Switch utility.

Ah yesh! The PAN (Personal Area network). What does this do exactly? What are the benefits.
Hi,
im able to receive items by bluetooth from anyone but i cant seem to send anything. Everytime i try to send, is says sending then after about a second it comes back failed. Ive tried pairing or without pairing and i get the same result. Anyone else had this problem and managed to fix it?
ROM Version : 1.5.4.2 WWE
Radio Version : 01.09.10
Protocol Version : 4.0.13.20
ExtROM Version : 1.5.4.102
Can someone help me on this problem please? I just cant understand why it wont send. If it helps i have hard reset the phone and reinstalled with coporate install and MMS only, none of the other rubbish.
Under Settings-Connection-Beam there has to be a check.
Does yours have a check?
I also heard that some providers, not sure if it was TMobile, O2 or Imate have OBEX File transfer disabled in the rom and you have to edit the registry to enable it
Hey,
that setting is just for receiving infrared. Im not sure if it used to work when i got it which is a pain as i dont know if it doing the hard reset thats done it. This might be the problem, in my bluetooth list there is no outgoing port option, any ideas?
Yeah, that's true. Qtec rom have disabled OBEX file transfer in registry, and I couln't send/receive files via bluetooth. The registry key is: HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Obex\IsEnabled, and if it has value of 0, than change to 1.

Thanks for the info...
I tried that
I have checked for the "tick" in the box which I have
I have also check the Obex file in the registry which is already set to a "1"
Still no joy.
Is there a way that I can just reinstall the bluetooth via a jar file?
Thanks.
Adam.
Hi,
Can anyone tell me where to download the bluetooth dlls that is on the Hermes? Are they any different from the ones used in the Tornado A2DP hack?
thanks.
Out of curiosity, why would you need them? Isn't A2DP installed on it by default?
i can zip mine for you if the tell me the exact file names
I don't have a Hermes, mine's wizard
Thanks for the quick reply. Actually I was hoping to try the files on the wizard which cannot work properly with the files from the Tornado hack..
The 3 usual files, I guess,
bta2dp.dll
Avcrp_MP.dll
sbc.dll
thanks
Hi all,..
I would like to know if it is possible to use the WM6 internet sharing on a official T-Mobile NL WM5 ROM.
Is there a (working) CAB file or something?
Regards
A.
Just copy the files to the Windows folder and create a shortcut under Start Menu>Programs>whatever folder you want.
Try this. Let us know if it works.

Well,..
same error. I've recently tried the CAB file from an earlier post (maybe the same one as this one),...and get the error:
INTShRUI.exe is not a Valid PocketPC application.
please advice...
regards
A.
Cheers, been looking for this
Thanks for that, have been looking for this app. for awhile now.
Softbank X01HT (Hermes) ROM contains those files, but reports "IntShrUI.exe is not a valid Pocket PC Application" when executed. The files on the X01HT ROM were: IntShrUI.exe 184 bytes, intshare.dll 208bytes.
The files posted above execute properly and detect my net connections. Now I just need to find out what to do about this message: "Cannot connect for an unknown reason. To change your connections settings tap Settings."
Will post if I find the answer.
INTShRUI.exe is not a Valid PocketPC application.
not work on my Eten M600+

Works great for me on my WM5 XDA Flame, by cable and BT !
