Where to get windows live for WM6 ? - 8525, TyTN, MDA Vario II, JasJam General

I am using the T-Mobile official WM6 ROM which unfortunately doesnt contain Windows Live. I have previously used Schap's ROMs but this one seems more stable.
Can someone please tell me where and how I can download the Windows Live package?
Thanks.

I had both - UK and DE - T-Mobile WM6 ROMs installed. Both contained the WINDOWS LIVE. If it is not on your TODAY screen you still should be able to find it under PROGRAMS

Ok.. everyone on these boards say use the search..
I used the search to find your answer.. Maybe YOU and everyone else should take their advice.

This upgrade is only for evaluation purposes, to confirm application compatibility with Pocket PC 2003. It is not the commercial release of the software, and cannot be made available outside of O2 to customers or end users. as the instructions file says
A new release of the OS, customised for O2 xda, will be available later.
This software download is only available to those approved O2 application developers who have been preselected to test prior to launch.
if you are one of them and want's to download the software from the link below using your given User Name and Password.

Care to share? thats what the forums are for
this is a fake
Hi !
This seems like a fake to me...
The screenshots are all from PPC2002!!!
The GPRS symbol is the old one.
Jabba
No, it's a genuine document but using screenshots from PPC2002 as these are incidental to the installation process.
The Xda PPC2003 build is only available to selected O2 developers under NDA.

It works here on my xda fine, but itś no Pocket PC 2003...

I've just downloaded a ROM (version 3.18) for the DOPOD device (Same as XDA). On the website which seems to be in chinese or some asian language it suggests that version 3.18 is the pocket pc 2003 version. Pictures on the site seem to back this up. The screen shots shows that the ROM seems to have english support. Anyway the problem is that the ROM is in NB1 format. I don't have a SD Card so can not convert to NBF. If anyone is able to tell me any other way to convert to an exe so that I can upload it to my XDA it would be much appreciated.
if people want to have a look at the site the address is:
http://52xda.com/dispbbs.asp?boardID=13&ID=3810
you may need to login which will mean registering with the site... just mean decypehering a bit of the chinese.
if you can't get to the above address, the downlaods for the ROM which are packed as WINRAR files are as follows:

t-mobile MDA III and upgrading windows.

Apologies if this has already been posted somewhere, I did look and couldnt find anything that helped.
I have the above device, and it has Windows Mobile V5 installed. if I managed to get this unlocked (the sim lock) by t-mobile, is there a way I can upgrade to Windows Mobile 6?.
Do I have to get it unlocked to be able to upgrade to WM6 ?
and whats the advantages of WM6 over 5? and will tom tom navigator still work on WM6?
Sorry, so many questions..
Try search it may be useful... all the answers are on this forum.

I'm not sure if you have read my posting properly.. I did say
"Apologies if this has already been posted somewhere, I did look and couldnt find anything that helped."
and have searched again, and still didnt find the answer, so if someone could please help me I would be very grateful.
No need to SIM unlock. Just Read up on USPL, it's a CID unlocked state you need, which is different.
Once you've run USPL successfully, you can flash any WM6 ROM of your choosing.
WM6 is faster than WM5, prettier, and generally an upgraded feel, and yes Tomtom still works.
many thanks, I'll have a look into USPL, and then its just where to find a WM6 rom for T-Mobile UK.

Please help!

Hello. Sorry if this is in the wrong area, but I am new to flashing roms, and I don't know who to ask for help. I have an audiovox ppc4100 and all I want to do is upgrade it to windows mobile 5 or 6. Just something other than wm2003. I've downloaded numerous wm6 and wm5 images from this site (They are extremely cool looking from the screenshots I've seen!) but I cannot seem to get any of them to work. I am running windows vista, so activesync isn't available. Its the windows mobile device center. It would just be easiest if I could rom upgrade from my 2gb sd card. Is there anyone who can help me either cook a wm5 or wm6 rom for my ppc4100 or give me some pointers on how to do this (remember, I'm a newbie!) I would really appreciate anyone's help. Thanks so much!

I am looking for the answer to the same question. Why is it not in the T-Mobile ROM? Micro$ofts site suggests it should be.
Theres like a crap load of windows live .cabs floating around here. Pick one and install it..Done..
Its really that simple..
I've tried installing it via the install_wlm.exe thats floating around but I always get "Installation of Windows Live.CAB was unsuccessful." yet it never gives me an actual error to work off to try and fix.
I'm using a T-Mobile MDAII with Windows Mobile 6 Professional that I upgraded to myself using T-Mobiles download.
Any hints would be much appreciated.

guys, im not sure if this would work, but try, nothing to loose

orbit 2 upgrading guide

Hey all,
i am... well a newbie. I have been reading around the forums for quite a while now trying to decide how to upgraded my orbit 2. I have read most of the threads with OS and radio upgrades and i'm still needing a little advice.
Can i ask anyone who has an orbit 2 what have you done? I want to upgrade everything on the device as its really slow and unresponsive.
Before i change things i would like to organise my sms, but i haven't found a tool to mange these from the pc. Has anyone any suggestions?
Since i am not sure about the OS roms, i thought it might be best to let you know what i have installed on top of the original O2 os rom.
I want to keep the copilot sat nav. I have htc home and customizer installed, google maps, internet sharing application, myfunambol, opera, resco reg editor and file explorer, and core player.
I am staying with o2 so i will need the operator settings from somewhere.
Is it best that i just update the o2 os rom, and the radio rom and install what i need or is there a cooked rom which would suit my requirements more?
Is this threadhttp://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=373233&highlight=rom+collected and this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=379599 up to date?
thanks!
